Nice Rod! Good to see you putting out these tutorials! I retired a couple years ago and one of the things I committed to on guitar is just learning one or two songs per week. I decided to “relearn” Locomotive Breath and there you were ! This was one of the first songs we played in my first band. Basically because I knew it. lol. Keep it up dude! 😊
Great job! I've always done it with the open chords and B at first fret but it's clear Martin plays it like this. Any chance of a follow up showing the guitar fills and solo?
Thanks so much Jed!! A follow up may be a good idea! Thanks! For my solo, I just did my own, but there are a lot of cool guitar licks on the recording!
@@roddegeorge So for guitar solo, what key/scale did you use? It seems like that unison bend you showed was done in Emin pentatonic, so wondering if you would recommend using that for soloing. Great lesson! Such a fun song.
@@daveyoung7523 Yes, Em Pentatonic will work great for this. You could also use the E Natural Minor Scale (E Aeolian) or the E Dorian Scale. Dorian will work over the whole solo progression. If you use the E Natural Minor Scale, you just want to watch out for the A chord. You could switch to E Dorian over the A chord, or as I did in my cover, play an A major arpeggio over it:) Hope that helps
Awesome and quick tutorial!
Thanks so much! Greatly appreciated!

Very good lesson, however I was hoping the lead fills played during the verse were included as well.
