Yes we have done some aggressive testing with lots of krausen and still have not managed to block it. So I dont think blocking is a bit issue but it's still a good idea to clean it out from time to time.
Hi my blowtie pressure guage stopped working after one fermentation. I took apart everything and cleaned the valve and flushed the guage with distilled water. Let it dry, pressurized a keg, and the needle isn't moving. I gave it a nudge and still not working. Can I try anything else? It worked fine for the whole lager / primary. Then I think I did something dumb during the transfer and got beer in it.
@@KegLand Did you make this video? Got beer inside my blowtie and I want to clean all of it, but I can't find out how to disassemble the gauge gently. Can the front "glass" be removed in some way? It seems to sit pretty tight, but I can't see another option.
It’s 430 am and I’m at work. Just had my fiancé call me saying there is beer spitting all over our workout room lol. Had to talk her through setting up a blowoff tube
Another great product with excellent support! Keep up the great work guys!
What is the likelihood that blowoff clogs this? Seems robust enough where it would still function during primary.

is it possible that the needle went to the end of the gauge? If the needle goes to the end of the gauge this can damage the mechanism inside.
@@KegLand yes that is probably what happened. I think I installed in on a highly pressurized keg. Thanks for the reply
Can someone please buy Kee a watch??
This was Oliver in this video. We will tell Oliver to get a watch though. haha.
Sausage fingers were a dead give away :P
Hey guys, what about the blowtie that has the gauge attached?
I don't want to get it wet or unscrew it and accidentally break it.
Thanks
Yes the gauge can be fairly easily removed.
We will make another video on this one showing how to remove the gauge soon.
Pleasese also show the best way to clean the backside of the gauge.
It gets quite dirty inside the small hole. Can I just soak it in PBW?

Everyone here watching after they get krausen all up the valve....
Haha we have all been there.
That's why I'm here...
Yep, I’m here for that reason as well

Sees sometime not tighten opposite screws
*Screams internally*
Probably won't make a difference in the real world, but old habits die hard!
Haha I know that feeling.
perfect, thx!
You're welcome!
, funny video... if I dismantle it and forgot how to rebuild, 😅
