Announcing Over $44 Million in Grants!

President Preckwinkle is joined by Cook County Commissioners and Cook County Health officials to announce the recipients of over $44 million in grants through the Stronger Together: Building a More Equitable Behavioral Health System in Cook County Initiative.
Supported by funds allocated to Cook County through the American Rescue Plan Act, grant dollars of up to $1 million were awarded to 53 organizations to support programs and services that address behavioral health inequities across the region through the expansion of access to early intervention and prevention, treatment, support, recovery, and crisis assessment and care, as well as increased systems alignment and quality.
