Is that an old policy and it’s fine to bring in, even inside the main temple, in 2023? Also, I’ve read that one has to remove shoes before entering the entire complex itself but I noticed you only have to remove before entering the temple itself and it’s immediate perimeter. Finally, seems like it wasn’t as crowded as I thought. What would you say are the busiest months and what would be the least crowded? Thanks. 🙏🙏🙏
Cameras are not allowed inside the temple but you can take it inside the premises. And you have to remove your shoes before entering the main gate of the complex. And Nov - Feb are the ideal months of visiting here as we mostly have scorching summer but these months are too crowded to visit. And there are other important shrines and tourist places related to Buddhism near the city so Google them and make plans before coming here.
