So this has always made me wonder about TH-cam. Like I get that they have sponsorships, merch, and funding from RT, but how do they generate enough money to employ so many people? It's a relatively small channel TH-cam wise so seeing them buy all this equipment and nice cars confuses me.
Not sure if working for RT helps with that but ya know
@@KitchenAppliance I mean there was an episode a while back where they had lunch with Geoff Ramsey and the first joke he makes is "what you want more money?". So they clearly get some from them but they must generate enough back for it to be worth RT's investment.
RT investment and side gigs probably explain most of it. Famous Actor James Allen McCune is a famous actor, Mimi has hosted stuff like the Teen Choice Awards, Steve's fiance has a real job to support him, Sami Jo keeps Cib on track (also, he's Canadian and probably hasn't adjusted to the exchange rate yet), James doesn't count, and the editors are... well, they're in the Bungalow Boyz gang now, so they're good no matter what.
So James Allen McCune is the producer of sp7, rooster teeth may back it, but that means they can use their offices, rooster teeth does so many brand deals that they don’t require TH-cam ads, and they do deals with places like GameStop, so GameStop can play their videos
