    Excellent explain. Sir I'm facing a problem while importing the IGES file. It shows an Error message "Error in surface tessellation for area 22. This area can only be displayed with /FACET,WIRE,and cannot be part of a V, VA,VSUM, or ASUM operation."

      It may happends when their is issue with geoemtry file or when you are importing file saved in another software. Try to save in step file or import in spaceclaim. Also check your iges geometry file propely.

      Welcome. Generally we try to avoid axisymmetric simulation for no axisymmetric loads.

    Currently I am working on asymmetric analysis of vessel.
    Present video used plane 183 as axisymmetric element, what will be the change in the results if we use plane 83 axisymmetric element with same pressure loading.

      Results should not change for both plane 183 and plane 83.

    Thank you for the video.
    May I know what is the procedure if instead of Isotropic material , I need to do same analysis with a laminate (composed of say 4 laminas each lamina with different fiber orientation angle) ?
    I know how to do using shell 181 element in apdl. Any ideas how to proceed with Axismmetry ?

    Thnkyou, sir plz upload videos regarding analysis of supporting structures of different equipments, like motor, tanks, pump, etc...Waht about weld joint in any types of analysis,
    Mean if i want to analyse loadind on a steel structure which are normally wled, which type of joint should i use or any thing special for weld joints

      Please kindly refer videos on base frame simulations for base structure validation.
      If you are Have weld details available, then you can model 3D/2D welds and do simulation if you're area of interest is weld. Neither assume bonded contact at welds and do simulation.

      You can use Pressure vessel code to design the vessel. APDL does not provide any design, whatever you will provide input it will create CAD model accordingly. You can use PVElite for designing and cad modeling.
