Thank you for the video, can we get the over all properties(like young's modulus, etc) of the final composite (after several ply stacking at different angles) ?
Thank you for the video I am trying to achieve an analysis of a COPV like here. However I am applying pressure of 160 MPa. I always took the same error. "Element .. is highly distored." Could you please help me? I increase the number of elements. I use incremental loading. What should I do?
I am sorry, the setting got covered by my pictures. in based on that time, the thickness that i mean is in the geometry setup. there is a thickness that you should input, and i said that you can input any value of the thickness of your model, caused it can be ignored.

how did you extract the surface of the vessel in 4:37 ?
Keren Om 👍 semangat terus om 👍
hello thanks for this video, ı have one question How did you surface again at 4:37 , ı cant understand
just block all surface, and try to copy and paste your surface
Hi I have a question . I will check the my design but i don't know which error mode i have to look at
Your video was so usefull for me thank you very much
Will this work for subsea ops? asking for a friend
Are you able to do the same analysis with a 2D axisymmetric model?
Thank you so much for your video. May I ask you more questions? I want to use composite material for a 3D shell geometry, How can I do it?
the basic design is pretty same, maybe the difference is the geometry and the combination and winding of your composite, and the boundary condition
At 4:30 how are you selecting surfaces and making them surface under design ?
After selecting the surfaces, simply use copy and paste command ( Ctrl C and Ctrl V). And the surfaces are generated.
How did you convert solid to surface at 4:38 ? Anyone plz.
You can convert it by blocking solid surface that you need and then right click and choose copy surface and then paste it
in 7:23 you said that" put the random in the thickness, i can'nt see any thickness box

How can I contact you for further details in this ACP composite module
