I bought one of these for DIY tasks and really like it. The battery lasts far longer than I had anticipated. Maybe not what a professional needs, but for my around the house tasks it’s perfect. Just buy a set of longer blades for reciprocating saw tasks. The ones that come with the saw aren’t long enough for demolition, etc.
I have a Porter Cable (plugged) Jigsaw as well, and always reach for this one. I agree, for such a small battery it lasts surprisingly long. Thanks for taking the time to leave the great comment. Much appreciated.
Filmed this a while ago, just did not get it posted. Since then have been using the saw (both functions) quite a built building raised planting beds out in the garden. The convenience of cordless has certainly come in handy - still much more a fan of the Jigsaw function over the Sawzall function however...
It is growing on me for sure. The convenience of a battery powered tool is making up for the slightly underwhelming performance of the sawzall feature vs a dedicated unit. And at that price point (not much more than a just the battery) makes it an even better deal.
I have a lawn mower, weed trimmer, and now this saw. You know how it is, once you buy 1 thing, you feel obligated to stick with the brand since you already have batteries. I haven't been disappointed with them yet. My weed trimmer specifically has already paid for itself and then some. It's a powerful little thing.
After retiring from my home construction business after 32 years, I am traveling around the country in my Motorhome, having limited space i am fully equipped with the Worx arsenal…very happy…
I'm jealous, sounds like a great way to enjoy retirement. Also thank you so much for taking the time on your travels to watch the video and even more so, leaving a great comment. Safe travels GENECARP.
Just got this and tried it as a jigsaw and it worked well for that. didn't try the reciprocating saw feature. I'm thinking for the little I will use it that it will work just fine. I dont always want to deal with a cord for my Makita reciprocating saw or jig saw. So I have backup if this isn't quite enough.
Hello Mark, appreciate you taking the time to leave the comment. I use this Combo Jigsaw / Reciprocating saw all the time, but one once did I use it as a reciprocating saw. It is my go to for jigsaw, like you, do have a backup corded Porter Cable, but find the Worx cuts better and straighter. Happy New Year.
There was a food truck here today at the office, they had poutine....they used shredded cheese instead of cheese curds .... Not the same :( No donairs yet!
Its for switching between a finer straight cut (position 1 or jigsaw) or a slight pendulum rough and quick cut (position 2 or reciprocating saw). Position 2 is supposed to be more aggressive and battery efficient.

I've seen good reviews on on this brand. A buddy at work bought a worx leaf blower a d string trimmer. Very well pleased with their product.

Just Joined the channel the worx brand makes a great work bench, thanks for sharing the tools they make 👍👍👍
Thanks for the join 360AL, very much appreciated.
If you switch the pendulum setting you’ll notice better reciprocal functionality.
Handy little rig. As a reciprocating saw....could see me using it a lot on small jobs. Nice review.
Thanks 👍

Amen lol 😂
Greeting's What is the pendulum switch for.
Greetings to you as well! The pendulum is to switch from ‘precision’ to ‘fast cut’
Thank you
What's the orange switch on the front for?

I have to say that it's not very impressive with a dead battery...LOL... Looks like a handy tool...
