In 2022 weren’t the Eagles favorites? This time they weren’t. Hurts seems like he was better in 2022. Maholmes was injured. This year the Chiefs had a lot of injuries, and are now the healthiest they’ve been, but have only had the playoffs with this roster. Once again, Maholmes was injured in 2022, which hampered the Chiefs a lot.
I really don’t know which teams were better. They seem close to me.

They're barely favoured in this game and it's mainly just due to the fact it's the chiefs. People have given up picking against them.
@Robester881 Huh? That’s literally exactly how odds work. The oddsmakers set an opening line that they believe will get action on both sides. The team that is perceived more likely to win is then favored by x points. If the chiefs and the browns played today and there was no spread you’d have every person putting money on KC. That’s why KC would be a massive favorite. So my point still stands, if the eagles were favored in the last Super Bowl and lost this guys logic that LC got worse and Philly got better makes no sense given the Chiefs are now favored

It doesn't tell you who the "better team" is. On paper, KC are NOT the better team in this matchup. The Eagles are too deep with stars, KC can't compare. KC aren't favoured because they're better position by position, they're favoured (barely) because they're KC.

It doesn’t matter how many positions Philly is better at (which I agree they are) what matters is which team will score more points. The Chiefs are better at QB, HC, and DC which are of the most important pieces. People are betting on who’s going to score more points and by how much, not on who has the better roster. The team that scores more is determined to be the better team lol
