Tom Brady is a blessing to the NFL. His knowledge, and communication skills are world class. To make it even better, Colin's interviews of Tom are always spot on. They're fun, and conversational but cover a lot of ground on the most interesting topics. My thanks to both of you!
This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen. A living legend casually dropping profound wisdom, insights, and life lessons. And Tom was also there. (Couldn't resist the joke. I meant the first 2 sentences though... truly amazing interview from TB12)
I can never say anything bad about Tom Brady. He never disrespects any opponents. He is not arrogant and definitely a scholar and gentleman. He never says anything bad about the players he is being compared to. In fact, he respects their greatness and always praises their skills and talents. You and Mahomes are my two best players.
"It was not intentional...we weren't trying to go out there and suck in the first quarter..." Thats a humble answer. Add likable to his personification of pure excellence.

7:02, Brady giving Spags his respect. After all, he knew Spags very well considering what happened in Super Bowl 42. Tom also calling out majority of the NFL QBs who can't understand the protections. He's not wrong when it comes to bad football going on.
the difference b/w Brady and Cam Newton is noted by recent comments. Tom focusing on being a great team player and respecting his role to not let down his teammates, while Cam talking about rather having an MVP over a Super Bowl.
One of the things I really like about Tom is hes a thorough dude. nothing extra, not trying to be appealing or talking like some superbowl extraordinaire or aficionado. just straight up realism

I use to hate Tom and the Patriots like everyone hate Pat and the Chiefs! Nothing but respect for Tom now that I get to know him since he has been commentating games! Awesome Guy!
I still like him a lot in the booth because of his insight on the game. I'm not interested in his broadcasting skills as much as I am in picking his mind.
Growing up I never cheered for New England because I wanted an underdog to take them down. At the end of the day though Brady seems like an extremely genuine and nice guy.
I think Brady can move Vegas lines just by his comments I like how Brady uses the parent teaching analogy to sports sports is truly a metaphor for life
@@ghostme1635 No, if you listened, he said that the Eagles need to play a good all-around game where the offense complements the defense just as much as the other way around, along with coaching and special teams of course, in order for them to get it done. But he's particularly highlighting that Jalen Hurts needs to have an above average game in order for the eagles to win.
We're in the NFL Golden Era right now. I think many years from now we'll look back and realize how awesome it is to have TB12 literally calling the game, while also watching Mahomes in his prime. Tom has soooo much insight to share with the world, and I love that he's using his retirement to do it. Best interview I've ever seen. I'm a lifelong Chiefs fan and just trying to soak up this moment in time. Pumped for Sunday!
This was an outstanding interview. Great questions which brought out the wisdom Tom Brady has accumulated over many years of success, for all of us to learn from. For instance, how great for kids to hear that selfishness is not the way to success!
What makes Brady truly unique is he appears to be like every other regular dad you see waiting in the self check out Line in Target, meanwhile his situational awareness, attention to detail, and muscle control is unmatched.
It was talked about this morning, the Super Bowl MVP trophy could be named after Brady. That makes a ton of sense. In the future the league MVP trophy can be named after Mahomes.
UUUUGHHHG! I have really not liked this guy (Brady) for 20 years!! Now he comes to the NFL as a commentator and does an outstanding job, breaking down plays, giving great insight, and NOW he is giving excellent parenting advice too?!?!??! Gotta say I am officially converted to a Brady fan! LETS GO CHIEFS!!!
Time for Owner Brady to stop being a broadcaster. He was involved with recent Coaching hiring in Las Vegas. That is a direct Division opponent for the Chiefs
Collin, The 7th ring from Tom Brady is the Greatest story in the NFL it’s the most Super Bowl rings from the greatest player in nfl history , against the second greatest player in nfl history And what makes it better is Tom left the New England patriots dynasty , and won a Super Bowl with the Bucs, at his age , and more and more, A Chiefs 3 peat would be the second greatest story in nfl history , but I truly think when pats career is over , this moment , with Tom and the bucs , is the greatest story in NFL History!
I never liked Tom Brady while he was playing. He came of arrogant and smug. But now he is one of my favorite commentators and speakers. I really enjoy his interviews and insights.

Even as someone grew up watching the Colts play these guys and learning to hate him... He's just really hard to dislike at all. I look forward to hearing him talk here.
Tom made a great point about today's Quarterbacks. They all seem to be athletes and we look at a lamar jackson and a josh allen and think wow we've never seen QB's do what they do, which is true, they are amazing but in the biggest moments, but being an elite QB isn't just about big plays and being out to out run defenses, scrambling around, it's about the mental, the brain, how quick you can process reading the defense, understanding what to do with the pass protection, knowing if a look by the defense isn't right then audibling at the line of scrimmage.
I love how you can tell Tom now speaks very deliberately and slowly compared to before, must have been a point of emphasis from Fox for him to slow down so the average joe can follow
when you watch Reid and Spags coach circles around guys like Sean McDermott year after year it explains a lot about how they consistently win situational football

And let's not forget that Seattle Super Bowl featured one of the most puzzling over-coached calls in the history of the NFL. Just hand the ball to Beast mode there, Pete Carroll. I still believe Seattle wins that game if they'd just have done that, and no one will convince me otherwise.

Brady is a national treasure.
Except whenever everyone hated him for stealing signs and deflating footballs.
Best Brady segment ever by Colin. Let him go off on the the subject only he can speak so eloquently about.
