- Wong Fei-Hung (portrayed by Kwan Tak-hing) gets the better of an assassin in this cleverly choreographed fight scene from Dreadnaught, directed by Yuen Woo-ping (renowned fight choreographer of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
The heroic masters in Kung Fu movies are always so sweet and calm yet perfect in their skills. That's being on top of both mental and physical strength. The other one is in Warriors 2 played by Bryan Leung.
the cool thing about hings WFH is that we see a elderly wong fei hung. in all the other WFH movies we see a young WFH or a WFH in his prime. this would make hings WFH probably the most OP since he's got the experience
Kwan Tak-hing was so iconic as the mature WFH that filmmakers decided to always portray WFH as younger in other movies since nobody else could really hold a candle to KTH's older version.
@@Frank_Einstein. i agree and hence what makes Hing's WFH so unique in the WFH universe. be careful of old men in a young mans game. :D i would love to see a WFH multiverse movie. because there have been so many WFH movies...you might as well say they were the MCU before the MCU. :D
This is so cool
👍I've been looking for this scene.
Fei Hung could spot an assassin no matter what the disguise.
he is too polite to call them out, instead he plays with them.
The actor playing the tailor I've seen in several films, always reminded me of an Asian Corey Feldman back in the day....
Yep, Kwan Tak-hing - he played the same character (Wong Fei-hung) in more than 75 films
The tailor is played by Fung Hak On. You've probably seen him in a lot more movies than you realize. He excelled as both actor and martial artist, starring in and choreographing many films for both Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest.

Isn’t that the same guy who played the mantis in “Warriors II”
Lol yes he does look like him
Sadly, Fung Hak On is no longer with us, he was in so many movies, including Police Story, The Magnificent Butcher, another in the late Wong Fei Hung canon.
He tried to kill him in so many ways. He came prepared and even had poison darts. Didn't realize the tailor had so many weapons. Even the tape could strangle.
Those scissors are very legit!!!
Good, very good!
🤩 “ FANTASTIC!…. ❤ Kung Fu. ”
Why'd you need a pin to measure me?
"Your button is loose. I'll fix it for you." The tailor had an answer for everything. He even tried to get him with a poison dart. He was good, but not good enough.
Wow! Even tailors onow better King fu than sewing
#IRONSHEIKH: WHATS THE OLD MAN NAME PLAYING WFH ???
Tak Hing Kwan
He played the same character in more than 70 HK movies from 50s-60s. Most of the stuntmen later became famous such as the Drunken Master. Very well known in South East Asia and Chinese communities in North America back then. We never called him Kan Tak Hing, we all called him Master Wong.
That old man was the famous actor and White Crane KF master Kwan Tak Hing.
