I think this is by Charles Hart who went on to bigger fortunes with his lyrics for The Phantom of the Opera. Great song from a classic series.

Did you try to do the extended parts yourself? No way is this professional. The vocals are out of synch with the music, and at one point, there’s a clave clicking out of tempo!
