5 years ago our friends set up a canvas glamping tent and put in a wood stove. My daughter and I were invited to stay in the tent to try it out so they could advertise. We have done lots of camping in our own canvas tent as 1770's reenactors but thats done during warmer weather so have never had a fire in the tent. Out side yes. So ooo. This particular October weekend the temps dipped down to 29 degrees😢. I know how to keep a fire going and keep the house at 2000 feet elevation warm with a wood stove and no other back up option so we got this. Right? Heck NO! we didn't get much sleep because we had to baby sit that stove the entire night. It was a little bigger than the one you have there in that tent but it could not keep up. We finally gave up about 2 a.m. and stayed under the down comforter where it was toasty warm. Needless to say the family was disappointed that the stove was not going to work like they imagined.
I watch The Outdoor Boys, he lives in Alaska and Camps no matter the weather. He makes some awesome ice caves and has a foldable wood stove to keep warm by... I've learned a lot from watching his survival skills. First one, don't go...😅
Justin, “Prolon fasting mimicking” diet! Keep up the good work keeping the displaced folks in the forefront! “The Girl In The Woods” TH-cam channel has one of those tents, & has it set up very cozy!
My family were campers for years. In my experience a small pop up camper could adequately be warmed up by burning a Coleman lantern. We didn't camp in the winter (Northern Illinois) but fall camping down to 40 degrees was not out of the question. Mornings were cold, but first one up lit the lantern. I'm guessing all that wood you packed in the stove blasted you out.
You guys are hilarious! Your children will never forget these moments! That is going to be one of there memorable moments! Justin I bet you could write a book on the good times and what everyone learned from the bad times! Everyone survived! Most important in this family is love and some tuff love! I wished I could turn the clock back having my family! God bless you and Becca for always sharing!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂
I could live in a ten like that because of the stove love to camp I know it’s different to have to live that way way if you don’t have to but I just have a wood stove in my house for heat in the winter it’s a lot of work to make sure we have enough wood but there is always trees down on the dirt roads that can be cut up

So much for living out of a tent for 100 hours... Should have called it sleeping in a tent to raise awareness so you didn't make yourselfs liars. Or at the very LEAST cut out the parts where you go into the house? What's the point of your challenge when you keep going into the house?
Yall are so full of adventures!! Just what teenage boys need to thrive and make those wonderful memories!! Kudos to yall Justin!!❤❤🙏😊
Your boys are learning more than anyone in regular school. No one can take what you and your wife have taught those children. ❤
Thank You Justin for bringing attention to the needs for help in N.C. and all southern states git by hurricanes this year.😢
That last 1.5 min made me smile so much!
Justin, thank you for bringing awareness to the homeless without shelter ❤Be Blessed Always 🙌

Hi Harriet! Mooooo 🐮
Harriet knows what she needs and how to get it. You guys are crazy staying in a tent when it is cold. Mad props.
We've got 5 kids too and yes it is a great thing when they all sleep through the night.

Poor Harriet, all by yourself
Your bike riding is the least of people’s troubles. Go help people.

Governor pritzker in Illinois is giving them to illegal immigrant but he's making them real he's putting them on the police force
I heard that they were going to SLEEP in the tent, not live there.
👀👀👋👋❤❤🙏🙏
Lol. ❤
your milking 'helene' for all it's worth,

I completely agree. The people having to live in a tent don’t get that luxury.
so you accuse them of being liars, and then tell them to be liars by cutting out the parts. which one do you want?
Good points.@@srlsolutionsself-reliancet3247
Wow. What a nasty human being you are.
