also this is a day 1 combo, very suboptimal and shouldn't work against people experienced in the matchup. was cool when it came out tho - egg 2 months later

A little tip on how to perform the dash-neutrallight. For those who struggle, try to press the three buttons in a row. At first DOWN then directly after that DASH and then the LIGHTATTACK with a delay slightly bigger than between DOWN and DASH. Have fun learning :)

btw if you hit the slight further away or the distance isn't quite right for the first dash-nlight, you can chd-nlight instead to stop yourself from overshooting. keep in mind that this might make the finisher not spike by the time you get to it though, which is why i like doing it this way

@@theorganizationxiii9765 The first slight is a bridge slight meaning that its not the move that started the gs string. As he mentions in the video, bridges can reset into a starter on the gs but starters cannot reset into another starter. Thus, since that first slight was a bridge, he was able to reset into a starter slight afterwards

Update: after a total of 20 hours of practise, i have mastered dash cancelling! It only took my will to live but i did it
any tips?
@@thegreatalfini its mostly about practising, but notably after you dash cancel each starter needs a slightly different timing, so you should start out trying one specific combo, then try and do other ones

You can actually do the exact same combo but starting with the n-light into s-light x2 and then do the n-light x2 and then d-light finisher. It's better to use this combo if you predict the enemy will jump. And of course it still kills at 50

I can do every single most advanced fricking gauntlet combo but this shit? Goddamn
Best starter statistically is dl into nl it has the least dodge frames between but greatsword has a lot of variation and is so versatile.
Also sl will always catch backward dodges out of dl and nl which can get you a free read
Another thing is you can catch upward dodges with nl and leave no room for an opponent to jump if you do it correct.
Greatsword definitely has the strongest grounded combo game rn and can let you get easy reads only thing you have to worry about is getting punished with the weapon, a lot of the moves have a large amount of frames so its quite high risk high reward imo. Definitely a good new weapon I just hope they dont nerf it
You can reset with vert cancelling (vcancel) dlight if you jump > dodge down (fast input) then dlight. It's around 14 dodge frames tho but it's possible.
Remember, in order to go from (starter) -> (bridge) -> THEN -> (starter) you have to input a dash. The dash smoke animation for the first starter reset is shown clearly, but the second starter reset when you go from slight bridge into slight starter [then nlight bridge and finally dlight finisher] is legit just nonexistent. It looks like hes just inputting a slight into slight but it is slight DASH slight then u finish.

Awesome combo, noticed two things
IT doesnt matter if you dash or chase Dodge.
Distance doesnt matter for the nlight to hit, you just need to input the nlight quicker during Dash/chase Dodge.
Also starting the chain with nlight is easiest And has more kill potentional it seems like.

UPDATE: I finally got it!!! You must use W after you dash down and must be quickers dash down and then press W and mouse button 1

Just mastered doing 5 hits and i have been trying to do 7 for 2 hours straight now. I got really really close once but i forgot to input the finisher. Literally just the finisher. Back to suffering I guess.

slight>nlight>chd>nlight>slight>chd>slight>nlight>chd past enemy>reverse nlight(using prioritize neutral over side)>slight>chd>slight>nlight>chd>nlight>slight and repeat it up to 999 dmg since the moves have no variable knockback. Going to take 1 millennium to pull that off XD.

I dont play with controller, but in keyboard u want to press down so it became a dash, if u press sideways it became a chd. And i think it works the same

You can do starter with starter, I tried with slight {dash reset} nlight + slight {dash} slight+nlight+dlight, but thanks for the video.

1:18 How do I do that mini dash? When I try to dash after hitting the starter and the bridge the character just makes a huge sprint and pasts too far the enemy character
make sure the damage taken from the bot is atleast 70. Then just down+dodgekey+nlight i a quick succession. Good luck!
just tested it again today. slight and bridge nlight have no variable force, so the string should work at all damage values

@Diaz good question, so basically down+dodge then u had to press attack fast or else it wont work sorry cuz im bad at explanning but it should explain everything
This won't work as smooth Mobile port, because idk if this is based on phones but you can't use one finger (apparently it won't register unless the tip of your finger pressed it) to push two button like in using a controller (thumb pressing two button to stack input so it goes of faster) you instead need a swipe motion which sometimes works sometimes won't idk why, also I won't advocate using controller to play a mobile game because you're better off playing the damn PC version instead of needing such crutch to play but won't play against other PC player on fair terms eventhou the game is very light and almost all PC can play smoothly.

He means put the analogue down and press R2 or L2 whatever you use to dodge

your probably chase dodging instead of dashing or at least that was my problem you need to press down before you dodge so you dash instead of chase dodge

I play brawlhalla mobile but the controls sucks, they have an horrible delay, such a shame, brawlhalla should keep an eye on that and the lag matches its so bad idk whats going on with the mobile servers
