Thanks for the guide! GS guides from people who actually play it, and know what they're doing with the weapon are so rare. Most greatsword guides will just teach 2 things, outdated combos that would've worked before the weapon's prepatch, but doesn't anymore, or surface-level knowledge stuff that everyone knows, like dash cancelling and the same s/nlight-dbridge combos over and over.

Awesome video. Would love a video explaining how to counter weapons using greatsword. I don’t know why but I have such a hard time countering gauntlets where’s they’re jumping around using ground pound or slight.
Well i made a tier list recently that kinda explain weaknesses of weapons (Including GS). Its not the full list but its prob the best you will get out of me.

Magyar sigs are actually underated af... Good guide, i play gs as well. The only bad sig is side hammer, the rest is really good, trust me. He is in jayeun sig tier, but mako has the best out of all the gs legends (i didnt include arcaria)
Yeah Arcadia has the best GS side sig imo. Frames are really good

You forgot dair nair on Gs being a pretty decent kill confirm since you really dont have anything or when push comes to shove. Its also pretty consistent if you can get good with it.
Edit: if you dash cancel for mid strings you will be able to do things like nlight>slight/dlight dash cancel into another nlight to catch jumps into bnb, you know things like that
Dair into recovery kills way earlier but it might be dodgeable

Prob A tier, her sigs are broken for the most part, but are subject to getting nerfed, and hers stats are horrible
At 13:17 I’d probably say blasters into GS is 50-50 because it’s most likely dependent if the player playing blasters can space decently well, and im surprised that you think katars and sword go even with GS because that seems like a one sided match up imo.
