Hey, Robbie, only really been watching your content the past few weeks but I'm honestly blown away. One of the nicest people on the site who manages to always give a laugh without ripping into other people, some of the most wholesome content on the site. Really hope things are going well for you, mate.
Just the site of Robbie in trainers and shorts is enough to give me a asthma attack - all the best for a great time and an injury free run for you both. Pair of leg ends
Please do let us know which other events you do Robbie! As a bee fellow east Anglian signing up for an event would be good motivation. Glad to see you uploading again, saw you in the murderes with Jack a couple weeks ago and nearly asked about the videos but didn’t want to disturb you. Good to see you back😁
This has given me a kick up the arse to start running. I've wanted to get cracking to 5k for a while but never had the motivation. So I guess I want to say thank you!
I was very good at running in January.. I do run a bit now at the gym but can only manage about 16 minutes before deciding to stop. I think I need to get back into running outside with the fresh air and different inclines. Got a 10k event with my dad next month! First running event for me!
Superb this Robbie! I’ve just done the manchester half marathon having only done 14 training runs. This is the first time I’ve run in 20 years so we’ll impressed. Absolutely addicted now. Look forward to the next vid.
Started with couch to 5k in April 2020 during lock down and a ran half marathon by January. No races, just running. 21min 5k, 45min 10k and 1:49 half mara pb’s but I just lost interest 3 weeks ago out of nowhere. After watching this I might start running again
starting to train for something like that is daunting, man. especially to begin with when you pick up so many injuries like shin splints and stuff. this is cool see how someone goes from novice level to decent. ofc you have the experience of having done it multiple times
In a very similar position myself, Robbie. Ran plenty a few half marathons in the past and plenty of 10k's (pb - 49 mins like you). Sacked running off during lockdown last year and really struggling to get back into it. Ran for the first time in over 2 months last week and can only run for 2 miles at the minute and even that's a stretch but hoping I can keep it up over the winter months and into next year 🤞 good luck with your marathon training, look forward to seeing how you get on!
Hey Robbie! Love the content! You should make a Robbie's Running Club on strava so your followers can see how you're doing and keep themselves motivated!
Oh God Robbie, what have you done? I completed Sober October for McMillan, raised 600 quid, then spent a few happy November evenings getting gently sloshed. This morning I woke up with a headache and a lovely email from McMillan thanking me for signing up for the Edinburgh Marathon. If I die doing it I'm going to come back and haunt you. Thanks for the inspiration though. All the best, Pete
Love this! Started running again and have done a couple of 10Ks before, but never thought a half marathon was something I could achieve. Might try now… 🙂
I started running March 2020, I run around 50k a week and looking to actually start working towards a marathon, I’ve ran about 8 half marathons 3 of them this month, looking forward to entering my first marathon
Let the de-ranking commence! Got to pound those ~sea level East Anglian gradients to work off those DeliverMoobs... I may well see you two out on your runs if any are in the Fine City this winter. I'm pushing myself to get out every day (which has included whilst full of cold this past week and a half) and am just a couple of days away from a full month's worth, so a third of the way through. Previously my best had been four consecutive days last winter, so this is above and beyond anything I've ever taken on before or thought I was capable of. I have a total mileage target to hit before the end of the year, so don't actually have to run for 92 consecutive days to achieve my goal, but the average works out at just over 5K per day, so I thought that was the 'easiest' way to get there. I've just checked Garmin and I'm on 105.7 / 314.5 mi so I'm on target to finish up with some of the Xmas period to spare. I've never run a full marathon but have done Norwich Half Marathon 2017 (1:45:55 8:02 min/mi) & Bungay Black Dog Half Marathon 2015 (1:41:00 7:40 min/mi). There's no way I'd hit those paces if I built back up to that distance these days (now aged 42). I do want to push myself to do at least one full marathon and had loosely planned next year to be the year, but then I've thought that for a few years now (probably since 2017). You're right when you say sign-up and commit yourself to a target, so as long as I enter the new year with fully functioning knees (bearing in mind I have hereditary arthritis from both sides of the family) after hopefully completing my current challenge and earning my badge, then I'll take the plunge...
@@RobbieKnox Cheers, Coach Knox!👍 The thought of even training for a full marathon still intimidates me though. I was sensible for both those halves and gradually built up my mileage and left a pre-race taper but still ended up running both on a swollen ankle and barely being able to walk afterwards. Second time was because I filled in for my footy team the day before when they were short (had only turned up to help run the line and pad the bench out, but some idiot got himself sent off after winning a free kick) and rolled my ankle trying to tackle someone. Retired now though (inc veterans), so no excuses there anymore. Dangle a big enough carrot in front of me and I'll chase it down...🥕🥕🥕🏃🏃🏃
Does Jack think hes safe after all the arrogant shite hea said about us scottish folk? (Kidding ofc tho hes had some piss poor shouts - as has everyone)
Genuinely never seen a camera trick better than Robbie teleporting backwards, absolutely amazing
Cost me £58,000 that.

I'll take Badger's Pies as fuel.
I love how Robbie describes himself as a 'content creating machine' despite his last video being 2 months ago
All machines need to be serviced.

I've put the links to the ones I'm doing in the description of the video! And come say hi next time you see us please.
Good luck Robbie, will be great to watch your progress! My next marathon is London 2022, chasing that sub-3!
Incredible! I'm chasing sub-4 so god knows how you get an hour off that!
This has given me a kick up the arse to start running. I've wanted to get cracking to 5k for a while but never had the motivation. So I guess I want to say thank you!
Love this Nathan. You've got this.

Amazing, how did it go? Come run Edinburgh - there are marathon and half-marathon options!
Onwards towards your fourth marathon! That’s _incredible!_ 🙌✨
Congrats on all of them! 🏆🏅✨
Thanks!

Those are amazing times. Get back into it. I find having a rat in the future helps focus my training.
I have just entered for the Edinburgh marathon!!
AMAZING SAM! See you at the start.
Well done mate, good to see you running again. 👏👏🏃♂️🏃♂️
Let's go running together soon.
Just the best bloke
Not as good as you Morgan.
And he’s back!
YEAH HE IS!

Trippin off the beat kinda, drippin off the meat grinder
Registered for Edinburgh last weekend as my first marathon, very daunting but you give me faith that it's possible with the right training.
Amazing. See you there as you run past me at twice my speed!
Edinburgh is also my first marathon! Bricking it a bit 😅
@@laurent6782 bricking it after my 12 mile run at the weekend.

I find having a race to focus on helps me train. Otherwise I just give up.
The return of the Knox! Praise be
I’ve heard kings lynn parkrun is quite a quick one Robbie!
Only 5k - Can then go to the Maids Head afterwards!
Love this. Will try and pop over one weekend and do it!

Great idea. I'll look into it!
Just signed up Robbie! Did a half marathon last year then stopped due to covid. Now I’m gonna get back into it!
YES CALLUM!
Entering a the milton keynes marathon tonight!
YES BCT!
Xpo sounds great! Hope all went ok with the marathon!
Good to see Jack out training with you
I just signed up for my 1st marathon at Manchester. Cant wait!

I did my first one and did 2 hours 40 mins
You definitely can. I believe in you Alan.
Smashed it. I think my first one was around that.
Thought about doing a marathon... might have to give one a go. Good luck for this one Robbie :)

Just as I started getting back into running Mr Knox pops up 👌🏼
Let's become athletes together Tim.

What does the Norwich move mean for the annual FIFA tournament?
Means it'll move to Norwich. That's all.
Good luck on the marathon
This is lovely
Feels like I e waited a lifetime for this upload, just need the walk with max now...
when did you move away from kent?
In the summer! Had to time it for dull school stuff.
What happened to the walk with Max Smith? Did I miss it?
Out today!
@@RobbieKnox what a time to be alive. Lovely stuff!
Furthest I’ve ever ran is 14km.. this has made me want to run a marathon now!

here for the running vlogs yaaay #parkrun
HERE WE GO!
Edinburgh is Second biggest marathon in the country behind London is it 👀😉
Isn't it? Have I got that wrong?
@@RobbieKnox just sounded weird because London and Edinburgh are in different countries 😂
How’s your training going Robbie?
In-video advertising is exhausting!
I ran 15 times in August and increased my personal best by 4 minutes! And then I wonder why I don't get any faster by only running once a week.
Makes such a difference when you properly commit doesn't it? Following a real training plan is the future.
@@RobbieKnox yes robbie!
How come you have moved Robbie?
Mix of things but mostly no longer being tied to the South East post-covid, and boring school stuff.
What’s happened with Jaackmaate. Is he taking a break from making videos on his TH-cam channels.
He's in America. Back this weekend.
Your my favourite person in the world
You're in my top 8.
Are you adopting the Dave Bedford look for the marathon.
Ah the joys of subtitles
All the best in the Embryo marathon
😂
Thought I might win if racing against actual foetuses.
Sir Robbie of Knox
Smash it Robbie! From TRAMP! to CHAMP!
YEAH JOSH!!!
Could've worn speedos mate; them shorts didn't give as much fear of seeing a popout as I like.
Next time. And I'll do lunges for you!
Wow, Pedro Pascal is running a marathon. This is huge news!
Massive isn't it.
