I like this scene. Megatron's 3 questions seems to focus on how those in power(ruling elite) use and abuse the power vested on them. The phrase absolute power corrupts absolutely comes into mind when those in power(ruling elite) are suppose to care for the people.
After this comic, I can not see Optimus the same way as I did before, they gave him much more development on his charecter then any series ever did, I really enjoy the impression on this one and the acting was pretty damn good!!!

If you don't mind some criticism, I have to say that this is an amazingly great impression of modern day Peter Cullen, especially the way he voices Optimus in the live action films...But this scene reads a bit differently than the calm, noble voice of Optimus Prime would use. Orion Pax is, at this point, EXTREMELY pissed off, having fought his way through a whole bunch of security bots to make this speech, all the while shouting it over the protestations of the senators. So yes, while this is a great Prime impression, I think it should definitely be more angry, more rushed, more passionate. I hope you don't mind my saying.
I honestly think the calm, tranquil rage works best for Optimus Prime. Rage is easy, quiet, tranquil fury has greater depth. Captain Larry Cullen said it best to his brother Peter. "You don't need to be loud and bombastic, be real, be gentle."

After all, a fire does not have to be big to burn hot; much like a welding torch, such a fire can burn hot and burn bright, but be used with precision to fix problems. It’s not often that ya see Optimus angry, especially out of a Peter Cullen-like version, but I like to think that when he is, it’s a lot like that; heated and passionate, yet focused and tempered.
On another note, I do wonder how this speech would sound from a Gary Chalk impression, as his Optimus generally sounded more openly passionate than Peter Cullen’s.
I just freaking love that with every incarnation of Optimus, in any of the universes and series, the writers honor and at the same time give new life to the character and what he stands for. It gives us an opportunity to go into more depth with him, and become even closer to our wise autonomous friend, as well as his commrads. I only wish I could convey my love for these characters and the Transformers universe more.

this prime is better because he isn't copying Peter Cullen, he is being Optimus Prime. One can't just copy a voice, you have to make it your own. This guy does that, he makes himself Optimus.

Awesome performance my friend. Optimus characterization in his youth has always been moving to me, as you can see a young idealist come to terms with a world he cannot fully understand.
(OG Gundam fans would get this) It would be like Char and Amuro working together even past "Char's Counterattack" Orion/Optimus would mitigate and refine Megatron's methods, but still retains his straightforward mentality.
I love this. I loved every second. The voice, the tone, and the emotion put into it. Just everything you did was fantastic. But I'd really like to see more scenes like Optimus and Megatron conversing, or some scenes Megatron's origin comics. That'd be epic!

I do agree with a few comments, though, that perhaps a little more passion could have been put into the voice. There was a comment below that stated rage could be a form of tranquil fury, and for Optimus that is exactly the case, but even then, there have been moments when he has raised his voice - as much as is possible for Optimus - when the moment is right and demands it. Even still . . . wow! You do not only Optimus, but Peter Cullen great honor. Very, very nice! And a wonderful scene. I really wish I had been able to afford the comics . . . or even find them. Gosh, Utah sucks! Do you happen to know where I can find the special edition or hard cover copies of the comics? I've been told there are hard cover editions. Anyway, excellent job!
