What i always do with eggs i get from people over the internet is. If none hatch or the one's that don't have i wait about 8 days more since I have had chicks hatch 5 days over due. then any that don't hatch i then let them set out about 8-24 hours on the kitchen counter and crack them open to see what i got. all of the other eggs where yolks. so only 3 hatched from three different colored eggs so im hoping they are not related. ill post another video of them later :)

I ordered Coturnix quail eggs on Amazon and they came in the other Day and it was an Amazon box with marker words reading “fragile” “hatching eggs” And inside were 14 quail eggs in a carton covered in shredded newspaper and packing peanuts I ordered 12 quail eggs but they probably made a mistake it was probably because they wanted to cover all the holes in the carton probably One worker had OCD or something
no i just contacted him and he sold them to me. but i will not contact him again since all the other eggs were yolks and he never emails you back and was rude to me. I have another contact for you and you get more eggs for less money.

I hope you get some female because I have 15 males no females I have not find no eggs at all in any of my cages I have had 11 of these quail all summer and no egg so I say they all are males.I love your video's thank you for sharing they have helped me a lot on all my birds.
yeah i know it's annoying when that happens 3 eggs where stuck to the egg turner but the eggs where only yolks so none died from that, all 3 are doing great..:)

probably he just have one breeding pair and it takes him a while to collect the eggs ...I have 10 button quail eggs laying even the ones I though were males are females LOL I have one that it was kinda small and it looks like a male to me and is laying too :)
no not at all but sometimes a chick will not hatch at all and you want to see if it's still peeping to help it if you have to . but open and close the incubator very very fast so the eggs don't shrink wrape the chicks in the eggs and then they can't hatch at all :) but they do need food after 24 hours if you are gone on hatch day :)
I would say no don't order since i have bad luck with eggs being shipped to me in the winter. i just got 12 serama eggs and not developed so wait until the spring for sure. :)
yes she sold you old eggs. some people don't collect them on the day they are laid. what happens is the egg gets the hormone release from the hen & starts incubating them. when she then collects them they die in side and the eggs will stink when it rots in the incubator. eggs that are fresh never stink in the incubator this is one way to tell if someone collects 2 day old eggs or older. she should send you more eggs. this is why making unboxing videos of the eggs will show the problems later.:)
you are so welcome. and if you have videos of those quails I can see about sexing them or send you a video on sexing them some breeds like Coturnix males have foam in the poop only which means they are breedable.
when I told her about the old bad smelling eggs she sent me ,she said the eggs was from one of her friends and she was just salling the eggs for him/her waterever...im sure she was laying ..the was a very bas expirience :(

Why keep so many (i know they like to be at least two and more, but why keep ten or twenty? just to keep them happy? can you eat the eggs like regular quail eggs (morbid question but i am curious) anyone can give me a short explanation for why they are fascinated by these birds? thanks for any serious reply!
did I told you the other day that someone sold me really old eggs in ebay??? they were California valley quails and Im not stupid im 100% sure the lady sold me the eggs didnt hatched for her coz when I open the package they had chacks all over and smelling really bad and the inside part was black...there is no way that fresh eggs will smell like that..and I paid $85.00 dollars for 24 old eggs ..I contact her and I told her return at list the half of my money

they will run from u
keep a lot for eggs and so you still have a lot if some die off
also these birds you don't see a lot of and permits cost money but they are hard to raise
