Made my boss buy 2d gps for our 14t kobleco, definately the way to go. More accurate and saves so much time getting out of the machine or the cost of a labourer 👌
Grab a video of Charlie...Haven't seen that character in a while! Tim better bring a catheter tomorrow the neighbor is keeping him covered up! Thanks for video!
i've dug up a few drain fields in my day, thats the first one i've ever seen with water in it that was still working, normally they drain a lot better then that, there also seems to be a lack of direction with the septic dudes in where they lay pipe vs property lines and where future work may or may not take place...
@@JohnSebeny without a doubt! He's a helluva operator, works hard like a good ole southern boy should, is a very talented young man and a genuinely good dude.
For the amount of easy digging you do like on a job like this why not get a bigger bucket so you can move dirt faster? Even upgrading to quick change set up. You seem to do a lot of clearing jobs taking down trees then digging up roots...wouldn't a ripper hook make it easier to dig stumps out and still be able to pick up stumps...brush and trees with the ripper and thumb? then switch to the usual bucket for tough digging and have a bucket 50% bigger for jobs like this? even if it was only a manual quick change or not hydraulic...
Have you considered wireless headsets for coms and recording? Just wondered? That would take care of the machine noise and give you hands free ability to communicate with your crew.
Love the vids as always, fun and entertaining to watch. Also learning stuff I don’t know about. But I’m wondering since a while now... Is there a specific reason why you don’t use gps or Trimble or whatever exists in this day and age? I mean it ofcourse is expensive but at the same time you wouldn’t have to get out to check grade or have someone else do it
Hey Chris Is that 55 good for septic system installation? I’m starting to do septic system installation and I would like to get the perfect size machine for the job
Chris in some of your videos I've seen your pig cooker did you make it yourself or buy it. Just curious I'm looking for one and I've seen some on line the two places were down around just south of Greensboro NC.. I like the way yours is built. If you don't mind letting me know I would appreciate it. BTW love your videos
Hope the neighbours don't have toilet troubles tonight and put two and two together and think your to blame then try to do something stupid to your equipment ,it's happened before.
So what kind of fines are that property owner looking at having septic physically run across property lines like that? I know here in VT you can get in serious trouble if even your leech field run off flows onto an adjacent property
I'm sure I could smell the septic tank, and feel the ground shake when you rammed down the dirt after capping it. Is Vinnie a short person? The dump truck looked awfully big when he got out of the cab to have a smoke. The grade marker pillars look like Mayan temple ruins. If you do happen to spot any Inca warrior priests, lock yourself in the excavator cab because they do human sacrifices. As for getting a fourth person on the job, I am pretty sure people would queue up ready to pay you for the chance to run the dump truck and roller.
They have hubs/grade stakes that are important until you have an established building pad to base elevation off of. Once you take out a stake you are going to have to work 10x harder to make grade with the one missing.
Yeah, you all are letting her eat there today !! Now ya got the whole place Funked Up with that Big pile of Shite...lololol... Gotta get that outta there quick !! lololol... Great as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening Man !!!
what's the make and model of your laser level? i am looking to get one for grading, but i don't know anything about them. i want quality, reliability and affordability. i want it all. i'll have my cake and eat it too.
I hope you dont come back to vandalized equipment. We had someone fill our hydraulic tanks and full tanks full of water because we woke them up working.
Asking out of my unadulterated ignorance: At. about 5'30" of the video, what is the purpose of those rows of columns of dirt that you're leaving, Chris??

@letsdig18 Good to see you don't mind taking help from your neighbor. And nice to hear you still have/use the walkie, those are some time savers!
U could try putting the receptor in the jib of the digger for getting your levels, should work fine as long as the job is straight
As long as the jib is straight*
Never mind just got to the part where u mentioned that
"Into every life some shit will fall!"
Good to have a driver that learns quickly, isn't it?
What are you talkin about
Good to see the walkie talkie out again. Doesn’t hurt to have communication Chris !
😂🤣
hope new driver works out for head fine good help and people willing to work now day

I like all your videos but liked this one even more... very informative and interesting... thanks...
amazing how much a few good operators can get done when they aren't concerned about looking for something better to do.
"You shit it and we'll get it " was what my buddy had painted on the side of his septic truck years ago.
You know what they say Chris, share the wealth.
Tell your neighbor good luck l hope he's around for the long haul!!!
Loved the chit chat with the septic line it gave me a mile and chuckle for the day. Made for good watching bro
Hey hey, you need to go live some time. We can talk with you in real time. Have a good one. Take care.
Very interesting to learn how a grading project goes
Man, that's a long day of working, filming and editing to get a vid up today! Cooler days are comin. Great vid as usual.

now can't wait to see tomorrows video ..as "THE TURD TURNS "
I must say I'm quite impressed with the speed of that machine. I've never operated a Volvo but I sure seems faster than any excavator have operated.
Maybe Stonehenge is just a construction site where they forgot to take down the grade measure "islands".
How do you know if you're holding the grade rod plumb, or do you only have to get it close enough for rough grade?
Do you have to leave the survey peg in place for checking on grade by the surveyor later?
Volvo dumper still sounds like it's not running just quite right yet. Injectors still clogged? Pour a gal of Lucas injector cleaner in the tanks....
Beginning to wonder if you were going to post a video tonight.
I know I want to become a heavy equipment operator. I am hoping I can switch my job to that in the Navy before I get out
Enjoyed your video Chris thank you for sharing
Have you considered wireless headsets for coms and recording? Just wondered? That would take care of the machine noise and give you hands free ability to communicate with your crew.
You need to find out if you could fit a receiver on ya drone ,now that would save a lot of time , you could patent it
Neighbor's got good hauler intuition. Most just sit in the way and wonder why you're mad
I don't know if you have done this yet, but a quick overview of the controls would be interesting.
Hay the craper is full.

That articulating "knuckle" in the middle of that A30D must have to take incredible forces
It is so much nicer to hear you when you're not trying to talk above the machine noise. What's going to be built on this site?

Better secure those machines overnight... or you may get in them in the AM and find the neighbor took a dump lol
That’s no joke, people actually have done that in the cup holder in a dump truck cab on one site I’ve worked on!😜
Thats insane!!@@misterbeans6064

Your neighbor must work for state farm "like a good neighbor he is there" lol Great video
Looks like the neighbors need new field lines. They don't seem to be perking anymore.
They are also going to need to need a line of tall trees on the property line to.
Tim cracked me up when he said wht the hell you say lol
There's nothing better than a 52" bucket of shit water. Lol.
New driver, radios, man you cookin with peanut oil now!!✨✨
you make it look so easy
"Where do I put this dirt?"
"Hot, hot, hot, cold, very cold, warm, cold, hot, BINGO!"
:D
Could really give Tim and Newman a break and load the haul truck with the yanmar! 😂
lol
That will take a while. Those guys could go on a small vacation.
Do you have more than one off road dump truck????
No, he only has one.
That grab looks like a pain in the hole working and trying to look tru it
Have you changed the injector on the A30?
Can I hear sone more Timmy,..Timmy..,Timmies. Lol
Nothing worse than sewer dirt to deal with
Do you still have old Bay the big bulldozer
Hey what's up with the new guy he spoke more in the first video then Tim's spoke in the last 50
Well he had the the ability to talk in a radio. Tim only had the chance for a short time, before the radios where "forgotten".
Tim's on his phone not the walkie

Chris you are going to have to put your mailbox up on that job.
Great video thanks for sharing it

13ecker Thanks for the explanation, always wonder that.
If I was not in Kannapils and two hours away from you I’d come run Roller
This video would be more fun if I was your new truck driver 😁 Just sayin’

Asking out of my unadulterated ignorance: At. about 5'30" of the video, what is the purpose of those rows of columns of dirt that you're leaving, Chris??

the fountain of POOP!!!
Go steal a couple of Logger Wades injectors from his “new” log truck!
“Turdminator”
Going to be a really crappy day for the neighbor I wonder if they watch your videos lol
Is your calf still alive, Chris.??
Is he the Neighbor that your new shop is hiding the home of...??
