@@mattbrown-mb 😂 is a forever chemical that can't be removed through treatment processes so of course it will be present everywhere and build up over time. Even our blood vessels contain it
@mattbrown-mb I would recommend the case of Maine where comprehensive testing has shown high levels of PFOS and PFAS in produce, soil and in the blood of people and animals. As a result, farm land is taken out of production. Also present in sewage are micro plastic, pharmaceuticals, Pcb,triclosan, glyphosate and more. Sludge is tested for heavy metals and pathogens and nothing else. The same situation exists in the UK. Hope this is helpful.
@@mattbrown-mb check out your local water companies website. Severn Trent used to boast about how 'green' they were being by finding new ways to recycle or reuse waste. They've been spreading sludge - the waste from sewage treatment works that doesn't get flushed into our rivers, on fields for around 20 years.
They will already have a far larger risk of cancer due to all the toxic smoke from burning plastics etc so i doubt it make all that much difference. Look at the number of cancer diagnosis in those fire fighter who death with the Grenfell fire
The FBU has been flagging the higher rates of cancers in fire fighters for a while. They know the foam is one route. Defence lawyers are talking about the other sources too - say fumes from burning plastics/foams. Polluters spend more money on defence that putting stuff right.

There are techniques being develope to remove and break down many of these chemicals now. Treatment of domestic water supplies will help but for the contaminated soil ..its like areas with high levels of natural toxic elements in the soil and ground water.. it may lead to bans on growing crops or minimal disturbance of the soil for gardening. Some of those self same areas leak radon gas as well so that means changes to building construction. 🧙🏼♂️🥼
Worked there for 20years, one guy was the I.T bloke and is just annoyed he got sacked, other only just moved to the area and saying I thought if was my forever home 😂 Forever chemicals have been found further upstream to Angus, so how is it Angus is to blame? people just wanting a payout!!

PFOS and PFAS are present in sewage sludge which is spread on farmland on which crops are grown.
Do provide evidence of this.

Radon, and other toxins like lead occur naturally, but are you using that as a reason to not be outraged at the lack of responsibility shown here?
