Upvote for the Folklore mention - one of my favorite games of all time, several renowned people in the industry worked on it, Yoshiki Okamoto “Street Fighter II”, Kozy Okada “Shin Megami Tensei”, and Hirohiko Araki “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure”
Really curious where or if Legend of Dragoon is placed. Same with the Octopath Traveller games. Pokemon Red was such a great game! I just didn't feel as attached to the later ones to play, can't beat the original 150!

Crisis Core’s placement sounds fair from a purely objective view.But I played it (and saw the ending) as a kid. So basically pure emotional trauma that crushed it’s way into being one of my favourite games of all time
Dope list. Mostly similar to mine, outside that I have not ventured too much outside of Playstation rpgs. Only major different take thus far is best Grandia in outside top 50. First Grandia is easily top 10, even 5 for me.
I think in your Xenoblade x review back then you wished you saw those huge enemy monsters fought each other to make the world more alive… and they actually made it happen in Xenoblade 3!
I would love to play Folklore but I no longer have my PS3. I remember seeing it in games shops back then but didn't realise what type of game it was. Otherwise I would have picked that up back in the day
Would have put Daybreak in my top 40. The characters, the setting, and the psychological trauma explored definitely puts this higher for me. Solid list though.

XCX was painful. Obtuse combat, OP enemies roadblocking progress, node installation a chore... There's a good game in there somewhere, though: let's hope they sort out the combat and rebalance it for the remake

The Final Fantasy XV with 4K texture pack on PC is amazing

As I’ll continue to comment on every video in this series, you criminally underrate FF12 and have many games higher than it that simply should not be.
