A suggestion is to just get rid of all the kitchen stuff (or use it in your current kitchen) , it’s not expensive to buy and you’ll probably end up rarely using that stuff. I’ve just done a big tidy up of my kitchen and stuff like that was the first to go. When I first moved out of home I bought most of the basics from second hand stores and I bought some pots and pans on sale at a department store, I’ve lived out of home for 10 years at least and I only just replaced the second hand stuff last year.
Yeah I feel ya! Honestly it's crazy isn't it, you're right I probably won't use most of it! I'll have to have another look though and see what to keep and what to give away. Thanks for the insight I really appreciate it. 😊
I'd be inclined to agree - I've been in my own place for 10+ years now and all the stuff in that box is things I've not used much! Plus I have a feeling you might want non-plastic things by the time you get your own place because of your interest in health & wellbeing. You did a great job though, well done! And the wax set - you didn't sound enthused about it, I'm guessing your passions lie elsewhere so allow yourself to say goodbye to that past interest if that feels right? It's served it's purpose, it's got you to this point, so the expensive gift has been a blessing in your life
Do NOT put water as a substitute for windshield washer fluid when it is cold. Windshield washer fluid has antifreeze in it so it stays a liquid in cold weather. As water expands when it freezes, it could crack the tubes. It’s fine if you live in a warmer climate - but here in Canada, it’s a big NONO. If you need to clean your windshield in the winter and don’t have proper fluid, just wipe it from the outside with snow!
I agree totally, I didn't mean that I would put it into the washer it's self (there isn't enough in that bottle anyways haha) but just pour it over the bird poo/dirty window and press the window wiper to wash it away . 😊 Such a great thing to mention though thanks for the tip! Nobody wants cracked tubes in their car!😬 xx
Decluttering is always so cathartic, its looking really good in your room, you've done well cleaning it out, it always feels so good afterwoods :) :) I wish my room was smaller then I would not have as much lol, Random side note I used the Hannahpads for my second waste free period and they are pretty awesome and I agree with you on the less pain side and not as bad as I thought to clean up either.
It really is I agree! Thanks so much, it honestly feels like a weight has been lifted every time I declutter it's awesome. I'm so happy you're enjoying hannahpads! That makes me super happy, they really are great aren't they. You're awesome. ❤️
I'm not a minimalist, but I realized have less "stuff" than you do. (I don't have a junk drawer, but I probably have 70-100 clothing items.) I really enjoy surrounding myself with only what I use and need :)
It's true each person is completely different and we all have different things in our lives and areas where we collect things, I've always had a junk draw and probably always will 🙈 . Minimalism for me is a journey and I improve slightly each day, however I don't know if I'll ever be one of those super minimalists you see on some channels! So nice to hear you're conscious about the things you surround yourself with and bring into your life! 😊 Also if you've seen my first decluttering videos you'll see how much i've improved! 😂
Living the life you love It’s nice seeing you talk about what you keep and not, and actually telling us how you feel about it. Whenever I watch declutter/minimalism videos I seems like a lot of people have no problem getting rid of all their stuff. It is more relatable when you you tell us that you have doubts about things, and that you actually keep some stuff ☺️
Thank you, I'm happy you think so. I just wanted to share my authentic journey to minimalism without being preachy or looking like I know what i'm doing (because I dont hahahaha) it's all a process. So happy you can relate. 😊
Watched both decluttering videos great job! I'm currently working on decluttering my house and it feels great I have gotten rid of soooo much but it seems like there is always more 😳 hope you're having a wonderful day! Xo
Love this video, but I feel like that kitchen stuff could be in the kitchen and be used while you wait to leave home?~~ Maybe you can ask your mom to put your stuff together and just use it, until you are living there
It's all just duplicates of stuff my mum already in the kitchen has really. I'm glad it inspired you to declutter again, that's so awesomeee! My pleasure as always lovely xx
I love watching your minimalist videos. I've been meaning to ask you for awhile now, thought I would ask here bc this vid is the newest. What brand are the shoes you go on walks and hiking in? They look so comfortable and now that it's winter, I've been wanting a pair of good sturdy walking boots. They look like they'd be worth the cost.
Thank you so much! :) My hiking boots are from a company called Karrimore (they unfortunately aren't vegan just incase you were. The description online doesn't mention that they are made of actual suede but sadly they are ☹️) However they are really high quality and comfortable hiking boots. xx
Do you use a menstrual cup? If so, what's your experience been like? I wanna try using them cuz reuseable pads are like nappies but ive always had a fear of tampons!
I sure do! I made a video talking all about what I use for my period, you might be interested in it! 😊 Here's the link th-cam.com/video/FJUt8s0_2qw/w-d-xo.html I love my Diva Cup, it's saved me so much money so far and is super convenient. Hope that helps. 😊
I found the Osprey a really strange shape and difficult to pack to swapped over to a Kathmandu Wayfarer, you might be interested in this video I filmed 😊 th-cam.com/video/We-wAb1KlyI/w-d-xo.html
Hahaha love this comment! I hope you do, that would be a nice surpise if you did. I really didn't get along with the Osprey, it is such a strange shape and makes it really hard to pack/live out of so I upgraded to another brand. 😊
It sure was, phew. Exhausted even thinking about it hahaha. I can't believe I found £20 that I didn't even know i'd lost! You can see why I've put myself on a budget now 😂
loved this vid but my fav part was your cute lil cat just hanging under your bed!!! hahaha soo cute!
Hahaha bless her, it's her favourite spot! Think she's a bit mad with me now i've exposed her secret hiding place hahaha. 🙈😂 .
The kitty under the bed is so pretty! The one playing with the ball looks a lot like my Ethan.
Hehehe I love cats so much! ❤️

So inspirational!! :) Cannot wait to get back to all my belongings and be able to declutter.
Aww thank lovely! I can imagine how you feel, that's how I felt while I was away!

Thank you! Congrats on decluttering, it's quite the mission isn't it! You've got this ❤️
Great video! You did a really nice job with letting things go. I probably would've run the vacuum after being totally done (esp under the bed).
Thank you! I vacuumed once i'd taken my things to the charity shop 😊
1. Your curls!
2. I'd love to also be joined by a cat when I declutter, or whenever really.
3. Thumbs up for finding money
Hahhaha omg Emelia honestly this comment has made my day! Thank you for all 5 points you mentioned you wonderful human! ❤️
Yeyy, smiling c:

btw, where did you get your computer desk?? Thank youuu

Suncream only lasts 3-6 months once opened, then it loses its effectiveness. Best buy new when you next need it x
Oooh good thing to know thank you! Didn't even realise haha xx
Very useful thanks and enjoyable to watch. Glad it made you feel so good! :O)
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Hehe decluttering never fails to make me feel happy (once it's done haha)
I use Stocard app to store my cards. I’ve found it useful as I can keep the cards without physically holding onto them
Oooh thank you for sharing, that's a great idea! 😊

aguakate depending on the seller on etsy the pads you buy needn't feel bulky.
I sure do! I made a video talking all about what I use for my period, you might be interested in it! 😊 Here's the link th-cam.com/video/FJUt8s0_2qw/w-d-xo.html I love my Diva Cup, it's saved me so much money so far and is super convenient. Hope that helps. 😊
Your cat is so cute!! My cat also makes nests out of the things i leave on my floor 🙈
Aww she is bless her soul! They are such wonderful creatures, love them to bits! ❤️
I was wondering why you are selling your Osprey bag? And what are you using now instead?
I found the Osprey a really strange shape and difficult to pack to swapped over to a Kathmandu Wayfarer, you might be interested in this video I filmed 😊 th-cam.com/video/We-wAb1KlyI/w-d-xo.html
Is the Osprey backpack already sold? Or do you sell it via a website where I can have a look at it?
Hey there! I haven't sold it yet so if you'd like me to send you some pictures of it then send me an email, Livingthelifeyoulovewithkay@gmail.com 😀
Wow, I need to clean up under my bed, maybe I'll find a gorgeous cat as well! :D Why do you sell your Osprey backpack, it's to big for you?
Hahaha love this comment! I hope you do, that would be a nice surpise if you did. I really didn't get along with the Osprey, it is such a strange shape and makes it really hard to pack/live out of so I upgraded to another brand. 😊
the cat
My little cutie ❤️
Quite a mission but you found 20 pounds. Joy of joys. Nice video.
It sure was, phew. Exhausted even thinking about it hahaha. I can't believe I found £20 that I didn't even know i'd lost! You can see why I've put myself on a budget now 😂
your voice is so cute and so calming to listen!
Thats such a lovely compliment, thank you! ❤️
