Your home is stunning! You have certainly taken the time and effort into thinking about how you want it to look. Everything is so tranquil yet very homely too. You have used several outlets that I use for my purchases. I had to smile when your showed some items of furniture which just about squeeeezed into a small space. Sometimes you have to spend a little bit of time to find the right item. I came across your channel for the first time today and look forward to catching up on some of the videos. Your cottage is beautiful: I love what you have done with it.I had a Weimeraner dog named Echo years ago. Your kitty is so adorable.I love how he purrs so much.He's a happy boy.We have five cats and two dogs.I can't wait to see Echo's video.

This has made my day .. I have a difficult day cat was poorly over night then disappeared all day. When home still poorly emergency vet visit, steroids. Hopefully he will improve. A worrying day so this was just the stress relief needed thank you. X

Your new home is really coming together and it looks so cosy and inviting! We’ve got white bedlinen which I didn’t like so we got a beautiful Navy bedspread to put over them from Next, might be an idea? Echo is just gorgeous, those eyes🥰

Gorgeous cottage. Charlotte at Milk and Honey Life on TH-cam covered her dark kitchen worktops with light contact paper. It worked well.
As a cheap fix for kitchen countertops is get contact. Here in Australia you can buy from hardware or cheap homewares shop marble or other designs look contact paper to cover old countertops.
Thank you! We’ve looked into it in the past but decided in this instance it wouldn’t be worth it so we will save up and change the kitchen at some point 😌 I’ve seen kitchens done with what you said though and it makes such a difference!

Such a beautiful and tranquil home! Have you come across those peel and stick vinyls thats you can use to cover countertops and furniture? Some fantastic small businesses in Etsy do them and it could be a cheap and easy intermediate fix for the dark granite counters, and could really brighten the kitchen. You can also get a tiled version to cover a backplash.

Thanks for sharing. Hope you are happy in your cosy house practical and tranquil home. Remove candles, incense and plants - they are toxic and harmful to yourselves and your pet son, Echo. Suggest a hop in litter box - practical, hygienic and saves money on the litter sand. Also buy LED strips - they are practical and really do reduce electricity costs; some come with remote controls or you can use a dimmer switch. You can glue the LED strips (come in different colours) onto a piece of painted or varnished wood and stick it on to the ceilings, beams, walls etc. Usually come with a guarantee. You can also buy some coloured materials or scarfs from ebay or 2nd hand charity shops and place them on your bed or cut out your old jumpers and sew them together and place them on your bed. No wastage. Many colours mix with white and cream.

Hello :) your home is beautiful but I was wondering how you're able to trust your cat to not burn itself on those candles or knock them over? I got a ragdoll kitten 1.5 years ago but I stopped using candles then incase he got too close without me seeing or knocked them over and sets my apartment on fire. My kitten is really curious and likes to knock things over on purpose (he doesn't do this as often anymore, only when he's having a tantrum)
He doesn't tend to go in any of the places with candles unless he's attention seeking or hungry, in which case we just play with him until he sleeps or feed him, haha! I never leave him unattended with any candles, even if i'm just nipping upstairs I always blow them out. I also don't tend to light them when he's in a playful mood, only usually in the afternoons when asleep (until about 8pm). He's not showed any interest in them so far which is a relief :)

Thanks for letting me know! I've been told this but have always had cats in my life and salt lamps but never had a problem. Keeping a close eye on him and will remove it if he shows any interest in it x
