      @@NoNeedGaragewhat if after moving the injector. It doesn’t change? And even after performing compression test ..all cylinder found to be okay….what is next?

      So a compression test is a bit of a broad test and doesn’t always show a smaller compression leak, a proper leak down test would be better suited
      We can chat further if you would like, Please email : noneedgarage@gmail.com

      @@efivegauthierchryslercanad3066 also another possibility could be the wiring to the specific cylinder, for either the injector or coil, or a possibility even an injector driver in the ecu depending on the car
      You would need to verify if the plug is actually creating spark, and if the injector is getting a proper pulse signal from the ecu (via a noid light)
      But as mentioned, email noneedgarage@gmail.com and we can chat further in detail about your issue

    I had an intermittent misfire on my '98 LeSabre 3800 engine under acceleration. No codes. Idled fine, ran down the road fine. Decided to look at the plugs. #4 plug had a crack along the porcelain portion of the plug causing occasional missfires. Didn't find the problem until I physically removed and inspected the plugs. So yes, it could be a plug problem.

    I've just been told to scrap my 2014 vauxhall Agila, 62k miles , had reg services , cylinder 2 missfire , they told me plugs and new coil pack still ain't cured it and they've gone on to say the engine needs stripping etc etc , I'm devvoed

      Did they do a leakdown test to determine what the problem is?

      Is it still running ok apart from that misfire? Vauxhalls are well known for this misfire. A lot of the times it’s the damn EGR valve especially since this crap E10 fuel. I’ve changed 3 on my Zafira since this stuff has been forced on us. Try giving it a clean or get another one. They’re simple to swap over, 2 bolts but they are a Torx head so be careful they’re not rusted up. For the sake of £20 it’s worth a try. Otherwise run it until it dies. Or then get a new engine. It’ll last much longer than any off these newer cheap, not built to last engines these days. Good luck.

    So previously the car blew the head gasket and the coolant was escaping into cylinder 2 but that's fixed but I also had a red hot catalytic converter, could this be fuel related

    I have 06 Chevy impala lt 3.5 and have a P0301 code and have changed everything (spark plugs, wires, coil pack, MAF sensor, and fuel injectors) still reading same code P0301 - blinking engine light and goes away when I drive. Any suggestions on what else it could be?

    My V.W. shows misfires on 2 and 4. Bought new plugs and coils cleared codes, came back 2 and 4. Changed coils to Bosch o.e.m. cleared codes, still 2 and 4. Compression test good, plugs and coils look good. I'm out of ideas.

      You need to check the Injectors. They might have got clogged. Just put a bottle of Injector cleaner in a full tank and drive the car or let the engine run idle

    Hey, I got a P0300 code on my 2009 Infiniti G37. my mechanic told me to install new spark plugs and which did (NGK iridium the best I could buy). AFter a week same P0300 code came back. Would i need to change all coils? because my code does not pin point like this video which cylinder is misfiring. Any help would be appreciated.

    misfire but throwing no codes on my 2013 hemi 5.7
    it started after i put some oreily brands fuel injector cleaner. matter of fact the drive after using the oreilys fuel injector threw a flashing check engine light while driving.
    and the misfires are random

    • @NoNeedGarage
      @NoNeedGarage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Sometimes the codes take a little time to pop up, But I’m personally not a fan of adding those shelf fuel treatments, If I want to service my injector, then I personally take them out and take them to a place who can clean/ flow test them to ensure they are matched and have a proper spray pattern

    • @NoNeedGarage
      @NoNeedGarage  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      So a p0300 is a random misfire
      Which is typically caused by something that affects all the cylinders, are there any other codes accompanying the p0300?
