Only time I've ever been to Ireland(from the US) had the pleasure to stay in lovely Dingle for a week. Great pints and amazing people. Need to visit again.
Guru, Merry Merry to you and Kat, Please don’t overlook that many of us are nowhere near Ireland and I love when you add great anecdotes to these historical pubs and maybe add more images of some of the decorative pieces each pub seems so proud of. March On!
Good man Darragh. Happy Xmas and good to see ur quickly recovered from the big C. One piece of constructive criticism would be that you seem to have gone away from given a reasoning as to why a pint is good e.g. taste, temp, no bitter, cream etc. I'm all into the taste and just be nice to hear when one has that creamy no bitter/salty aftertaste 👍 Happy new year and enjoy the Xmas.
Coincidence there's Depeche Mode "Just can't get enough" playing in the background in Foxy Johns? Aha, brilliant! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Guru!
Just was in Ireland for my wedding on the Cliffs of Moher. Stopped in Dingle for the last 3 days. Best pint I had hands down was at Hannie Agnes. Unbelievably old environment too. Would highly recommend going back and doing a video there. In my opinion was equivalent to Gravediggers and Bowes which I visited as well.
Merry Xmas to You & Kat. Thanks for the videos & the inspiration to visit these pubs in 🇮🇪 Love Guinness, love the content. Class !!! Here's to many more next year 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Nice one Darragh , added to the list of pubs for me to visit when I’m down in Kerry this summer! I’m a flow believer 😂 I’m yet to be convinced other wise !! Happy new year !!
You're a delight. Part hunk and a hint of Eejit. I live in Palm Springs California and my only good pint is O'Caines Irish pub in Rancho Mirage. They take care of the kegs and pouring is an art. We love you here.
Was in Dingle 3 days ago drinking lovely pints at Bob Griffins. A really good pub!! Had pints in Murphy's, Currans, Foxy Johns and Kruger's out in Ventry /Ballynaraha. They claim it is the most westerly pub in Europe. Really good pints of Guinness in Kruger's
Comment about "flow". There are three things that affect the taste of Guinness in this regard: 1) The makeup of the lines from the keg to the faucet. If the lines are standard pvc/vinyl lines, they can leach flavors into the pints sitting in the lines, and these style lines allow oxygen INTO the lines, which oxidize the beer. Length of lines from keg to faucet determine how many pints are affected. Lines like Ultra Barrier and the new "EVABarrier Double Wall Tubing" are made from products that DON'T leach, and do not allow oxygen INTO the lines. 2) Are the lines chilled to 5.5C from the keg to the faucet? If the lines are siting in ambient temperature, the beer will skunk. As previously mentioned, the amount of pints sitting warm in this situation could be one, or even more depending on how long the lines are. So the old timers are correct. If the Guinness wasn't flowing back then, you weren't getting a fresh pint. But these days? Diageo is involved in these pubs and likely have glycol keeping the lines chilled, and using the latest and greatest lines like the EVABarrier lines to keep their products in the best conditions possible in Ireland. 3) Cleanliness of the lines. Lines should be cleaned every 4 weeks or so. I can tell you NONE of the above mentioned things are followed in America, which is why all their pints taste like gobshite. I think that's fair to say about MOST pubs outside of Ireland as well.
The head on the 3rd pint needed to be just a few ml's thicker. Still looked great though. Great video, love Dingle for pints👍. I drink quick enough and agree: the shtick is not always there. The 4th pint could be put on an advertising billboard; perfect looking pint, exactly what you want 😊 Happy Christmas to all.
Visiting Dingle for the day, went foxy Johns on your recommendation and have to say, was not disappointed at all. Beautiful pint. Nectar of the God's:)
"All is forgiven, now that You're over the Covid B.S. Love You again. Dingle; Fished out of there for 4 yrs. Spiritual home, was there the night Dolly Parten was in Paudies and drank with the Man! Thanks for the Memories "!
A duirty joke, Daragh! First the cute hoor, now the louche comedian! I lived for 10 yr in your brilliant land, even crossed the Republic on my bicycle, but as yet -- fingers xed -- never made it along to Cork & The Dingle Tropics. All the best -- don't burn holes in your jumper!

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas, from Mike in Perth Australia, 109 degrees outside on Christmas day, Cheers!
What’s 109 degrees in normal temperatures 🤔
@@anfear9764 Probably 40. Disgusting heat and the place goes up in flames every year, and the gobshites continue to mine coal.
I have a mate living in Perth he said it was hot alright 🥵
43°C mate
Merry Christmas Mike
Merry Christmas big fella! Thanks for all the content, Sláinte lad

And you need an 80% nitrogen, 20% CO2 mix.

What fabric is that jacket made of lad? Absolute stunner.
Visiting Dingle for the day, went foxy Johns on your recommendation and have to say, was not disappointed at all. Beautiful pint. Nectar of the God's:)
Good man Darragh. Do you have some sort of spreadsheet you're keeping this on? Be a handy addition for Guinness lovers.
If your ever in Irvinestown Fermanagh you should visit the central bar mahons and mollys bar
You know Foxy Johns is the real deal when there is a woman sitting behind you, of a Monday evening, supping a pint of G.
Foxys best pint in Dingle, but Sears in Ballyferriter best I ever had.
Gasping for a creamer now, missing home watching these

It’s an Irish Aran jumper - sold all over Ireland
Was in Paidi’s a few weeks back. 8.4 probably a fair reflection maybe slightly higher. Was in Dick Mack’s also. Probably around the 8 mark.
Where is he from ?
I feel like anything from 4,20€ for a Beer in Germany is scam AF 😂
Some prices in Ireland are bonkers for me
4.50 is a typical west coast price.
I thought you were going to go to Dingle in Liverpool lol!
Merry Christmas lads
Aherns in old bawn just past the old mill 4.60 a pint and lovely cream
Dingle is a great spot, well worth a visit for any viewers that haven't been there 🍺
"All is forgiven, now that You're over the Covid B.S. Love You again. Dingle; Fished out of there for 4 yrs. Spiritual home, was there the night Dolly Parten was in Paudies and drank with the Man! Thanks for the Memories "!

Have a great Christmas
You can’t beat an open fireplace in a pub on a cold day
I was in Dingle a couple of weeks ago. The pints were abysmal everywhere apart from Paddy Bawn's. Very disappointing.
Ah not good i am going in January 😥
The real question you have to ask is why all the buses don’t go a stop by the hospital
I saw Dingle and thought he meant in Liverpool 🤣
Murphy's in Brandon. Best pint in the country
100%
Absolute class again. Love it son
I like my head a wee bit bigger, just above the harp is perfect
Go to James currans bar great Guinness great craic it features in the film , the Irish pub film 👍

That same pint will cost 5 euro in summer and 5.50 in some places. Pub prices are high in Dingle.
Foxy John's is class. "Guinness and a flat head there please." 🤣

You'll need to join me in Ibiza for a few pints of the black
"That mitch worse... Jesus am I locked after 1 pint?"
Dingle hits different ^^
Fish and chips AND 8 pints?! Strewth son.
"FUN fact, this pub was closed since 05 till 19 as the owner died"😅

Best pint I have ever had in my life in Bob's
Banged my head on the low door and spilled two pints in Bob Griffins the last time I was there!
