I just opened my box, and luckily mine came with two packs of bolts and gaskets. Kinda stange because now I have the right amount of gaskets but twice as many bolts and nuts as i need. 😅
Hey man, I hope it’s not too late to where you will still see this. I just installed these on my car and i’m getting check a engine light with a code reading about cat converter system bank 2 below efficiency threshold. I just want to see if this is normal or if I may have installed something incorrectly.
I'm new to turbo cars, but how would this have any effect on that? Itsn't the secondary downpipe after the turbo? I could see it effecting back pressure but idrk anything about that.
That sounds awesome! Def gonna use that kit when I get my genesis. Do you know what blow off valves they have installed? I love the sound. Gonna pair it with the hps intakes
Got a question, put these on mine 4 months and 2.5k ish miles ago. I have JB4, Lozic TCU, cold air intakes and the Burger oil catch currently, looked under mine today and noticed some carbon around the flanges where the Arks meet the factory towards the rear leading to the mufflers. I installed with provided gaskets and checked the bolts again today and they’re all tight. Sent a JB4 log to Burger and they said everything looks good… carbon never seems good to me. Your thoughts? Thank you.
You're good man, I had DC sports mids on my stinger and noticed the same thing, the car and logs still ran good. Not everything is going to be a perfect seal. As long as you dont hear the exhaust sucked get loud (exhaust leak) then you're good
They’re the same thing lol. O2 housing or primary cat deletes are the same thing Downpipes or secondary cat deletes are the same thing. Sometimes downpipes have cats sometimes they don’t. Just depends on year make model of vehicle
Do hope you realize that putting blow off valves or removing them to get that sounds is extremely dangerous for your turbos and engine long term. That's the type of mod you put on a beater cheap sports car bc you don't care about ramifications and just want a cool sound. Playing with fire my man
Those are blow off valves buddy lol. Been on this customers car for almost a year already I believe. Turbo flutter is bad for any Jb or stock turbo. Venting to atomsphere is proper. With bb turbos you don’t have to worry as much since they can handle the extra abuse. My genesis coupe has had 0 bov for over a year on a 6466. 0 issues with it. But when I see customers remove the oem bov or bypass it, the stock turbos don’t last long at all.

Man why us the turbo so loud or whatever that whistle is

should be fine, cat less downpipes throw codes unless you get an extension for O2 sensor
Did you notice any improved turbo spool? The stock cats are hella restrictive causing the turbos to spool slow

@@loganjasso2982 after owning 2 different 3.3's in the last few months it's mainly just for sound bro.
@demetriusjohnson4231, so for tuning, they recommended downpipe. Not sure if it really needed if it gives just sounds

I believe those are cat delete pipes.. Down pipes bolt right to the back of the turbo..

Sometimes downpipes have cats sometimes they don’t. Just depends on year make model of vehicle
This car has 2 traditional cats on the main downpipes then the cat on the secondary

Bov is fine for this car as it doesn't use MAF sensors so you don't need to recirculate
is this guy for real.....🤣🤣🤣
