K5HLB!! Chasing BNSF 8025 with Insane Echoes on the Aurora Sub

I saw that 8025 was leading a Q-PTLCHC on the East Dubuque cam this morning, so I ventured out to Lee to get him. It took a little while to get there, and while I was waiting, a thunderstorm came through. While it wasn't too bad, I think there may have be some slight debris on the tracks, and he ended up crawling through Lee.
Not too pleased with the shot, I jumped ahead to Shabbona, where I figured he'd be picking up speed again, and if possible I would chase to Waterman. I purposely set up in a spot where the horn would be honking behind a building, and HOLY Jesus, did this provide some nutty echoes! I then gave chase through town and got some more good echoes, and then I got a full speed runby in Waterman. Very glad I made the choice to go to Shabbona, because those echoes gave me legit goosebumps. I put the Lee shot at the end of the video, because I wanted to lead with the Shabbona shot since it came out way better.
Pro tip if you want to get good echoes and don't care too much how the shot looks, set up behind buildings. The sound comes out way better than if you're in the open, and lately I've preferring these type of shots when going for good horns.

Hi Tommy, which Raised Letter K5HLB locomotive do you like best?
A. BNSF 8025
B. CN 3183
CN 3183 has a 2-piece 1L Raised Letter K5HLB with NF #4 that sounds like an RS5T, but I will take any K5HLB there is available to listen to. Factory sharp NF #4 bells were usually seen and heard on BCRail locomotives equipped with Narrow Font K5Ls made before 2003, like the video of BCRail 4645 that you caught in April 2017, making a very nice and perfect sound.
If there was a 1-piece 1L Raised Letter K5HLB that has a NF #4 (not NF2 #4), which the 1L plays C, and the NF #4 plays C#, will that still sound like an RS5T, because NF #4 bells made before 2003 comes sharp from the factory? So far, there is only a 2-piece 1L version of the NF #4 Raised Letter K5HLB horn on CN 3183, which is something at least. Hopefully, more Class 1 Railroad locomotives get those RS5T-Tuned Raised Letter K5HLB horns in the future for you and everyone to listen to on video.

Just be glad you do what I did two years ago and passed a train with a K5HLB and didn't realize it until hours later.
