We put a 2" memory foam over the top and it is pretty comfortable. It is more comfortable than an older CVT and a 2018 Roof Nest. Our 2019 James Baroud had a more comfortable mattress but we like the CVT more. We really like this combo. It is very easy to set up and tear down. We run with people that have canvas tents and we are eating dinner before they finish getting the tent prepped. It is also nice to be able to store the bedding in the tent. Cons? Awning is a little heavy and bulky. The latches are difficult to work for one person on the tent because you have to hold the tent down while trying to pinch the fastener open and feed the strap into it.
Is the mattress comfortable? What are pro’s and cons of this set up? I’m looking to do the same and would love feedback first.
