I know a lot of you are going to be mad to see Wantable is back lol but I am keeping it for just a bit because I made some changes to my subscription that I am very interested in seeing how it turns out! Let me know what you guys think about these boxes! I truly thought the difference was crazy! The price, the pieces, and the styles were all so different! What was your favorite or least favorite?! Love ya💖
That gray T-shirt is made well. I could’ve it has stitching in the seams. That means after they stitched the seam they flattened the seam and stitched it down again. It’s well made in that they wont come undone easily. The cross cross is an extra detail the dresses it up so you can use it with slacks or a fits skirt. Add a gold short neckless and earrings would make it really dressy or wear it with jeans and go for groceries. PSYou may want to get a gold or sober necklace that can be seen from far away. Not chunky but for it to be seen as the outfit and to dress it up.
Maybe you could try Nadine West and compare it to Wantable. I feel like the quality and styles would be pretty similar but Nadine West would be drastically cheaper.
Oh my goodness I totally adore you but you are exhausting sometimes holy cows how do you have the energy lol I don’t know but I really think that off the shoulder white sweater at the beginning was really cute and so was the white pants, just add some heels to the white pants for going out and date night it’s cute. Also don’t knock cotton, cotton is a lot different than it used to be, it doesn’t shrink like it used to unless it’s cheaply made then you never know but it’s breathable and it’s hard to find anymore. You know cotton is the fabric of our life! Lol also dark jeans are a lot more slimming just like black pants would be, I always go for dark jeans because of that.
I either I had known about your code, I had gotten a scentbird last month. I had to cancel because of $ issues, but maybe I can sign up under my husband's name using your link, $8 is affordable and I'd love to help support you.
You should do a head to head competition with a very specific request (I.e. picnic, dinner date, etc) given to both companies to see how they style the same request.
Alexandria, I love the content! I’m a huge fan. I also work for StitchFix as a stylist and I’m not quite sure why your Fixes have not been personalized better. If you want to request me to be your stylist, I can better assist you in getting boxes that you will love. You can write in your notes when you request a Fix that you would like Hannah Smitherman to be your stylist. Just an fyi! Love the videos as always. 💕
I've been getting StitchFix for 2 months. I fractured my femur and desperately needed clothes that were comfy and crutch/leg brace friendly. My stylist has been so helpful and asks about my recovery in each shipment. I really like the personal touch. 🥰
I looked into Wantable after about a year and half of recieving Stitch Fix. I found that they were alot more frumpy and just plane blah compared to Stitch Fix. I say this as a 45 year old woman. I don't know why anyone younger than me would like their box.
I know it would probably be expensive but I think it would be so much fun if you made a second profile for wantable that's all adventurous and just see what they send you.
Well actually im so fed up with the boring clothes they send I want to see if they even offer anything else so I completely changed my profile! We will see what I get next time!
@@Alexandria-Ryan side note, Grandma's antique white bed quilt with all those little balls on it. That's what that white skirt reminded me of. And my grandmother actually had one. And she always had it on the guest bed and it probably was about 80 or 100 years old.

I feel like them having their own brand undermines the box completely, how frustrating. But as always, your wonderful personality makes all this crap so watchable!

This. The way I look at it Wantable is like a curator at a museum. I don’t want to buy his artwork I want to buy the artwork from the artists that he represents.
I quit Wantable months ago because everything was very Old Navy or Walmart with a Nordstrom price tag. Stitch Fix has been sending good boxes lately and they are more affordable for better quality. Also, you are amazingly adorable! Never stop making videos.... Unless it starts making you miserable.
You're like the ONLY one who does unboxings like this that will admit when something is overpriced. So many channels will be like "oh these shorts are $58, what a steal :)". Like bestie i'd love to have money to burn like that but I'm livin' on Target Bucks.
I've had Stitch Fix now for a few years and at least for the men's stuff they seem to listen and give me really nice things, that generally fit my style. The quality is also good with them, good fabrics that really last through washing and wearing frequently. I also love scentbird. I hate big bottles of things I never finish and i'm all over the place with scents, so something different every month I can toss in a drawer and use, I'm in!
Same, the items I get in my stitch fix are always pretty on point style wise for me. They have some trouble with sizing occasionally but I'm very short and my arms aren't long either so I expect some sizing issues since I have the same issues in stores.
The interesting thing about these subscriptions is the concept of “sunk-cost bias”. For example, a buyer will frequently purchase a piece at a price that they would never otherwise purchase just so they “don’t lose” the styling fee. This of course makes no sense because the markup assumes that you could spend that fee on any of the clothes and they could still profit. All this to say, I brought this up in my intro to Econ class and we had a very good discussion so at least something interesting came of the tee shirts.
Ohhhh you should do the “can I shop it myself for less” comparison with the wantable stuff. Then compare the prices, kinda like what you do with the home decor boxes.
I love my stitchfix subscription but it took a while for my stylist to pinpoint my style. You have to make sure you rate the items honestly and give the feedback on sizing with every box. If you don't give the feedback, they have nothing to go off of. I do agree that the prices are too expensive though compared to what I typically spend at target or tjmaxx.
The wantable stuff is actually 100% my summer style: comfortable and casual! That being said, I get my Jean shorts and t-shirts at Target for a MUCH lower price. The stitch fix was just so random!
The reason you’re receiving the same kinds of things is because you’re “buying” each box. So there’s the assumption you like the things you are receiving. With stitch fix, if you go in and tell them what you think of each item it helps w your future box. I love every box I get! It took two boxes to get to that point. They send me things I like and that fit my style. I don’t get exercise clothes, shoes or jewelry. All clothes that I love and wear. As far as wantable I know nothing and I don’t like what you have received. Also no not all tshirts are comfortable. Fabric does make a difference. I have a drawer full of uncomfy tees. They are too uncomfortable to donate. The dress was SO darling on you! As was the skirt! ❤️
the ONLY thing with me and boxes like these are: I'm SUPER cheap! I LOVE finding stuff at T. J. Maxx or Marshalls on the clearance rack and having a box like this where stuff is more than 20 bucks each terrifies me! What if I forget to cancel my subscription or what if I just put the box somewhere and the date to send it back comes and goes and I'm stuck with EXPENSIVE stuff that I don't want? ALSO having Wantable items in their own boxes just makes me super iffy, like they are trying to take over the subscription. I want a box like that because I DON'T normally try those brands out, so having most if not all of the box be their own brand just makes me think they are trying to shove other brands aside.
Of all of the items presented, I think the sundress was the best one. All of the T-shirts looked like something you could get at TJ Maxx or other discount stores. The prices for the shorts is absolutely ridiculous. I like the idea of changing up your profile just to see what they would send!
Okay, I get what Wantable's business plan is: They bore you into a coma by sending you a box of cheap plain t-shirts and jean shorts, then they get to charge you for the full box because you couldn't send anything back.
Haha I'm honestly shocked at how bad these boxes are.. you're absolutely right, there is no "styling service" involved. I'm picturing them just throwing random items into a box.
Modal/ Tencel/ Viscose/ Rayon/ Lyocell are made from wood pulp, it can be bamboo but not all of them are bamboo, though they are plant base they are not really natural fibre due to heavy processing, but they are usually very very comfy.
Modal is a fabulous fabric! Like an upgrade to cotton. It feels softer, won't lose it's shape and is less likely to pill 🥰 Only about a fifth of the way through the video, so can't wait for the ridiculous price tags 🤣
That skirt would be sooooo cute for a bridal shower or rehearsal dinner!!! 🤍 also love the dress on you! So cute with a Jean jacket for fall with those tones of florals
I know this will probably go unseen but the first aid beauty kp bump eraser scrub did absolute wonders on my underarms. I would say 80% of my texture went away after a handful of uses
I havent seen you try it on yet but iactually really like the blue floral dress in the stitch fix box ! thats the first thing in either of these boxes that i actually though was cute 😂
I have no idea what it is…..but you looked SO good in that black T-shirt from wantable. Literally no idea what made it stand out, because it absolutely is just a t-shirt. But you made it look AMAZING.
Re: the popcorn crocheted skirt and the throwback vibe you got from it - Retro is right. I had a top made from the same kind of popcorn crochet, made by Mary Quant. In 1966 (yes, I’m old). That said, the skirt would be cute in a smaller size.
I’ve been a life long sufferer of KP (arms and legs) and nothing worked until I tried the Tula KP scrub.. that stuff is magic- cleared all my KP up. I used it 2x a week to keep the KP away… maybe it’ll work for you too? Worth a try 🤷♀️
Ooh, I'll have to give that a try! Mine has gotten better as I've gotten older but is definitely still there, so it would be really nice to find something that actually helps
@@shaunacorrigan9372 Tula makes a scrub and exfoliating wipes and both work really well.. but I liked the scrub better. It was a little more gentle for my sensitive skin than the wipes.
Fabric of that white skirt reminded me of one of my late grandma's dressing gowns. It was pink, floor length, little fabric covered buttons and a lace trimmed collar.
I’ve figured out that when someone sends something back, and then the company sends it to another person, they put another sticker on it that is a barcode tied to your profile. I’ve gotten stuff from Nadine west with like 9 stickers on it lol
Stitch fix hands down won the battle of the styling boxes based on both price and intersting pieces. The white top in the wantable box is cute and would look great layered over a cami with jeans or the dress from the stitch fix box.
Unrelated, but I feel like it’d be fun to do a bark box review, it’d be cute because you could include your doggies. I’ve always wanted to try barkbox but idk if it would be worth it
I know that fabric is giving me 60s/70s fashun vibes, I can't place it either.. not quit a chenille... Pedal pushers in summer - so the skeeters have easy access 😬
Hi Alexandria, just got my latest UK Stitch fix and have very mixed views. Keeping white and navy t shirt style top. Yes, they get I like stripes. Keeping blue sweat bottoms, reasonably priced and a wardrobe staple. Other items, well, hideous green sweatshirt. I like a bright/vibrant colour but this is nasal bogie green, yuk! Then I got a racer back gym top, I like gym gear but racer back will not help my top heavy figure. Last but not least a pair of plain white lace up gym shoes, they would cost £5-10 at most but these cost £57!! Think this will be my last Stitch Fix as they are giving me things I already like, but are way off on giving me new ideas.
i love your references!! I’m so happy i’m not the only person around my age that watched/watches Giligans Isand!! hope to see some wedding planning. and maybe a store tour soon??
The dress from StitchFix is really cute on you. When I moved to AZ I got over the upper arm KP issue because it was so darn hot. Now my bat wings fly and I feel cooler.
Omg you should recreate one of these boxes by going to like TJ-Maxx or Marshalls and compare a month with one of these boxes!!! That would be so cool! See how much money you could save with something you would actually wear.
I had stitch fix for a few years and while I liked most of it and got a lot of good items, I really wanted whole outfits put together. Like a top, pants, shoes, and an accessory for example. I can pick my own random pieces but I wanted more help with like a full outfit. So I eventually cancelled bc I had enough and wasn’t getting what I needed.
I burst out laughing at the Octopus gift shop comment. LOL As a plus size woman, I can get random tshirts from an online store for less than $15. So $40+ for a tshirt, even one with strings, is too much. Send that Wantable stuff back. Now the skirt and dress from Stitch fix looked great on you.
I know you won’t believe me but I think you look freaking awesome in the vintagey tank and shorts! I think you should try and get the guns out more often! ❤️
To me it seemed like Wantable understood her type of style. In her last Wantable video she said she liked darker stuff and comfy stuff. That's what they gave her. Stitch Fix was a hot mess and not one complete outfit! Agree on the pricing though, woof!
Ditch the Wantable subscription! Love the dress and skirt! Gilligan was a favorite of mine, growing up. You are a hoot! Made my day so much better, watching this!! Thanks!

The 1962 Good Vibes tank is your tubing at the river with a six pack of PBR ensemble.
I have no idea what it is…..but you looked SO good in that black T-shirt from wantable. Literally no idea what made it stand out, because it absolutely is just a t-shirt. But you made it look AMAZING.
Your hair and skin look SO good here! Love watching you be honest about these boxes!
That dress is adorable on you. Would be super cute in fall with a little jacket. Awwww
I dont know when I've laughed more during one of your videos. The "gun show" was priceless!!!💜
I am proud of you for being bluntly honest about Wantable. When it's bad, it needs to be called bad.
For the Nike shirt, I live right next to Myrtle beach and you are not wrong. When you said Myrtle Beach, it through me off for a second lol
I’ve figured out that when someone sends something back, and then the company sends it to another person, they put another sticker on it that is a barcode tied to your profile. I’ve gotten stuff from Nadine west with like 9 stickers on it lol
Girl that gun show was terrific, rock those arms!!! 💖
I love the Stitch fix floral dress! But yea both boxes are uh...well not nicely put together!! 😆
I own the Navy stitch fix dress and love it!
You are such an under rated comedian. You are so funny and honest
Stitch fix hands down won the battle of the styling boxes based on both price and intersting pieces. The white top in the wantable box is cute and would look great layered over a cami with jeans or the dress from the stitch fix box.
Girl, i spit out my coffee laughing when you did the gun show..the music just made it chefs kiss. Thanks for sharing!!
That white skirt looks like a tablecloth that my Nana had when I was growing up. It's totally vintage tablecloth
Haha love you modelling them with the gestures and the faces. Hilarious 😂😂
That white skirt reminds me of those bubble/popcorn shirts from the 90s that were super small but expanded!
I think the off the shoulder white top is super cute on you! So was the dress; very flattering😊 DEFINITELY buy the white skirt!
Girl I needed a video from you so bad you have no idea. Thank you
Omg you should recreate one of these boxes by going to like TJ-Maxx or Marshalls and compare a month with one of these boxes!!! That would be so cool! See how much money you could save with something you would actually wear.
They definitlet have every item or similar items to wantable at walmat for likwe 12 and under
Alexandra I just want to say that you look amazing these days! You look happy and healthy and gorgeous 🥰
I remember Gilligan and also loved that show
You can 100% get democracy jeans and shorts at TJ Maxx for $12.99. I have several pairs because I love the belly band lol
I agree, I would never pay the price they ask for tees shorts and jeans. Sometimes a dress or jumpsuit will arrive at a decent price
That blue Nike shirt reminds me so much of the "Team Pup-n-Suds" shirts from _Brink!_ (the DCOM).
Omg YES!
Now I'm gonna make my kids watch Brink! with me
That navy floral dress would look really cute would a chiffon shrug or bolero. 😍
The modelling sections get a 10/10
The intro is what my mother would wear. Like straight up I think she has that same shirt. Ok my mom would wear all of this. Without the tank tops.
I think most mothers have that shirt lol
@@Alexandria-Ryan honestly yes.
The stitch fix dress with a light wash denim jacket would be so cute!!!
Omg I just did my makeup and it’s coming off because I am CRYING 😂😂😂
YOUR HAIR LOOKS SO THICK!!!! I’m so happy for you!!!!!! 🤩
I love you! What camera do you use?! 😊
I know you won’t believe me but I think you look freaking awesome in the vintagey tank and shorts! I think you should try and get the guns out more often! ❤️
The side shoulder white shirt reminds me of Flash 🕺🏻 💃 🪩 dance!!
To me it seemed like Wantable understood her type of style. In her last Wantable video she said she liked darker stuff and comfy stuff. That's what they gave her. Stitch Fix was a hot mess and not one complete outfit! Agree on the pricing though, woof!
My dad has that Nike shirt but instead on the pink and orange in the surf board, it has grey and brown. 😂
Ditch the Wantable subscription!
Love the dress and skirt!
Gilligan was a favorite of mine, growing up.
You are a hoot! Made my day so much better, watching this!! Thanks!
