  • FOR YOUR SITUATIONAL AWARENESS
    The Wright Brothers exam does not cover the Aerospace Dimensions modules, but I highly recommend reviewing the material that you have taken. The milestone test does cover leadership, drill, and fitness. For later milestone exams, there is an aerospace portion!
    Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! Due to the high demand for the learn to lead videos, I decided to create an exam preparation video.
    If you are interested in learning about CAP or are pursuing the first achievement, then this video will be very helpful for you! A copy of module 1 can be found here►►www.ctwg.cap.gov/aerospace/Aer...
    Additional study resources:

    I have a question, If you fail the wright brothers milestone test and redo it, are the questions gonna be the same as the first one? I was super close to passing on my first one, and I know which one I got wrong so I don't want to study over another 150 terms if the questions are gonna be the same as the first time.
    If you don't understand what I'm trying to ask, basically, are the questions the same every time you take the milestone test, like after you fail it.
    Hope this makes sense, thanks!

    • @Redberryweo
      @Redberryweo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a large test question bank the system pulls from, and it randomly gives you different questions every time. While the questions will be different, you might see recurring themes of questions you have seen before. For example, you might see various questions about the American Flag and etiquette associated with it in different settings.

  • @conqex600
    @conqex600 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I took the test recently and failed I read the book didn’t really study it tho I mainly focused on quizlets if you know what those are and I failed because the quizlets really had nothing to do with the test like for example warrior spirit it was never really mentioned on the test I’m just wondering is there any other ways your recommend that would make it easier to pass?

    • @Redberryweo
      @Redberryweo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not recommend using Quizlets. For me personally, I best retained information learned in school and from the CAP curriculum through writing things down with pen and paper. When I did Quizlets, I would just recognize the correct answers without knowing the "why"/ the theory behind everything. To strongly ensure my understanding in both high school and college, writing my notes in a notebook and being meticulous with organizing my notes really helped bolster my success.
      For the CAP tests, take a look at the objectives at the beginning of the chapter. Ask yourself if you can address each of those objectives. One of the challenges with CAP tests is that they can pull any sentence from the book, remove one word, and ask you to fill in the blank. If you use the SQ3R technique (Survey, Question, Read, Recall, Review), this might be the most productive technique for you. Everyone learns differently, so try different methods and see what sticks! You can do this :)

      It depends on how much you are personally prepared. I’ve seen some cadets pass on their first attempt, and others I have seen take six attempts.

    You mention going over your past tests and making sure you know the answers to the questions that we missed. How do we access those tests? Thanks!

    • @Redberryweo
      @Redberryweo  ปีที่แล้ว

      In the Learning Management system (AXIS), you should be able to go back and review previous chapters. I personally don't have access to the cadet side, but try looking through the different tabs in AXIS and scroll through. I know there is a way to access previous materials, as cadet members can go back to do them to receive honor credit.

    • @Redberryweo
      @Redberryweo  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I recommend practicing using the leadership tests and not just the interactive modules! I have observed some cadets that only do the interactive modules don’t retain the information and can fail their Wright Brothers test multiple times.

    Can this test be taken at home?

    • @Redberryweo
      @Redberryweo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      All milestone tests must be proctored by a senior member testing officer. During COVID-19 lockdowns, many cadets were taking the test virtually with screen sharing to a testing officer and a parent or another senior member present. At this time, most milestone tests are being done in-person because of senior member testing officer availability to proctor.
