We spent two weeks travelling all over the UK on our honeymoon and the day we climbed Catbells was absolutely the highlight of the trip. Hope I can go back one day and do more lake walks! ♡
Did the climb two weeks ago but we walked from Keswick and back again. I found the climb quite tough - but I am a bit old.

Fantastic. I did it the opposite though and finished with the ferry !
Catbells is a nice walk to blow the cobwebs away after just arriving in Keswick. I always enjoy this simple leg stretch before moving on to some of the Lake's more challenging walks.

Thanks for a fantastic introduction to catbells. Can you share the point where you turned off to start DOWN this hill from the summit? Did you climb “both” summits? Trying to decide if we can try this in our trainers (not hiking shoes)
