Thank you for your video. I have a peugeot 207 1.4 vti with codes P0011 and P1338. I changed the spark plugs, cleaned both solenoids and switched them. It didnt solve the issue but P0011 (solenoid inlet) code became P0014 (solenoid exhaust). Can the solenoid on the exhaust side be faulty and cause the problem? The engine has no power and is rattling
Hey mate Sometime when you switch the solenoids the fault does switch but it could not be the problem with the solenoid. I recommend to replace all injectors.
Hey there i got Peugeot 308T9 2014, having misfires and low compression 40 psi in only cylinder no 3, i only changed the spark plug but no different, 1 mechanic said its electric fault and 2nd one said repair or replace the engine i need your advise please shall i change all the injector to give a try ?? Hey mate, you should change the ignition coil on cylinder 3 or swap it out with another coil on cylinders 1 or 2 and check the scanner if the misfires changed to the new cylinder. Then if problem not solved, check the injector on cylinder 3 or if you can swap them out all three it would be better. Lastly before replacing the engine, you could have a bent valves on cylinder 3 or could be the timing chain.
Mines just popped up P1340 and P0087 fuel rail pressure low and misfire cylinder 4 so Im assuming that injector 4 is leaking fuel into the cylinder and causing misfire ( all at low rpm cold start )
@@goprodoit actually the other day driving along and it ran rough and did all the codes for the injectors apart from P1340 . Im wondering if peugeot is playing games , I have a small leak of brake fluid and the computer though a code but Ive topped it off and all is working well again , but now and again the car refuses to start for 10 mins ( without any codes) and when it does start it throws up all the codes for brake failure . Im going to do a flush and new pads in a day or two but I think it could be peugeots way of forcing you to the dealer .. maybe throw some engine codes so you have to go . only done 66000 KM 2012 japanese import . Ive also put in some injector cleaner hoping it might lube the HPFP

Hi great video, I have a similar issue on my partner, cylinder 2 misfire. We changed injectors, sparks etc, brand new motor, but p1338 cylinder 3 keeps on coming. Motors runs on 3 legs after 30 sec. Could it be the bar it self at cause? That's the only thing we didn't change in the injection system. What do you think? Thank you so much sir

@@nevzatkayhan5278 hey mate, did you change all spark plugs? You said you changed the coils? I recommend changing the spark plugs all of them, and then for the coils, swap them or replace them. If you are still having the misfire problem I believe you need to replace all injectors and get good ones.

Hi. I've got the p1340 fault code on my citroen c4 picasso 1.6 vti (combustion misfiring on cylinder 4). I've swapped the injectors from my mini cooper r56 to the citroen, and still the same error code and the same cylinder misfiring. The ones that I've put on the mini from the citroen work perfectly. Then I've replaced the coils, then the spark plugs (3 times), then the vanos solenoids (new), then swapped the cams sensors from my mini, then a new coolant temp sensor, the timing chain, new fuel pump, new upstream o2 sensor, and i still get the same code, and it's running rich because every time I check the spark plugs, they're black. If i start the car and keep it revd up or i drive it straight away, the engine works perfectly. No misfiring, no error code. But if i start the car and leave it idling, in about 15 seconds it's misfiring, the radiator fan kicks in at full blast, and it triggers the error code again. I don't know what the f to change anymore.
Hey mate. It is hard I get you, I have done the same process but at the end swapped out all injectors including the channel. Could you plug a pressure gage in cylinder 4 and check the pressure reading when trying to start the car? Do the same on cylinder 3 and compare the readings. I don't know if you might have bent valves and is causing the problem. Check this cheers mate! Also if you could get a whole channel including injectors (wrecking parts) and be aware of the injectors head colours to match with the ones you had originally on your Citroen.
@goprodoit the compression is the same on all cylinders. I think it's the camshaft variator sprockets. If i start the engine and drive the car straight away, the engine runs fine at higher rpm, and it doesn't trigger any fault codes. If I leave the engine to idle, it misfires and in 10-15 seconds it triggers the p1340 fault code. It was the same with the old injectors as well.
@goprodoit I've swapped the sprockets from the Mini to the Citroen, and the other way around, and unfortunately no joy. The Mini runs perfectly with the Citroen sprockets, but the Citroen doesn't. So at this point I've almost swapped the entire engine from the Mini to the Citroen and still the same problem. It must be a software glitch. I've used the proper Peugeot Citroen diagnosis to check the entire car. The fault code is being triggered only when idling. I'm going to have to sell it as spares or repairs. @@razvanursache9493Mate that is so unusual but you know misfire on Cyl 4 is always related to the injectors. I had the same problem and nearly swapped everything and was going to replace the whole engine at the end until I got a whole new set of injectors including the channel and that solved the problem. The weird thing is that I swapped out the injector on cyl 4 and still got the misfire on the same cyl. If you wanna give it one more try, I would get a whole new set (incl the channel) and swap the whole thing…
You need to connect it to a scanner and check exactly what would be the fault. However, if it is not losing power then it is not serious, could be a coil
@@ikossap847 I mean if it is running with full power now then no need to rush. It might be a combustion misfire due to fuel quality and it might go away. If not then consider to connect it to a scanner when power goes down

I watched your entire video, I did it all except the injector, it didn't happen, the 4 cu coil does not work, but there is ignition. 3 of the motor bobbins are working 4 when I pull the dunth there is no reaction respects

Sometime when you switch the solenoids the fault does switch but it could not be the problem with the solenoid.
I recommend to replace all injectors.

So turned out to be the injector rail.? On cylinder 4

I recommend changing the spark plugs all of them, and then for the coils, swap them or replace them. If you are still having the misfire problem I believe you need to replace all injectors and get good ones.

The weird thing is that I swapped out the injector on cyl 4 and still got the misfire on the same cyl.
