How do we know we won't SP within surge? Doesn't that depend on tuning? If splinter, splinterstorm and arcane echo is tuned well it might be worth?

Hm its sounds like more passiv Damage...so not bad i think. I think more abilities will be cool but....mage has enough spells... for example as Arcan you dont use frostbolt (for example) With trinket and flasks i got 5 bars full of items and spells xDD

I kinda wished splinterstorm would be an active ability...in a sense that you could just detonate the mobs. Also the barrier is a bit overrated - in m+, you generally cast barrier before big inc damage, this rather promotes to use it reactively than proactively which is wrong in my opinion. But sure, in scenarios where there is a pulsing damage, shield like that would be so cool, especially if it's on mass barrier too

can you explain Accumulative Shielding ? i see same cooldown with or without it ,,, 25 sec for single shield and 2min for mass shield,,, the cd not change when it on or off

Hi, regarding the splinters contributing to Radiant spark. I dont think the splinters will count towards Radiant spark stacks. Augury Abounds is the talent that seems to point towards the aforementioned point. "Arcane surge conjured 8 splinters" Surge would consume all Radiant spark stacks then. Or like you said, we cant play Radiant spark with Spellslinger.

Hello, I read the description for Spell Queue. But I still don't understand the reasoning behind it. I tried Spell Queueing Arcane Surge > Arcane Barrage on a dummy and again without Spell Queueing (stopping briefly). I don't see any difference.. Can you please elaborate?

Do you wait for balefire branch to come back up before sending arcane surge or just send surge with branch because when there’s like zero downtime between burn phases most the time there’s still like 8 seconds or so left before you can pop trinket. I’m also using a macro to to use mana gem pot trinket and cast barrage but ever since 10.2.5 it’s like my macro is broken and only works half the time which is extremely frustrating. Are you just using trinket/pot/ mana gem after surge on a separate keybind or how do you manage that? Hope you can reply thank you

Do you use a marco that makes AB and Magi send at correct times? Everytime I try a cast sequence or just simple /cast it never works.. the magi casts first then the AB sends. Keep up the great vids

Hey man amazing job! Was wondering what about the fight led you to do a pure burn opener instead of filling til ~17s on the Siphon Storm buff?

Is nether tempest powerful enough to keep uptime on? Or is it just used to benefit the burn phase ToM damage? Because I notice in the opener you cast it immediately after the double timewarp.

ive been looking at logs of top mages, and pretty much all of them skip the AB burn at the start and go right into big burn with RS into AS. is there new info that makes this more optimal?

Hi, im a new arcane mage player. Just wanna ask on your ST rotation, for the AS and mini burn phases, why do we only cast AB once? Aren’t we suppose to use it every 4 arcane charges?
