Danielle, I am trying to decide about doing my monthly menu on those monthly inserts like you used to (I've been thinking about it for several weeks). My goal is to have a monthly rotating menu. I did a 2 week one in the spring before M was born and loved it (except we did get tired of it) but I want to do monthly.....shop weekly for produce. I eventually want to have a winter, spring/fall, and summer menu plan that rotates. That's my end goal in all of this.
I did a monthly meal plan and shopped monthly when we lived in Oregon... Bought milk, eggs and produce weekly as needed. I sometimes think about going back to that method, but it just hasn’t happened yet. Maybe the list inserts will help build a database of sorts??
I just bought the updated Paprika app for the CPU and my phone. It does that too...so I will probably try there first.....if I can't get that to work for me, I'll go to paper, I'm sure! There is a lot of functionality on the app that I love....but I do have a thing for paper.
