    It’s so refreshing to see someone who actually favors functionality over decoration when it comes to planners. I love this video. It’s full of ideas. It seems you can fit way more into your planner in terms of functional inserts when you don’t have dashboards and vellum and project life cards as every other page.

    Just in case someone hasn't commented about this yet; I have the same Filofax planner. Tuck the strap under the back cover! I saw this tip on another video and it changed my life!

    I was hoping you would make this video! You're methods for planning have helped me enormously. Thank you for all of your tips. :)

    Thank you for this video. It came in at just the right time. I’m sitting down with my planner today and I’ve been thinking of ways to make it even more functional for me. I even thought about sending you a message to ask you to make a video showing your process to set up your planner for the year!! You are an excellent functional planner, so I’ve gotten many ideas from your videos - but this one is just perfect for me today! I started using your zone cleaning charts in October and they are so helpful! I also use your idea about having a weekly To Do list in the middle of your weekly pages. I struggled so much with that - going back and forth between a weekly format (not enough room for my To Do list plus I can’t always get something done on a specific day) and a daily format (write a list of 20 things, get 5 done, transfer fifteen to the next day, add three more, get four done, write 14 items on the next page...) is exhausting and I give up. But a removable To Do list in the middle of my weekly pages - genius! Again - thank you and keep making these and your FlyLady videos - so inspirational!!

      Kathie, i hear ya girl! when that happens to me i simply write, check off & add more to-do's, to ONE list on ONE sheet of paper, and simply change the day/date at the top of the page! someone on youtube gave me that idea and it really works when theres too many todo's. 👍😉

    Thanks for the great video! I use the same Filo Fax and it works great for everything! I use it as a wallet also, the zippered part for my coins. You are so organized and inspiring. Thank you!

    I bought that same filo fax when I ordered your papers on etsy a few months back. I use it as a wallet and I can put my cell in it and snap it closed too for cast runs to the store. I love it!

    Thank you for the flip through, Amy! There are some great budgeting ideas in here that I will likely incorporate into my bullet journal! I've been really wanting to get more of a handle on spending, so I hope those spreads will help!

    I use the same planner as a wallet and I’ve started sliding my iPhone into the back pocket where a pad of paper can go. Works great!
    Thanks for your videos and great ideas!

      I found out your phone case has to have a little grab on it though. I had mine in a slick acrylic case and it slid right out onto a tile floor 😳. It was fine though and I just replaced the case with a slim case with a little grab on it. Love carrying it in my planner!!

    Thank you so much for going back to your old color scheme. Too much different color gives me a headache and I feel overwhelm.

    Thanks for the video! It's nice to find another person who loves paper based planning. I'm curious about how you enter information. All your notes are extremely neat. On a daily basis are you writing that way or do you scribble on scratch paper and then enter neatly later? For example, the notes from my vet visits are crazy messy because I'm trying to get it all down as she talks. If you transfer notes later, what are your favorite "capture" tools for ideas and notes on the fly? Thanks again!

    Love how organized you are, it's very inspiring and soooo helpful. Will definitely have to go on your Etsy site. The calendar you use for your TH-cam planning is great! The calendar at the top and the left to right daily planning is such a great idea. Have you ever thought about doing it with half a month on one side and the other half on the back half giving two lines for each day? I'm a little more horizontal than vertical when it comes to planning and I always feel so constrained by those boxes. I can never print small enough, then it starts getting sloppy, and I just get annoyed. Maybe I'm the only one who's brain works this way but month/half month calendar would be great. Thanks for the great content and have a Happy and Blessed New Year.😁

      Thanks for the feedback! I will add that idea to my list of "to create" inserts and see if I can make it work! I will let you know if I do end up posting it in my shop! Thank you for watching and commenting! =)

    So glad I discovered this today! I had that same planner, sold it long ago because I felt like it wasn’t as pretty as everyone else’s, and have been wanting it again lately but couldn’t figure out what it should have. Your video was so functional and I had been thinking “how can I use weekly spreads on the days when I have lots of to-do’s without carrying a separate notebook all the time, just in case?” New subbie here!!! ☺️

    Hello, this video is a big help with giving me ideas in how to set up my planner. Question-- is there a type of paper you recommend for your printables on your Etsy shop? Thank you so much!

    • @plansmeetpaper3663
      @plansmeetpaper3663  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Jennifer,
      You can use any type of paper you prefer. I used to use 32lb paper because it was so nice to feel and write on. However, my rings were a little tight on space this year, so I am currently using 22lb Staples Multipurpose paper and it is working very well also. Thanks for watching!

    Curious why you switched from the fold out monthly? I love your set up and the simplicity of your planner. It’s just what I have been looking for. 😬

      Mollie Brown, thanks for watching! I just prefer not having to flip anything out for the sake of simplicity so I’m trying to write really small to see if I can make it work!

    Amy, what do you do with your old Filofaxes? Just curious. Thanks, Susan

      @plansmeetpaper3663  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Susan,
      I use my other Filofaxes to store used inserts and already printed future inserts. I know that I will switch out Filofaxes based on the season or my mood in the future so I keep them on hand. Thanks for watching!

    Wow you did a great job! I just purchased a planner, but I am now thinking of ordering one like yours.I know you have printables at the Etsy store, but since I am new to this I’m not sure what all I need to order. Do you sell what is shown on this video as a bundle?

    • @plansmeetpaper3663
      @plansmeetpaper3663  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Shawn,
      I don't sell it all as a bundle since planner needs are so individual. However, if you are interested, check out my etsy shop and send me a message to let me know what types of things you want to track in your planner and I would be happy to send you links for inserts I recommend! Let me know if you have any other questions too, I am happy to help! Thank so much for watching! =)
