This is definitely a game that would benefit from a futher enhanced Mega CD port. Keep the cut-scenes as they are (as FMV ones would be inferior), but add Red Book audio and a CD soundtrack. Bundle a similar upgraded version of Life on Mars on the same disc and sell it for slightly less than a cartridge game, and you have a another must-buy product.
I'm definitely looking forward to get my hands on Life on Earth: Reimagined and Life on Mars for the Sega Genesis. Graphics and music for this game really hits the Cyberpunk Future theme to the game. I ordered them back close to the end of the month April 2023. The run and gun type of games are up my alley.
Looks amazing and the music is top notch. It's like an Amiga x Neo Geo game! Crazy Mega Drive. But as always it's the gameplay that is going to make it a timeless gem or a forgettable tech demo. Wishing the best to you and your projects!

The MSX2 is an 8 bit computer with very limited resources, so we made a reimagined or "remake" version of the MSX version with lots of improvements and extended gameplay, better graphics, sound and music, and trying to use the full potential of the console to the best of our current abilities.
well, I can see why you did that but before I looked into your catalog one would think a developer would choose something other than the mega drive. but then I've seen the console's community (and am part of it to an extent), so it does not really surprise me that one would choose it to remake or reimagine a game that was originally on lesser hardware. (also full voice acting in the intro, major props for that)
I grew up on the genesis so i'm extremely greatful for this remaster. but also plz do not stop developing games for the msx! you guys are on another league in terms of msx game development.

Well, tis game is a remake of our MSX2 version which we released in 2017 so it is available on MSX2 but it is much worse than the Mega Drive version. We also released Life on Mars for Megadrive on December 2022 and Metal Dragon on November 2021, also for the Sega Mega drive, so this is our third Mega Drive game ^_^
Sorry, I don't undestand the question. Life on Earth reimagined is a videogame for the Sega Genesis/Megadrive. "God Mode" is typically a cheat that some games have so you can do whatever you want without limits. Life on Earth doesn't have a "God Mode" if that is what you are asking. If that is not what you are asking, please try to elaborate your question further.
I just saw that there is a youtube video showing the game Life on Earth with an unnoficial "god mode hack/cheat" applied to it. The original game does not have this hack/cheat, some user just hacked the game and showed it in youtube.

The Amiga could have some nice copper backgrounds yes, however overall it would be downgraded visually as it would need to use 8+7 color mode to get dual layer backgrounds (ecs chipset) , vs the 61 colors available on genesis. So apart from some copper gradients the rest would not be as good. The action would likely also suffer as the Amiga would run out of sprites and have to use the blitter. Most likely 25 fps movement There are also shadow / highlight effects used here that could be difficult to emulate on the Amiga. I love the Amiga but this game would be difficult to port without cuts. I'd love to see what could be done however, possibly aga chipset could get pretty close.

Yes, this is a spin-off prequel, it is part of the Life on Mars universe. Yes, the game saves automatically every time you defear a boss.
