- Obi-Wan Kenobi Episode 4 just outright proved that Mace Windu is not only alive still but will probably make an appearance in a future project that Dave Filoni will setup.

May the Force be with YOU.... Always!
Windu was shocked for 29 seconds. And plus the force lightning would wear off. It actually does you see it as he’s following into the streets. Across the sky. Plus Luke was shocked for longer than Windu and survived. Plus Jedi can survive falls from incredible heights. Windu even did so himself when he jumped into the arena. And he could get a robotic hand as well. Also Windu could have landed on a building or vehicle. Plus he could have used the force to make his fall damage less.
I see you like to use the word “plus” and “also” 😂 but your right I think he is alive!
Plus don't forget if Sam wants him alive then he's alive also.
I’m sure he would be to injured to escape order 66 or know it was happening. If he survived wouldn’t the clones have killed him
Yes but Sidious was toying with Luke, he wanted him to feel the pain while Palpatine went for the kill against Windu
Agreed, as an extremely powerful jedi he should have survived that
I think bringing mace back would make him a fantastic foil to anakin. Vader was the chosen one. Mace was just another master. Both had darkness in them, Vader gave into it, mace learned to control and channel it towards good ends. They both had problems with impulsiveness that brought them low. Vader is the worst enemy for a jedi, mace for the sith. And if he does return, he's definitely gonna have some cybernetics. And I'd suspect he still wants to take Palpatine down, but if he blames anyone for the fall of the jedi and the republic becoming an empire, he's blaming the guy who got in the way of him stopping it. A fight between Vader and mace would be epic beyond belief.
This is wrong, mace never used the dark side.
@@teaandtacos8379 youre right he didn't, but that's not what I said. I said he had darkness in him. Even Yoda had some in him (see the clone wars). What I meant was mace learned how to use it in the form of vaapad which requires the user to draw on anger and passion without giving into them. And depending on whether or not this next part is still canon, it's what makes him so deadly against sith lords (George Lucas is on the record saying mace beat Palpatine, if anakin hadn't showed up he'd be dead). Essentially it uses the practitioners inner darkness to draw out the darkness of their opponent, guide ot through their body to enhance their abilities and funnel it back into their opponent creating a super conducting loop where the user just keeps getting stronger when fighting an opponent who's given in to the darkside. It's also why Palpatine was screwed the second he started using force lightning, mace could redirect it back into him and draw it back out forcing him to keep shocking himself until mace chose to stop.
@@geraldposter1496 ah! I apologise. I thought you said otherwise. Nice to know!
But we know how it will play out, seeing that Vader was still around to challenge Luke.
@@roscoelanier8598 it would make sense for the Emperor to intervene and them to kill Mace together.
I would love to see a Darth Vader series that takes place between the ending of Revenge of the Sith all the way to when we see him in Rogue One.

Mace was one of the characters that I always wanted to come back
"Hold on to yo buttss." -Jurassic Mace Windu
I feel like Mace Windu could've fallen to the Dark side if he's survived. Not necessarily turned evil, but he's definitely not a jedi. Mace Windu seems to me like the type to hold grudges and become resentful and bitter over a long period of time. Someone who'd abandon the virtues of the Jedi in order to gain enough power to destroy vader and Palpatine. If Mace Windu returns and is alive I fully expect him to not be sane and to be hateful and dangerous.
He'd still have a purple lightsaber, he's just a little more SLJ and says motherFer now
Luke vs windu face off!!
Well buddy that will never happen lmao
The purple lightsaber shows he is able to wield both the dark and the light side of the force.
I'm of the same mind, myself. There's no Republic for him to fight for, he's probably mad as hell about it, and he's likely using Dark Side powers like Lightning very freely.
If Windu is alive a confrontation with Boba Fett is compulsory. But then again both Boba and Windu are pointless in the Obi Wan series. It's be better to save them for a flashback in TBOBF 2 (if there'll ever be one) or a Boba spin off set in his early years which could be a series or a book or anything else
Boba would only be around what, 23 years old or so given that he was 10 iirc in AotC, 3 years passes between that and RotS, and now this is 10 years beyond that. I dunno if a Boba Fett at that age would have even gained enough notoriety to catch the Empire or Vader's notice for employment, but I could be wrong and missing something too. It would be kinda cool fan service, but I think it would also feel shoehorned in if they did anything beyond the briefest of cameos or teases and left things at that.
@@rylandvance5304 boba was already making a name for himself by the time the clone wars ended I’m sure he’s well known 10 years later

Darth Vader- Cuts Mace Windu's hand off
Samuel L Jackson- Mother Fucker
Darth Maul got cut in half and fell God knows how long of a distance and he survived. Aniken lost both his legs, his left arm, was burned alive and he survived. Palpatine somehow survived the explosion of the death star. The point I’m making is that it’s not crazy to believe Mace Windu might have survived to.
He was shocked bad and lost a hand, but he absolutely would survive imo. Falling has never been an issue to jedi no matter how far.
Mace is a Jedi. He holds no vendettas. That being said, nobody dies in Star Wars any more, except Like and Han
If Mace Windu is alive, then no Star Wars death will ever have an effect on me. Literally the only person who stayed dead is Padme😭
Disney loves bringing people back from the dead and it ruins why anakin turned, him killing mace was his final act as anakin before becoming vader because he knew that killing by killing mace, he would be killed by the jedi so there was no turning back. But now that would be completely pointless if he comes back
And dooku and cad bane (I am not 100% sure for the second one.) and qui gon jinn.

all the Jedi who died in order 66(except Mace Windu I WANT HIM BACK)
I feel like Windu should be one of the few surviving Jedi that Darth Vader will have a hard time upon fighting since Windu's skill is perfect against Sith Lords ( Vaapad ). If Windu is a master of using the darkside without falling from the lightside then he should still be intact with the force unlike Obi Wan and Vader should be no match for him since Vader lose his limbs and lose his full potential of his power. Prefer Boba kill Windu than Vader.
This should be the top comment. All these others nonsense.
Boba seeking revenge on windu would be exciting. Vader v windu just seems predictable.

Boba: 😲
Mace: wow.... Déjà vu?? 🤣🤪
Bobba's been having a change of heart since he took over Tattooine. I think it will later be revealed that the Tuskans didn't take and torture Schmii but actually saved her from the biker raiders. That would begin the turn of Anakin back towards the light side of the force. He would suddenly be burdened with guilt for what he did out of anger when he killed all the Tuskans men, women, and children at the village that he found his mother in.
Boba killing boba is a joke lol no way boba even have the skillset to kill windu
While, I won't rule out Windu being alive, the lack of his body and lightsaber at the Inquisitory citadel isn't necessarily proof. After all, it was Siddius and Vader that would have killed him, so the prize would have been in Vader's castle, or, more likely in one of Palpatine's treasure troves.
@@Arctic_Wolf1 yea but that youngling was most likely killed by a clone trooper or Vader and its not really a huge accomplishment but killing the number 2 ranked jedi Master they would have him on display especially since it was Sidious and Vader that took him out together
Who’s to say their even dead? Maybe the next 2 episodes will be obi-wan going back to the fortress to try and release all the prisoners. Most displayed where no longer fighters or not good enough Jedi to even be recognized.
@@Spicy-nips It'll never happen. They've been careful to avoid breaking the ROTJ's "The last of the Jedi you will be" thing for Luke. Ahsoka quit the Jedi Order, that's how they kept her alive without breaking that. Ezra, is kind of in a weird place -- is his training finished? Does it require someone annointing him? Being shipped off on the purgill bus wasn't exactly a satisfying way to preserve the status quo for ROTJ, but it works. So they cannot "release" any of the Jedi in amber, without killing them before ANH. I don't see them doing that.
I would hope Mace windu would be able to win/at least hold his own. After seeing this, I’m convinced this might happen. Maybe we’ll see some closure between rex and vader at some point too. I find it weird how it appears that vader never gave rex a second thought
Maybe they will bring Mace Windu back in season 3 of the Mandalorian. He could be the one who saved Grogu or was part in the plan of taking care of Grogu.
Also Mace Windu could have turned to the Gray side. This would be epic because he can train Grogu and Grogu would not have to leave Din Jarin for this training because the Gray Jedi have not the same principles and rules as the Light Jedi. This would lead to a dilemma for Din Jarin: his fellow Mandolorian friend (Boba) who wants revenge on the trainer of Grogu (Windu), this could unfold in TBOBF season 2 which is after Mandalorian season 3.
And imagine one of the Yoda species as a Gray Jedi: both light and dark powers and he has been trained by Mace Windu. He would definitely be one of the strongest force users who ever lived. And he could easily regain and restore Mandalore with his strength.
i like this idea
to be honest im not that keen to see more of these grudge match force bowls and, while id be super keen to see windu alive again, i think id imagine him to be more withdrawn and contemplative, struggling with his inner darkness after waking up on the streets of coruscant and realizing the catastrophe thats unfolded. reflecting on his failure to spot the acute danger in the form of anakin in those last moments. i think he'd conclude that the best thing would be to remove himself from galactic affairs for a while, probably not touching a lightsaber for years. in fact, i can see him not even replacing his lost hand, which would be a cool thing for him to do on screen. this could all jive with your idea
It was jarjar

@@DropkickNation I don't really think he needs the money with him being a cornerstone of the MCU. Even if that fails he has Tarantino who loves casting him, all he need is Christopher Nolan to start regularily casting him in his films and he's practically set.
@@Pwn3dbyth3n00b Wants, not needs.
Now I’m going guess it’s going to be canon that those that became one with the force comes buck in full form
I don't think it was a trophy case; I think it's eluding to Project Harvest. Trophies are one thing, but a Youngling is hardly a worthy trophy for a duo of Sith. Especially when one of the Sith is Lord Sidious--His ego would demand finer trophies. Like I said. Not a display case, but a holding cell for DNA samples and such.
I thought the same with it looking like Amber.
Same, especially that not all of them looked like Jedi but force users and Jedi together. Sidious could’ve sensed the youngling, tribesman etc all had special abilities and he wanted them. Like how he wanted Anakin’s ability to see the future and Reva is clearly an Inquisitor because she can sense people, hunt them and read minds.
They used grogu’s blood for its midichlorian count, the same will be done to them.
A Youngling as a trophy has a whole different purpose than a trophy of a Jedi Master:
The powerfull Jedi trophy shows pride = "The one who killed him/her is a powerfull warrior and his actions speak louder than words."
The Youngling serves the purpose of showing the cruelty of those who killed him and strikes fear into the hearts of everyone who's looking at him = "The one who killed him has no remorse or any compassion. It's better not to mess with the one who killed him. Who knows what this person would do to me?"
It makes more sense that it's some kind of stasis field to keep the midichlorians alive. Doesn't mean the host is still "clinically alive", not all cells in the human body die simultaneously on death.
If Darth Maul survived Mace is definitely alive lol. I think the only characters that really die in star wars are the beheaded ones or ones shot tons of times.
Since it happened during the first three he is still alive. They was jumping and flying and flipping and jumping from flying cars etc and lived, he definitely lived that fall
You make some very interesting points and I agree with some of the dots you are connecting, but I need a few more solid dots to come to the same conclusions. I hate to say it because I too would love to see Mace again in Star Wars but I've always felt that Samuel L. Jacksons' character was added as an after thought, as a character made up or an existing character reinterpreted and squeezed in as a favor for a friend by Lucas towards Jackson, hence the reason we haven't heard much about him since his out the window disappearance. No more is heard of him because he was never supposed to be there in the first place.
Mace Windu as a concept existed in 1977
No one has heard of him since then because he's dead. His body became a bloddy mess on the street with intenstense and brain matter spread everywhere and his lightsaber could be in the hands of scrap collector, black market dealer or a trophy in some crime boss's home.
Well we see mace windu talk and get mentioned in the recap at the beginning of the Kenobi series. Bc they know he’s integral to the story. Retconning him just doesn’t make any sense. I feel like a surprise mace windu series will be coming next summer but we shall see.
I see what u mean cuz samuel said he literally asked Lucas if he can be in star wars, he didn't care if he was a stormtrooper, then lucas made him a jedi instead. Jackson also said he wanted to be seen and asked for a purple lightsaber so he can find himself. Specifically in the Geonosis arena in attack of the clones
@@thereformist8718 You are absolutely correct, but if my rememberer is working gooder, I recall Lucas saying on an "Behind The Scenes" DVD that Mace Windu was coceptually on story boards as far back as '77 but he was no more than a line of text listed as "Extremely powerful Jedi, Master level, Council member" but nothing beyond that was fleshed out for the character at that time.
Maces’ rematch isn’t with Darth Vader it’s with Palpatine and it should have happened in the movies
There is no way to make Mace Windu still be alive without ever appearing or being mentioned once in anything else so far. The only way I can possibly imagine is if Mace has been on Coruscant the entire time and does engage Palpatine again but obviously fails and must die then. That is the only way it would make sense.
I want a darth Vader series. Seeing the inside of his relationship with palpatine and how hes fueled by bringing back padme
You just described Episodes 2-6....

Anakin doesn't turn into Vader until episode 3
Episode 2 he's still Anakin.
And in episode 3 we just see him put the suit on that's it towards the end then he screams Noooo
That was at the end of episode 3 as well
So we barely got to see what anything Vader does at all in those 2 episodes
Episodes 4-6 we do get to see Vader but not much of him
It's about Luke Lea and the resistance
We want a show about Vader just like the Oni Won Kenobi show
Have it all about him
Have him dealing with Palp and hunting down Jedis
He's killed a lot of Jedis from my understanding
Plus show if he ever talks to Kenobis ghost force after Kenobi purposely sacrifices himself in episode 4
We did also see him in the Obi Won Kenobi show as well but again... Not much of him either in that show as it was about Kenobi
We want to see Vader dealing with his emotions as well that would be interesting to see if he still has regrets about turning against the Jedi
Also have a show about Palpatine as well
A show about Palps would be awesome and very interesting
Did everyone not see maul get cut in half and fall into an endless looking pitt and came back crazy af but alive none the less
Windu will still not be able to kill Vader, as we know. Or Palpatine for that matter. Though I could see him using Force Lightning, thanks to Palpatine using it on him. One of the things Plagueis said about Lightning was that in order to use it, one may have to be on the receiving end of it.
Not only that but Windu would probably not be that involved in undermining the Empire. There's no Republic for him to fight for anymore.
That is just a lesson they teach each sith of how painful it is which fuels the dark side
There's also a light side force lightning ability that he could master aswell it's not strictly just a darkside power
Did plo get the zap?
Windu gets stronger the more a person uses the dark side. He out right best Palp. So I think he could kill both Vader or Palp. But I don't want to see him fight either. Maybe he could fight some Jedi hunters.
@@theflyer68 that's a good question. I think it's the disney era maul comics that palp said that so in canon plo probably can't do the yellow lightning. Or he can and it just works differently than sith lightning. I don't think Disney has brought back yellow lightning yet though so until something is said about we'll never know
If Mace Windu appeared, Vader would deal with the Jedi master himself. Although, a 2v1 would be cool, I feel Windu could hold his own, for at least a time.
Would be over the top if Mace Windu comes back only to find out Anakin whom he Denied 'Master jedi rank' is now Vader! Only to have Vader kill him! Talk about Karma!
Mace bested palps then was coward punched by a sword and zapped, if he came back and knew he had too fight both at same time he would demolish them easily.
Vader would die faster than the fodder in the chancellors room when he was confronted by Mace and Posse.
Then palps would get killed by mace
@@Lee___H totally agree. he will likely be exponentially stronger because of his rage towards anakin and palpatine (if he went that route which i think he would) while vader may be stronger with the force, but the suit always has it’s limitations. if they fight i don’t see windu dying it would seem odd.
@@no-bh1fr totally wouldn't make sense since his vapad ability copies the opponents darkside power and stacks it in his light side powers to overpower opponents
@@Lee___H you undestimate Vaders power amd hatred for Mace
There is a possibility that we are ignoring:
That windu is dead and on display with saesee tiin, agen kolar, and kit fisto at the imperial palace or something. They'd be somewhere palpatine can look at them all the time, but also show them off to people trying to gain his favor. Basically palps would say something like "do you know who they are," the audience palps is speaking to would say no, and palps would simply say with a smile and as the camera Pans on windus face, "They WERE my enemies..." *evil palpsteen laughter*
I think this is nice because since the jedi temple was converted into the imperial palace after the empire took over it'd be rather poetic and pragmatic, remember they did attack him in his office, so it makes sense that he'd have their corpses and lightsabers on display in either a personal trophy room or the palace throne room. I'd imagine vader has a smaller room for kenobi and his lightsaber and palpatine has one for the jedi that attacked him as well as yoda amd his saber. The one at fortress inquisitorious would be the biggest however, with vaders and palpatines vaults' each maybe only holding a few jedi each.
He reconnected to the force when he had to save Leia and is continuing to remember his powers more with each episode. By the next meeting with Vader, he will be more powerful and also will have spoken to Qui Gon. I HAVE SPOKEN

I just feel like if Mace Windu of all people survived that ordeal in ROTS, he definitely would’ve confronted Palpatine and Anakin again…Mace wasn’t the type of guy to go into hiding. I’ve no doubt that Disney is going to make it so he’s alive because more money for them, but I just don’t know how you explain his complete and total absence from everything.
I’m also getting a little sick of people constantly coming back, Mace should just stay dead in my opinion. I feel like it would cheapen the scene and Anakin’s betrayal of the Jedi if Mace doesn’t even die in that scene.
Even though Mace is one of my favs what you said is correct he wouldn't have stood by
Or at the very least pull a 180 on his survival and make him an absolute mess.
I know Kenobi is already like that but Mace did openly speak against Anakin in front of the council to his face, so if he's alive he probably blames himself for Anakins turn to the Darkside for always being hard on him.
But yeah he would be more resentful if it was canon.
I think what would be more interesting considering Mace windu invented a variant of form two cereso I believe it was that dealt with both light and dark side allowing you to channel the dark side briefly against a sith and in his own rage against the sith he forgot caution and thus lost a hand and was thrown out a window I think if he comes back he'll come back as his own form of a dark side acolyte looking to overthrow palpatine or Vader while claiming it to be justified vigilante style Justice rather than as a Jedi seeking reparation he'll come as some sort of pseudo sith seeking vengeance which would be awesome to see the purple lightsaber turn magenta or even burgundy because he is bouncing more into the dark side rather than the light but not quite sith
Are you sure? It's a penis enlargement.
I think hes 100% alive, there is no reason for him to be dead
I'm pretty sure you mean modified form 7 juyo, which is vaapad.
I think they should make a DARTH Vader series and put Mace Windu in that
I'd really like to see Mace find Yoda before being cut down by Vader
He’ll be in Ahsoka, and she’ll find him. She’ll realize he’s lost his mind, neither dark side nor light side driven. She’ll mention the chosen one, Luke, and this will turn to Mace hunting down Luke…post RotJ Luke. Epic lightsaber battle and Luke will cut Mace’s other hand off. With only a cybernetic arm left Mace will snap and explode into a purple lightning storm… almost killing Luke, and Ben will witness this… become curious and the ghost of Mace will jump into a Snoke clone…
damn this is some mad fan fiction
Please don't give Disney ideas 😂
I would love a fight between Mace Windu and Boba Fett
I have a feeling that Boba as of right now would say something along the lines of, "You took my family & now yours has been taken." & then hippy it up and hire/befriend/shelter him. Boba has too much of a conscience now.
@@billweaver9982 I think that would depend on when Mace shows up in the timeline if he is alive. If he shows up during the Obi-Wan show timeline, Boba is still the merciless bounty hunter who would absolutely, I think, seek revenge against Mace for what he did. If I'm honest from the first movie my love of Star Wars started with Vader all those years ago. And I think it's the fact that the Old Republic Sith were so cool is why I want movies or shows about that era too. It's a lot of what left me not as fond of the prequels. They killed off Maul and replaced him with Dooku. A great Villain makes a story. Make them badass and it's icing on the cake.
And the Darth Vader series will be about him hunting surviving jedi and the last episode will have Mace Windu having a rematching Vader
It would be awesome if he barely survived the fall, too weak to move, and he was captured by security or even clone troopers on the ground. Order 66 wasn't enacted yet, so clone troopers scooping up the Jedi's body would be expected. Palps then decided to take a trophy and froze him in Carbonite while he was still unconscious in the hospital. As one of his treasured possessions, he would have been in a personal trophy room similar to Fortress Inquisitorius on board the second Death Star.
As the throne room survived basically intact as seen in the sequel trilogy, Windu would have survived as well, as being encased in carbonite would have protected him from the explosion and atmospheric reentry. Scavengers would have ransacked Palps’ trophy room pronto, and I could see Mace Windu being sold as a curiosity in a black market. The best part of this is that sometime *after* the Battle of Endor, Mace could awaken, emotionally and psychologically seconds after being betrayed by Anakin. This also neatly explains his absense during the original trilogy or the decades leading up to it and fits in well with Palps sick twisted sense of humor. His ego would see Windu as the ultimate trophy; the symbol of the moment he truly triumphed over the Jedi. After Windu is betrayed and Anakin has truly chosen sides in that climatic moment, everything else is downhill from there. Also, keeping a living Windu basically on ice might be of value to his force-sensitive cloning initiative at some point in the future, so I could see him intentionally not simply killing Windu out of hand.

It's very grim and gruesome, but I kinda like that over time various writers have allowed the stories to show that darker part of the Galaxy. The Empire blowing up Alderaan was a horrible and heinous act. But it was also easy to detach from. You didn't see the people screaming, possibly holding loved ones, or anything like that. Just boom and done. The bad guys are doing bad guys stuff and the story moves along. "Oh no, Vader force choked some lippy Imperial officer to death. Oh well, he was one of the bad guys anyway". Moving on.
Some of this newer stuff really shows just how bad the Empire and Sith can be and paints a very distinct portrait that they are indeed evil incarnate.

Both Mace Windu and Quinlan Vos could have their own series. There's enough there for sure
A fight with all three Mace Windu, Darth Vader, and Sheev Palpatine would be an epic battle. One that would be very much remembered throughout the Star Wars universe.

I could see Windu’s corpse ending up in Vader’s (or maybe Palpatine’s) own private collection, maybe alongside the other powerful Jedi masters. The Jedi who were petrified in Fortress Inquisitorius were basically nobodies, so the Jedi masters must be kept somewhere where the Emperor or Vader could admire their deaths everyday.
Mace Windu wasn't in that room but neither were alot of other popular jedis that were killed by order 66, his dead body could be displayed some place else or not even recovered by the empire at all, the fact that he is not in this particular trophy room is not proof of him being alive.

I mean there was literally a Samuel Jackson interview years ago where he literally told everyone that mace windu was alive, he said something along the lines of “I didn’t want mace windu to be dead I didn’t wanna be dead, mace windu is a bamf, so I went to George Lucas and I said hey George, can mace windu still be alive, I mean Jedi can survive falls from great heights and what not, and George looked at me and said, ok I’m fine with that, I’m fine with mace windu being alive”
I think doing more stuff with Vader especially bringing the comics to life would be amazing.
The Jedi either dead or in stasis... could this be leading to idea of cloning? The emperor is searching for suitable candidates to experiment on. Grogu... Snoke for example. It's possible that this is a back story theme through out.

Mace can force land from big falls, we've already seen that.
He died from having his organs fried before he fell to his death.
I agree with you. When Darth is in the episode there is more interest. Unfortunately I think more of Darth/Anakin is needed. Love to see Darth without his helmet in his hyperberic chamber maybe speaking to himself about his plans. Anakin hasn't had any face time or lines.
Windu would be nice to see as well. I think a Vader series is needed and seeing Windu in that series would be a great place to have a rematch. I feel the Kenobi series should lead into the Vader series to keep the story going. Kenobi and Mace would integrate into the series or further the story. Part 4 of Kenobi was to short, more time and story is needed.
i agree with your thoughts on displaying Mace... AND the fact that they had a youngling should show that they had the forethought and ability to do this back at the time of ROTS, BUT we dont know when they actually started doing this and that they kept every jedi (but mace would be a top prize). i think it is logical to think that mace is still alive, we have seen jedi fall from great heights and live.. and he certainly was a powerful jedi.
Mace Windu being alive would be like Emporer Palpatine being alive after ROTJ.
I don't want any more Vader. But, I want to see more Luke.
I'm most certain that Windu is still alive and just biding his time to strike back, like others have said he could have easily used the force to survive the fall and like Anakin get a replacement robotic arm . so I says he's alive and hopefully we'll see hime soon.
The best story closer, Obi Wan finding mace, after a final fight with Vader and Boba fet. And fet gets closer for mace killing Jango, and is the reason he goes to work for Vader in episode 4.... just an idea 💡
You can't bring him back to get killed by Bobba.

If he is dead??? If mace is alive, that would be a good closer.
@@Gabriel_Cook thanks for the auto correct 😄
We need him fighting the other sith or getting his first red lightsaber, I don’t think Mace Windu would be a good fit. Also they didn’t display him beacause he’s a pancake in the streets
If Windu is alive, then everyone is alive, death doesn't exist in StarWars new canon, everyone is just waiting somewhere for return. :-D
Maul is cut in half and falls hundreds of feet = still alive, Palpatine was thrown into a massive plasma well =survives, Windu =force lightning and thrown hundreds of feet out a window =maybe alive? I guess we can just ignore death - Pretty much invalidates every death, such total crap. This is how you kill a franchise and ohhh yeah, you can't just magically bring THAT one back.
Or he was splattered on Coruscant. I don’t think it would be in his nature to stay in hiding like he did. It’s possible he made it, and if they bring him back, I certainly wouldn’t be upset
Mace Windu was shocked by Sidious's force lightning nonstop with the Intention to kill him. He was distracted by pain when Anakin chopped of his hand and therefor his defense against force based attacks was broken. Therefor no protection against Sidious's full power.
If Windu survived that plus his fall out of the window, Sidious AND Anakin would've felt his presence in the force and Sidious would've urged Anakin to search for Windu and kill him. Because he could've tried to get to the temple, warn the remaining Jedi and build up some defenses against the clones. Plus Windu is the only Jedi left on Coruscant who's a real threat for the birth of the empire. Didn't happen because Windu is dead.
Yoda was hit with full force at the beginning of his fight Sidious but had enough time to build up some basic defense against it.
A Sith can control the output of his force lightning and Sidious wanted to punish Luke for his "lack of vision" and after that he decided to kill Luke. If you look at Sidious's face you can clearly see that he stops for 1 second multiple times because he wanted to torture him to death.
Windu's corpse and lightsaber not beeing in the fortress or the tomb doesn't prove anything.
Plo Koon's body and lightsaber are also missing and the same goes for Ki Adi Mundi and his lightsaber.
Both are dead. Plo Koon's body and lightsaber burned and exploded.
But Ki Adi Mundi's corpse and lightsaber can be there but they weren't.
Does this mean that according to your logic that Ki Adi Mundi is miraculously alive?
Have you ever concidered the possibility that someone, maybe a scrap collector or a criminal have found Windu's lightsaber and sold it on the black market or something like that?
Windu fell at the very least 20 levels. He was at least unconcious and therefor not able to use the force limit the damage of the impact on the street. Whichs means every bone in his body must habe been broken, organs ruptured and if his head hit the ground first is skull would've popped open and parts of his brain would be spread everywere.
Would you display something like that as a trophy?
Please stop trying to apply modern day forensics to a universe with magic. Thanks
@@club.alfagt that's no modern day forensics that's common sense. Mace Windu beeing alive undermines Anakin's transformation into Darth Vader by downplaying his treason and fall to the dark side. If everyone comes back alive and well you can declare basicly everyone immortal making death a non consequential thing and therefor no dramatic and exitement because Star Wars would become a happy kindergarden franchise. That would destroy everything and no real Fan wants something like that.
You would've to explain were he was the entire time. Why didn't he fight the empire? Why wasn't he searching for Obi Wan, Yoda or any other survivors? Why didn't the Inquisitors search for him? Someone like Windu, who dedicated his entire life to the Jedi and the republic would never stop fighting oppression, especially the oppression of the Sith.
If he's not dead he would break his character because Mace Windu giving up fighting oppression and injustice is like calling Maul a philanthropist. His own inner darkness made him develop Vapaad: to channel his own inner darkness into a weapon of the light. Not to mention that Mace Windu was somesone who loved a good fight.
Do you really want a second Disney-The Force Awakens- Luke Skywalker?
If Mace Windu survived, Palpatine would've to hunt him down personally because after Mustafar Vader was only a shadow of his former self: reduced to a limbless burned torso put in a mobile torture chamber and had to rebuild his entire fighting style from the ground up. When he fought Jedi Master Infil'a it became obvious that Vader during this time were no match for someone like Windu.
If Windu survived (which he certainly did not) Sidious would've rushed out of the building, search for him and kill him, because the only living beeing on who Coruscant who could end him is still out there. Windu never learned and never had any reason for hiding his force signature and someone who's second only to Yoda would be impossible to oversee in the force.

I really hope he isn’t. That’s extremely bad story-telling and lessens Anakin’s turn…immensely. It wouldn’t be sad anymore. Or tragic. Palpatine shocked him with FULL power and he isn’t THAT sloppy to let Yoda and Mace Windu live.
I agree.
Okay, I had to stop 3/4 the way through. For one, in the exhibit hall, we never saw any Jedi from the movie put up in these displays. They took characters added in The Clone Wars, and added a bunch of randoms for all I know who they were. We never saw Kit Fisto, Plo Koon, or Ki-Adi-Mundi in amber, and they all died in The Revenge of the Sith (same movie which Windu died in.) So with your reasoning, we'd be wondering if they're still alive too. They are not.
This hall represents the kills which the Inquisitors themselves have made. The Inquisitors didn't exist until after ROTS, so they could never claim any of the deaths in ROTS as one of theirs, so of course it wouldn't show up in their trophy hall.
Mace Windu is dead. He died by Palpatine's hands, because of interference by Skywalker. Let the dead sleep. His death is symbolic because he completely represented everything about the Jedi Order, especially the bad.
Finally a sensible comment and a logical conclusion
There was a reason for the jump of windu from the balcony when confronting dooku at the Battle of geonosis....
I think the obiwan series is gonna be like mando season 1. We have been seeing stuff on Disney plus after return of the Jedi. Although it’s a speculation, I believe this will be the same formula but after revenge of the Sith.
What I want to see sometime is a Star Wars: What If series similar to the Marvel one. Maybe that would be more difficult because Star Wars media across all canonical time periods is still being released, but well-entrenched aspects of the story could still be explored with What-If-style episodes. For example, I feel like something along the lines of, "What if Obi Wan Kenobi escaped with everyone else off of the Death Star in Episode IV", "What if Anakin turned back to the light on Mustafar", and/or, "What if Luke Skywalker fought Kylo Ren in person in The Last Jedi".
I think visions is the closest were ever gonna get to that tbh
Theres a handful of comics along the lines of this, with dramatic re-imagining of each movie in the OT, theyre fantastic and id love to see something similar in animated form

They still never presented a corpse. Everyone though Boba was dead. But yet he survived his fate in Return of the Jedi. All they did to Windu was cut a hand off and throw him out the windo.
That would be the most iconic scene to witness, MACE vs VADER and PALPATINE. Man….or sidious could have his body on exegol doing funky stuff to it. Especially if his body was on the streets.
I have always held to the idea Mace Windu is alive. There is no way SLJ was going to just fall out window as a powerful Jedi. I never could believe that would be his way to go.
I will lose my damn mind if Samuel reprised his role for Mace
The reason he had a purple lightsaber and was even in the prequels was because he wanted to, Samuel always gets what he wants in regards to starwars so that fact that he was talking about windu returning about 4 months ago now means it's probably gonna happen.
@@borderelite but he also has a purple lightsaber because he has a balance between the dark and light, and red and blue make purple so he practically invented the purple lightsaber for dual sided jedi
@@nitroxylictv true but that was also an unplanned explanation because they had to come up with something. Orange is also canon now which means there's actually two colors for dark jedi just orange is leaning closer to the dark side.
I wish they would make a small scene in episode 6 where luke, leia, Hon, and chewy are running to the ship as luke slices through stormtroopers and then it cuts to a scene where Obi-Wan is fighting vader
They should bring windu back abandoning the way of the Jedi at first vengeful but grows to understand why the Jedi fell seeing that there is no one side bug their should be balance between the two and he gains a grater ability of the force.
No mention because Windu is dead. “Unlimited POWER!” Mace was a blob on a Coruscant sidewalk that was cleaned up by sanitation droids. Don’t cheapen Anakin’s turn to the Dark Side or Palpatine’s power just because you’d like to see Mace on screen. I’d be disappointed but not surprised if Disney brought him back because they don’t give a shat.
I'm really starting to go the route of "death doesn't mean anything anymore in Star Wars". Even though i would love to see mace again in the imperial era, i don't think it would do much good for anakin's fall
Mace Windu coming back would be awesome. But do you really think it's possible. They killed Windu because he was the one the feared most in combat. His light Saber technique was beyond most jedi. If he came back Vader would get worked over.
The only way I see a fight with mace and anyone else, is if mace dies. There is zero chance he runs from a fight, and he obviously can't kill vader or Palpatine. I'd love to see it, but I can't see it happening. And mace has to step in, no way he sits out this whole empire regime without trying to kill either vader or Palpatine.
I have to say I fully believe Mace has the ability to defeat Vader... I mean the man single-handedly beat Sidious in a 1v1, and George Lucas is proof that it was a fair fight where Sidious was trying. But I agree the only way he can come back to the screen is if he dies in a duel. Maybe 2v1 Sidious and Vader?
@@pavelj5808 no when I say he can't beat them, I mean cannonically. In sheer terms of skill, and his light Saber form alone, yeah he should win. But I mean, we know how vader dies, and we know how Palpatine dies. I didn't word that properly. I just meant he can't, as in he literally can't lol. We saw how they died.
The only reason why I know Mace Windu is alive is because he fell (And as long as somebody falls in Star Wars) they will survive. It doesn’t matter if you get cut in half, get eaten by a monster in the ground, or get blown up with the Death Star. As long as you fall in Star Wars you will survive! It’s inevitable!
U are right up to facing them, other wise he would have his own series by now, what I do think he has been doingis his purple light saber thing and he is no to be messed with.
I don't think those Jedi are dead and I think there's more to those "tombs" than just a trophy case. None of the people in those tombs have wounds. I think these Jedi were captured and not killed and then placed into whatever that is there are in. Sidious was trying to harvest them for his project. The lightsabers in that room are for sure trophies ...Those Jedi/force sensitive are probably much more than that.
If you see my comment above about SWT showing a still that may or may not be Mace Windu, you raise an interesting point indeed. Well, you do either way, but in this context, if the still he showed is Mace (and it could be), then if what you propose is likewise correct, that means he's alive and being subjected to whatever horrors the Empire is using these...I guess...stasis tanks. Here's the truly terrifying thing. What if they are alive, they're conscious, and not only are they being experimented upon, but Sidious' greatest torture could be simply keeping them alive and immobile, but left to silently simmer impotent and powerless with the knowledge that he won, all their Jedi friends, students, and mentors are dead by his hand. Imagine that for a second. Brought out of statis briefly to be horrifically experimented upon and possibly tortured, but then placed fully conscious into this stasis fluid/bacta's evil twin/amber resin....stuff to not physically suffer, but just sit totally unable to move even an eyelid and basically be forced to meditate on the Sith victory and probably feel through the Force the daily suffering enacted by the Empire on the galaxy. H3 might even out images and nightmares of Order 66 into their minds. Deep psychological torture. Sounds like something Sidious would not just do, but would thoroughly enjoy.
That's kind of the thing which bothered me about that scene. How they seemed less "dead" and more "frozen in time".
@@magnusmaul5447 that’s not mace windu cuz that guy i’m the back has a right hand
@@magnusmaul5447 This is said perfectly! I can almost see a possibility of someone going back in there and releasing the Jedi that are stuck in stasis (if that is indeed what is going on). And if that is Mace in there then writers have an easy opening to bring back some of those Jedi later if they want to do that. Samuel L Jackson and others who want Windu back could possibly get their wish. Maybe years later Luke could stumble upon the base and what lurks inside? All speculation and wishful thinking here.
If Mace Windu is alive I imagine him been like Darth Sion surviving through his pain mentally and physically.
He as always been on edge the darkside but never falling into it with way he is but if anything pushes him further to darkside this would surely be it.
It is entire bundle everything Mace Windu would have been inflicted by.

I would agree that this surely make him hateful, dangerous and out there serving himself now, I dout he be on anyone side.
It would make alot sense he might hunt down inquisitors.
You can argue he falls to the dark side when he decides that Palps cannot stand trial and is too dangerous to be left alive
My question is will mace be old? We saw a youngling and he looked in aged. If mace is in the tomb would he be unaged as well?
It depends on when they’re killed
Even if he's old, it's fine...look what Sidious lightning did to himself
George said windu bested palp but he used anakin to save him in a huge gamble
We need windu as a series where he finds his kyber crystal
This would take place before episode one
We could also get one taking place after RoTS
Seasons 1 and 2. Done.
If he fell from a hundred stories, I don't think he'd look good on the mantle (unless he was scooped into a jar or something). But you're right, he isn't mentioned by the Sith so that may be an indication that he wasn't found (or that they not need to worry about him anymore). If he survived, he'd most likely be using cybernetics. I hope he gets another round with Palps, that would be awesome!
Dude i will be so pissed if Mace Windu is alive. He was shocked for 29 seconds straight FULL BLAST by Darth Sidious then tossed out the window. Luke could barely move when he was getting electrocuted. Force lightning makes your body lock up, seize up and twitch etc.
With Luke, Sidious was not blasting him full strength. He slowly increased the power. It even says that in the book. The moment Mace Windu's hand was cut off, Sidious blasted Mace with a very very strong attack of force lightning..... For 29 seconds straight..... And tossed out a window. Sith can come back because they can use essence transfer or bind their spirits to objects. Jedi can only come back as ghosts.. once they're dead... They're dead and mace windu is dead. If they bring him back i will be disappointed as Darth Sidious's force lightning in canon is supposed to be the strongest Sith lightning of all time and with a midichlorian count of 20,000 and being the most powerful sith lord of all time I find it hard to believe mace windu could stand a direct blast of lightning from Sidious.
Not every character needs to come back
@@TheAverageGamer1 exactly! Sidious made sense. The Sith have been using essence transfer and binding their spirit to objects (heck Darth Nihilus was literally just a spirit attached to a mask and robes) so the most manipulative, genius and powerful Dark Lord of the Sith to ever live I think of course would have a backup plan in case he died. If he didn't come back I'd be even more upset because it makes no sense when it comes to his character that was not only obsessed with immortality but also planned for literally everything.
However how they brought him back in the sequels is trash. The only way I'll accept it is if he still wanted Rey to kill him so he could take over her body and she did and he now his spirit is inside her and he will continue to live on through her until the time is right which i still wouldn't like. They should have brought him back intelligently... Then had Rey and Ben fight him in an epic duel to the death where Sidious would have wiped the floor with them then force her to kill Ben with his own light saber or vice versa. Then after the battle and the rebellion is destroyed and whoever survived is sobbing as they look at their blade through their love, Sidious tosses the dead body into the crevice, says something like, "see? Your pitiful skills are no match for me!" Then he starts laughing maniacally. He then picks them up, slams them on the ground, slams them into something else then force lightning blasts them over and over until they submit to be his new apprentice. Then they would give in to the temptations of the dark side and that would end the sequels.
I think if they make a Vader series, which I believe they will do because of the revenue and lore potential, Mace will for sure be alive and come back!!!
My head cannon with mace windu fighting style using the dark side. I think mace in a last ditch effort mind blasted Vader and Palpatine. To make them think he's dead. He fled as he knew he could not tale them on himself. He ran back to the Jedi temple and rescued grogu

I have a feeling they might go a different direction with Windu. I've seen people say things about his purple lightsaber having something to do with some dark side (or at least force-balance) influence, and I can totally see Windu having some connection to darker sides of the force. I'm not thinking he's going to become a full on Sith or anything, but something like the witches of dathomir, for example, who clearly utilize dark side force abilities without being sith, or all bad. If any Jedi were to use dark side abilities like force lightning or force choke, Windu would be on the top of my list. We see him exert his will to power regularly, but unlike a sith, he stands for noble causes not power for power's sake. I really hope we get to see him fall to the dark side somewhat, Samuel Jackson is excellent at portraying strong emotions.
Succumbing to dark(er) side influences might explain why this powerful and influential Jedi Master didn't take action against the Empire, Vader, Palpatine.
I read it, thanks for sharing!
Luke Skywalker used Force Choke in Jabba's palace in "Return of the Jedi". I am not sure it's a completely dark power.
