Powerful leadership lesson, Rich. I appreciate that you didn't let Jacob take the conversation where you didn't want to go. It's same he balked at creating a game - he might have let ego and fear get the best of him for a moment.

"How we see our world we create our world", so true.

That was intense 🙌🏿. Rich is truly fearless! I love that he knows what he wants and what he stands for. I don’t get the impression that he was annoyed as some of the other comments suggest, rather that he has integrity and holds to his truth.

Agreed. If you listen to other videos he has done where he is leading the discussion you can really get a feel for what he stands for.
I love that he modeled how to set & maintain boundaries for the work he does. I love his authenticity!

I love Rich's thoughts, wisdom and his humility - to have this young chap of 23years old to coach him. I learnt.

Thank you Rich for modeling how to stay in integrity & authenticity. You were patient & graceful during a conversation with someone who didn't know how to actively listen.
I appreciate you sharing this. It helps me to see another way to keep in my own lane, even when someone wants to take me into the one they created for me.

47:40 was absolutely brilliant, and the "I'm open to it" was weird and hesitant. I would have been "Oh yes! Even better!"

I almost shut this off after 3 minutes because Rich looked so serious, heavy, like no fun at all. Glad I stuck with it, he speaks awesome.

Very complex exchange at the end. My sense is Jacob wasn't listening to Rich partially because he felt terrified to be vulnerable in sharing his challenges, and also afraid and defensive to give more power to Rich in the conversation.
Rich's directness is admirable, though I also feel he could've been more welcoming to invite Jacob into vulnerability.
I also feel Rich is always in the "coach" seat and in the place of power in a conversation - would love to see him open to being vulnerable and take in coaching/advice/feedback from another

He is tough! I like it, specially because I corm from a very passive aggressive culture :) thank you for this interview. I'm going to start my money game today:)

i felt the chemistry between Jacob and Rich... Jacob's questions really got RICH going and getting fired up. Rich wasn't smiling because he was in the zone of his passion! haha loved it... 12-15min...WoWoW

Jacob didn't really get it, even after talking to Rich for this amount of time. He wasn't really listening to him. Anyone who watches Rich long enough knows what he is about, and his focus isn't money.

You get the feeling Rich was annoyed by this interviewer guy.... that or he was having a bad day... either way when Rich speaks you cant help but feel motivated

Ben Wilson That's all I felt this entire interview. I don't know if Rich was happy to be here at all

I think it had more to do with the interviewer not really listening to his answers which made the conversation very superficial & about tips & tricks. Rich is more about going deeper & not the how to do things.
I know that I felt myself getting thrown out of the discussion when the interviewer kept repeating the same question without really listening.

Has Rich Litvin ever spoken in Paris? Or has he ever worked with French coaches or French clients? I ask this because I feel that culture is a significant variable, especially with regard to socializing. Nevertheless, I am quite intrigued by his approach.

So it seems as if coaching is not as much about helping others, as to how much money you can get and who has the most important clients. Oi!

    • @anitrahooper5031

Only to this interviewer. That isn't Rich's approach, which he kept trying to explain. Yes Rich coaches people who play bigger, and that is because he is willing to go deeper. It's not about the acquisition of money, that is just something that some people use as a benchmark of success.
