    I found this very relatable because I grew up on a bullish Indian reservation with people who were/are quick to judge me, and find pleasure hurting me. As a returning adult I thought my skillsets and education would better prepare me to handle the jealousy, mean spirited people, but it still exists. In my application I put a statement that I feel like I have been a life long coach using my experiences growing up. My career has taken many twists and curves but now I suppose I want to actually implement all of it to effectively share what I know by helping other people. The historical patterns can be changed and reenergized or reinvented. All of this is individual. My specialty was Diabetes patients and I used that to coach each patient. Do not compare yourself to anyone. Just some brief thoughts. Lastly, I have done so much volunteer work and services that I DO have a problem asking for money.

    I skipped past the coaching content to the main framework, so I can get a better model to help my clients overcome fear. The process Ajit outlines is powerful -- clear and really helpful, for my clients and for me!

    not wanting to be seen or heard, hit me. As a female/little girl in family of males (5) I was not given a voice, not until collage did I learn I could have a voice. I was also loud when I spoke, not so much now. Thanks for the awareness.

    No matter how great our corporate or business careers,we all have some fears in our daily lives that slow our progress. I have so much energy and a positive mindset but still, due to my surrounding, I tend to doubt myself which is nothing but fear of judgment. I loved this video from Coach Ajit, a great analysis of all the fears .
    Understanding & accepting your fears is half the battle won, and with consistent practice and actions, we can overcome our fears and achieve our dreams. I am so much looking forward to the Certified Life Coaching course starting 14th Feb.

    This was a great video! I agree with everything you said. I’m not a new coach, but I just recently relaunched my practice. Just one thing, the Bible says, “the ‘love’ of money is the root of all evil.” I realize you weren’t trying to quote the Bible. Thank you so much for this video I will watch it again and again for sure. Thanks for your transparency. That really helps!

    Insightful video! I actually smiled to myself when you mentioned family judging you. But you did not touch on my number 1 fear though. Fear of running out of things to talk during a session. I terrifies me to stumble upon a client that's not too chatty and then 30min into the 60min session there's silence. Any tips? Perhaps a video or a post? x

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question, Ginte! Thanks for bringing it up. Silence can be a powerful tool in a coaching session. So we'd like to ask you first, why do you fear silence? :)

    Thank you for the great video. I really want to help people with mental issues to heal and become better people. I started off wanting to be a life coach, but realized that this is not a good fit for me. Instead I want to use the avenue of nutrition and a holistic lifestyle to help people. Because this is what I've been living for most of my life. But I do have the fear that I don't have enough knowledge. I also feel lost, as I don't know the direction to move forward with getting clients. So, I may start with ebooks and courses for starters. Any suggestions to deal with these issues?

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Great question, Aldean! It's normal to have those struggles, every coach has them especially if they're new! The 2 biggest challenges, as you mention, are 1. knowledge and 2. clients. The lack of knowledge might happen if you don't have a solid coaching model or methodology to follow that is proven to create results. In that case, we recommend taking a course or certification (for example: www.evercoach.com/holistic-coaching) that can give you that backbone which you can merge with your own personal experiences, and start practicing and creating results which will increase your confidence as well. And regarding getting clients, there are many strategies and approaches you can try. We curated a playlist with our best ways to get clients: th-cam.com/play/PLLz6vjpxFbXjZJM-KqAjZzPYvMU0I0Cah.html. Let us know if this helps! ❤❤

    Judgement - Yes but this feeling is coming from me thinking that they will judge me. I have nothing to do with many of the people whom I believe will judge me, therefore it's an irrelevant fear, and yet it is so strong it stops me from doing so much! 1 of these judgements is also a fear, that judgement will come from one person I am very close to as it has been shown in the past that they have not been happy with my actions in the past and now she looks at me as a silly old person. both of these judgement fears stops me doing so so much especially putting myself out there. Irrational and yet so debilitating....

    • @mindvalleycoach
      @mindvalleycoach  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your vulnerable share, Cherie-lee. This is more common than you'd think but you're already one step ahead because you are conscious about it and know where it's coming from. Now the question would be, what will you do with that information? ;)
