How does the light button turn on only the light when there’s only a red and a white wire connected to the controller?
I'm assuming the two wires are low voltage and are only there to supply enough power for the wall button. The light on the ceiling has an antenna coming off the unit, so I'm guessing it's remote control to turn the light on and off. Well, thanks for watching
I’m not getting any led lights after replacing the wall unit. Tried a few so far. Any ideas? I’m just reaching
@cray3027
your switch most likely is fine and you need to check the wires at the garage door opener unit. Make sure they are plugged in all the way. Another tip some times, I unplug the garage door unit and let it sit a few minutes and plug it back in, and it works again. Also, check to make sure the garage door unit has power. And last tip, make sure wire going from garage door opener unit to switch is not damaged
@@onesimpledad thanks man. I appreciate it the tips. I tried all of them based on your advice, no luck, but worth a shot. Turns out the units are old and not providing enough juice to the wall units so I will put a door bell style on.
