Thats a perfectly good rx8 if its 8k miles , been watching him 3 years to see how it will go after seeing this video im finally sold on buying one its just not that many good condition once n Chicago
Bought mine with 70k miles and sold it with 130k miles with no major issues. I drifted and tracked mine and was still my daily. Look for a manual they have stronger engines and have a bit more power
When you're doing your radiator I would say it's worth swapping out the thermostat for the low temperature Mishimoto part. You can also have the radiator fan cut-in temperature adjusted in the ECU if you want more control.
The people online complaining are talking about 100k mile used RX-8’s, if u find a rare low mileage RX-8 u shouldn’t have many problems for a long time
@ has the engine been rebuilt when u bought it? If it hasn’t then it’s been extremely well maintained then or just lucky idk. finding a good one on Facebook marketplace is a nightmare
@hazexo1131 guy I got it from claimed it was rebuilt during his ownership by him and a friend but he had no paperwork on it, I searched the Vin and found it was at a copart 3 years ago so not really sure when it was done, we'll see how long she lasts! But no problems yet
I want to buy a shell Rx8 and put a new crate engine for $6500 and a new transmission for $2500 but my father is calling me stupid because “why not just buy a working car” I really want a rotary car that I can also daily drive and I don’t care about how much gas costs since I only drive 10 minutes each way to work
You need to drive the car hard. 10min drive to work ain't gonna do the engine good. If you drive the frequently after work that's fine. From personal experience my Rx7 Fc lasted 7 years of me owning it. At the time I only drove to work and back home. It was also a 10min drive, again that's just my experience with the car.
@ thanks for the reply. Yes I would definitely drive the crap out of it after work lol. I’m thinking about tracking it, that’s why I think I want a new crate engine and transmission
The Mazda RX8 is too underrated for what it is. Yes it's not a RX7 but that's not the point when Mazda made this. The RX8 is the real 4 door sports car. I would do a project with it and try to copy a koenigsegg Gemera type of style
got my self a mint 8k miles low rx8 . cant wait to drive it in summer . gonna take care of it like its my own baby XD
damn thats really low mileage, hope you'll put many miles on it!

you're going to be the reason I will go broke
Completed my first year with mine and cant wait to have more.
I love my 2011 r3. I’m glad your rx8 found a great owner
Bro you should do a version of this but focusing on daily driving on New York, can't imagine driving my baby in NY with all the crazy drivers

It’s cold as balls this week in the east coast. Rotary sack retraction in full effect.

I loved my 09 six speed rx8, babied it sold it with 110k still running great. Regret getting rid of it.
Bro is either rich or going broke buying gas / premix
Making me want to buy one now, in the UK they're deadly cheap, and I've always to say I've driven a rotary
Nice video, can't wait to get the new engine put in mine next month!
Zoom zoom 😎
I like your car!

Mine has 169k miles and starts everytime

Was it worth it!?
Every goddamn second!!!
And still am
The RX8 is Mazdas integra/WRX type of vehicle
Add more premix if u want temps to drop

The Rx8 is nearly half the price the Rx7 was.. i mean you will hardly get a more pleasurable car for that money. I also love the fact it is N/A.
For some reason you just got extremely unlucky when parking it outside
RX8's are like those old skool Kodak disposable cameras...........
