I change my region to Japan when I buy echoes that way I get more echoes. Ex: you get like 1308 echoes for $20 in the US, but if u change ur region to Japan u get over 1700 echoes
I was bored, had made my own calculations on this awhile back, and yours add up! However I was also interested in comparing the store prices of both echoes and fragments in regards to each other (focusing on skins). My findings were interesting.
there’s a site where you can get the 690 + 69 echoes for 7.19+ fees rather than 10$. and buying 10 of them is more value than the 100$ one + it’s gonna be 75$ total USD including fees and everything (depending on where you are)
Hi, yes! The store does give extra bonus echoes for certain purchase amounts. I decided to do the calculation of 1 Echo based on the price of the default 60 Echoes = 0.99 USD due to it being the only one without gifted echoes. -- So, the prices remain the same but you are just getting extra free echoes by purchasing certain amounts. I did the best I could 🤣
@@BBlackPhoenix actually nope! You get the best offer with the 9.99$ one.If you buy it 10 times you will get 7230 for 99.9$ mind you but if you buy the 99.99 one you will get only 6,918.That equals to getting 312 less echoes by spending 9 cents more 🤣🤣
@aniki4128 I don't think you understood my point... My point was to calculate how much an echo is and then calculate the price of something from said price. The only consistent price of an echo is [ 60 Echoes = 0.99 USD ] because this purchase doesn't "gift" you echoes. Of course there are special deals where Netease gives you extra echoes for spending more money, but those are "gifts" in their eyes. The same way that a discount isn't the full price of an item in a store, the discount is a "gift" from the shop. Example: A book costs $10, there is a discount card given to a customer of 10%. You then purchase the book for $9 dollars. The book still originally costs $10, you just got a gifted discount! I hope my example makes sense, it may be flawed but it is the only way to calculate how much something costs without discounts or gifts. A user may have bought the special deals with free echoes, or a user could also just buy 60x echo packages again and again (wouldn't be smart but is doable). Weird but true...
No bonuses! People have been asking this, with bonuses it become a little complicated to calculate as there are often deals for "gifted" echoes. I just did the calculation without "gifted echoes", 60 Echoes = $0.99 as it states in the store... I made that decision and I see it can confuse people. My decision may have been the incorrect one... but "gifted" echoes are the same as getting "discounts" in the store. It isn't the actual price. (I think? Hard one!)
now i understand why this game ain't even having a LATAM server, here we can't even think about those prices. i love idv but i'll just farm fragments and clues, it's inexplicable expensive, 40dlls for a change of outfit??? not even with cosmetics on the habilities
I would only ever buy an a tier room however since it was on sale and only cost me $50 I got the s tier room if it wasn’t on sale I never would have bought it
I am not sure how you even calculated this, for me, an S skin is like 30 dollars, while an S accessory is 20 dollars. Some poeple say that an SS skin costs 500 dollars, but for me, an SS skin is about 350 dollars
US Dollars? I am just going by the price in game (in the store) of 60 Echoes = $0.99 Of course there are deals that gift you free echoes, but I am not saying how much you will spend if you optimise how much you get from special deals (coz they change) but the basic price of an echo! It's a hard one to calculate...
This game is so shady man. I like it and I won’t deny I’ve bought a lot of stuff already so I can’t even quit. But I’ll never regret buying misty villa for like half the price, not worth it but kinda was. Now spending on gacha?? Hooo never again

I'm happy being free to play :3

How you change it?
I have fallen in a trap that I can not escape and it idv addictive gambling 🤑🤑🤑
In my country, 1 echo is 1 currency

@@BBlackPhoenix great calculations btw ! it is quite expensive just for a single item especially the ss skins 😅
That Unlock Limited S Tier on CN is prized 3000$
DANG MY MONEY
There's no reason for such prices, oh my god 💔
Put your device on Japan location and u literally get more echoes per purchase
Bro if you by the full shop is a hole lot of money
I only had to pay $40 for an S tier skin
Did you include the bonuses in this? I’ve purchased a number of s tier skins and don’t remember paying more than $40 each, with some echoes left over.

That is a good deal... Considering the original price at least 👀🤣

if it hand t been on discount I wouldn’t have bought it

I dont spend money on identity V that's why I got Bugatti
Shoulda saved up for a mansion! Lol
And LawByMike says idv is a f2p game...😔

doesn't make any sense how expensive everything is in this game. and neither why people keep buying without saying anything about the prices
