Cool, and WTF, does your sexual preference have to do with playing music?? People with disability never are retarded it's people that say that.....holly smoke, you haven't been here long have, you? Anyway, rock on,
Oh, at least John Meyer is still doing it,,,where you? At home eatting frootloops, still dreaming,,grab a fucking guitar and get up on stage or in front of people and play that shit.. Then when John Meyer, comes up and says I'll sign you, you can then remove your foot from your mouth.. Anyway line 6 you've come along way, I enjoy playing your equipment, by my self or in front of people, not guy but who really gives a fuck, keep up the good work, see ya on stage
Pretty wild. Just going into the front of the amp here.... I'd like to hear a side by side with this, against one hooked up with the 4 cable method so we could hear the difference.
With my hd500 i find the best drive sounds are the compressors set low and loud pushing the amp. Cant really use the fuzz or distortions but those compressors have very good range. Also the eq's used similarly.
Took one home last night, OD/Distortion effects are harsh and raspy, couldnt eq it out, effects other than that reasonably good. Seems to be common to all Line6 OD/Distortion. It woudl be great if they did more work ont he OD/Dist
Yeah, I GOT some of this and the stomp etc. and although you can tweak to a good sound, even a tube sound, eventually it becomes irritating and you’re spending more time adjusting than creating. The effects are very good but don’t think Earthquaker or Matthews or Keeley. Great for the price just don’t expect high detail from at least half of the models/simulations. Also nobody seems to have skills beyond typical metal lead/rhythm. Too many cliches….soft, oh, chorus+compressor+JC120. Metal but not thrash…Silver Jubilee+EQ+Noise Gate, etc.. Good for the money, and the audience can’t tell. But brutal when you hear a Kemper, despite the price difference.
more Rockin quality sounds,:) i watched the 2nd 1 first:) great stuff, really sounds what i like, quality drives, don't care for amp sims, looks a simply layout, already reading the manual, looks/sounds the perfect step up from my zoom G3XN
Hey bud With your les Paul did you use the hx in 4 CM - and if yes did you find you had to reduce your return signal (send / return block) to get rid of noise ?
Overdrives still sound digital. Guess there's only so much that DSP can do with that, despite the assertations that we now have the computing power of a spacecraft. Rest of the FX sound great though, really great.
I just got one of these . .yes, the dirt boxes on the HX Effects are not the greatest but I'm using more as an all -in- 1 time based effect unit, which it is pretty good at.
surprised 2 read comments of folk not regarding the drives much, so can anyone point me in the direction of a unit with better drives that doesnt cost the earth? thanking U
Thanks for no talking. Effects are ok, but I can't see them replacing analog pedals. Distortion sound like good old L6, you either love it or hate it. That could never replace a real TS9 for me.
alienlovesecrets no they won’t, those who use it won’t be taken seriously. Very exceptional few could do it, but why would they choose to? I’m sure you can find the one exception to what I say of some pro using this in some circumstance to make life easier. But in the recording studio? No. By pro I mean player serious and good enough to be hired for session work. Not just anyone “making a living”.
I think the gear snobs will have their opinions... digital nah.. line 6 nah.. Too bad what matters is the artist not the tools the artist uses. I know pros who are using digital stuff from 10 years ago on professional recordings. Shhh... don't tell them I told you.
best demo of this pedal I've seen! No talking, no talk show bullshit and production, just showing the tones, good playing too. Great job! Thank you!
At last, a demo without inane talking by people who love the sound of their own voices. Great demo, thanks.
Great demo man, and thanks for showing your settings as you go - very helpful! 👍
You're the only video with no talking and no bullshit. Thank you thank you thank you
Best sound review channel on the 'tube!
tall order to find a demo like this...straight to the point..thanks
Thank you for doing this. All content no BS. Perfect.
Great demo sir. Greetings from the Philippines ❤️
Great review. Serious serious playing
No Talking

Ronald that was a dumb comment. I’m straight and love JM
Best demo of this unit thus far 👍👂👍
Great playing!
Excellent review!
Great demo!
Just saw A Pete Thorn clinic. He used his amp and this. Sounded amazing.
Pretty wild. Just going into the front of the amp here.... I'd like to hear a side by side with this, against one hooked up with the 4 cable method so we could hear the difference.
The tones on this video are infinitely nicer than the Tom Quayle video, interesting!

question can you modify the settings like for fuzz i just want a little fuzz can you adjust middle gain etc
Hey bud

Is it hard to stack up different effects and make your own sound?

Nice!!!! Part 2 Please???
The soft touch on my 6th footswitch is not working, perhaps do you know why..?
Mine doesn't sounds like that at all! Distortions really, just adds volume and noise, but no drive or anything, somebody has had the same problem?
Stellar Tone! All effects straight into front of clean amp?
Andy Roberts I’d like to know that too.

great sounds, care to share some patches?
TIP: If you pause the video for each (IIRC) patch he uses, you can also copy down the settings of that patch. Not very hard to do.
@@larryh.3173 Not every patch
How can I get these presets?
The gain stuff sounds to digital for me. The effects aren’t to bad
the Klon clone actually sounds great

yes my point exactly.
I use a Laney IRT Pulse in the HXFX loop, great organic sound

What amp are you playing through?

Whats the song at about 1.50
i believe it's 'slow dancing in a burning room' by John Mayer
Sam Keenan Thanks!
I am NOT a fan of the digital emulations of OD and distortion pedals. To me they sound brittle. To each is own.
yeah, good job. Anderton's has jump the shark with all their chatter. I like them and everything just not that much.
Didn't hear any good rock sounds with reverb&delay
Io l'ho comprato e nemmeno si accendeva.....
No pedal, no deal.
Nice riffs
Way beyond my skill set
Anybody ever purchase riffs?
Great choice for amateur noodler.

I a guitarist like McCay is sponsored, given gear for free and paid to use it. Then yeah that would be an exception.
As well as recorded on song in the album with it according to the contract. Of course the rest of the songs were recorded professionally
