I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better (Byrds cover)

This is a cover of the Byrds song 'I'll Feel A Whole Lot Better' that I recorded with my Great Unknown band mates, David Taylor on bass and Dean Constable on drums, in my home studio space, Guffland Studios. Performed 'live' in the studio, mixed and mastered at Guffland.
The guitar is my Gibson 335, recorded through two amps: a Fender Deluxe Reverb and a Peavey Classic 50 (set up in a separate room), and mic-ed with an SM57 and an OPR Grill (Royer 121 clone). Dave's bass is DI-ed through a UA 4/710d, with some compression on the way in. Dean's drums were recorded with a kick-in mic (AKG D112), a snare mic (SM57), a Sennheiser MD441 on the floor tom, and a stereo ribbon overhead mic (Nude Blumlein). The five drum inputs were run through UA API Unison preamps.
