I’m excited to see this. I have the paper like that they sent me for free and I do not like it. The installation was horrible and I could never get the bubbles out. I’ve installed tons of screen protectors and the paper like was the only one that gave me problems. I’d much prefer a tempered glass one.

I wanted to ask since you've tried them, do you think it's worth it to buy the Switch Easy drawing tips and use a regular glass screen protector on your ipad?? I'm really curious about the tips feeling like paper and don't want any reduction in the quality of my screen! Or am I asking for too much?? Lol!!

I finally gave in and got Paper Like and it surprised me,tried others but got bubble on first one and second one was scratched up after installing. So ordered a Matte glass screen protector by Ambison . I like it dosnt scratch easily. It’s clear feels more like paper. The paper like was too smooth and thin. Only issue is it has wobble. But I dont draw or write a lot. A lot less bubble easier to apply .
Can you tell us if it gives you wobble when drawing diagonal lines? I had to remove my tempered glass because it was causing me issues with procreate. Thx!
I use this exact protector, and yes, it will cause a small amount of wobble depending on what tips you use and what your procreate settings are. I chose to switch back to the original style tips, and I increased the streamline in the control panel. This increases streamline for all brushes, so keep that in mind if you like to use your brushes to fill in spaces over drag and drop.
I was just in the need for a new screen protector. My screen is cracked just got a Apple Pencil and it’s interfering. This sounds like a perfect option. Let me go see the cost looks expensive.

I was an avid Paperlike user (kickstarter from the beginning!); I'd be curious to see a 2-3 month review on this, focusing on any wear on your apple pencil tips, or scratching from the pencil to see how the build quality holds up.

How does this compare to the paperlike when it comes to writing feel? Also, did you have paperlike 1 or paperlike 2 (I think that is the name for the new version)
It writes well. It is on par with paper-like. Paper-Like is a bit more smooth writing experience though
the problem with all glass screen protectors I've used is that the added thickness greatly reduces the Pencil precision. try a slow line in notes or procreate and you will see some waviness .

Great video! yes please update in a month on the wear and tear of tip !! & Ditto for a short on lines using procreate or some other drawing app of choice to check for any parallax. I haven’t even used my iPad Pro yet because I want the best of both worlds. Maybe this will be it !

I really liked your video….I tried following the paper instructions from the mfg videos….but I couldn’t grasp since I’ve done this. Fortunately I did not break my red strip. I’m familiar with taking down command strips and knew I had to stretch it out. Thank you very much for the video…it was honest. It would be nice to have do over, but 🤷♀️. Keep on.
@@TheAverageTechGuy happened when I installed the Paperlike screen protector. A lot of bubbles on first try and on 2nd one I scratched it removing bubbles yeah $42. I’m keeping 2nd one on as long as it is clear and not bothering me. I tried others and they distorted my view. But I find paperlike is clear don’t distort but all screen protectors scratch. But how does this one compare, dose it sctraach top surface ?

Cool overall video, but you barely reviewed the use of the product.
If I didnt purchase a set of tempered glass sheets for my ipad pro 12.9 M1 I wouldve gotten this one instead.
If you only use your ipad for writing then i highly recommend this. If not then do not buy it. IT doesnt just lowers the quality of the display “a little bit” like what he said in the video. It lowers it significantly. Say goodbye to HDR. Say goodbye to the precious OLED like colours and blacks.
Worst thing is the pencil leaves marks on the protector. Which you need to wipe to remove.
iPads aren't OLED. Thay're mini LED and don't have blacks as deep as OLED.
