yeah my seat height is 35" compared to yours which is 27.9", and my tires are 19" front, 16" rear.... and yours are 14" and 12". Huge difference for a few hundred bucks

Hi my name is Dylan and I have just acquired a 2021 x-pro storm 125cc and it was missing the rear brake pedal and the hardware to hook it up, but I have been looking everywhere and amazon seen to not have the right one and even on the website and they do not seem to have the right one from what I can see from pictures. I was looking at piranha 190 and pitster pro fse 190 claimed dry 142 and i think 160 wet. The pro is loaded. 5 extra pounds for 14/17s . Everything is already chromoly or aluminum. I was hoping with the storm there was room to upgrade with light parts and still keep it under these other bikes weights. Of course you don't want a bike that can't take hits, but seems like this area of weight is really as good as its gonna get. That storm is pretty dang small. I have a little crf50. It somehow can handle my fat ass sitting on it. And rips still lol .
The storm is small. If a pitster pro fse is in your budget I think it'd be a great bike. I was looking at the 140, but I came into an Awesome deal for my crf 110.

California can't stop sales of small engines or bikes, they can refuse to register them. Just like if you have an old bike that's legal and need new engine, YEAH California can NOT stop sales of engine, yet every one else doesn't want to deal with ca bs. So you have a TB big bore kit in your bike and the Honda has a 138 kit as well, my question is whether the power on your bike is comparable to the Honda's? The other question is what forks and rear shock did you go with and how much did the suspension upgrades cost? I am looking to get a couple of these bikes and build them up to ride around with my son and my grandkids and need the bikes to handle mine and my son's 190lb butts really ripping the snot out of them. We both are former privateer MX racers and have the skills to lay it down but have never messed with these little bikes so we are way out of our element. Sure we could buy a Piranha, YCF, Thumpster, or Pitster Pro but would rather spend the money on getting the entire family riding than just us. Like you said you can buy 4 bikes for the cost of one of the other brands. I am impressed by how well your bike performs. Any advice and guidance is greatly appreciated.
So, in this video, my bike is stock only performance mods are a nibbi 22mm carburetor, uni air filter, and dunlop mx34 tires. The rear shock I use is an Amazon 980lb 10.25" $40 shock. I'm using the stock front forks. They lasted right at 11 months before the seals started leaking. The xpro storm 125cc is stronger than lightly modded crf 110. In this video, I'm racing against my friends bike that has the 132cc big bore. It can battle with that bike without any problems. To answer your question the X-Pro Storm 125cc is 810 shipped to your door from powersportsmax a little more if you use Amazon or Ebay. A handlebar upgrade $45-100 , nibbi carb upgrade with air filter, $60-80, $40 rear shock, $40 rk chain. $1000 dollars in your machine you can beat crf 110s, klx 110s, ttr 110s etc... The X-Pro is 30 lbs lighter than a crf 110 The crf 110 is more comfortable sitting, but performance wise you won't be disappointed against other dirtbikes in the same class.
My brother was about 190lbs and he changed to a heavier fork oil i have it in the description it stiffend up the front for him and it worked well. I have the 138cc big bore kit installed now. It is a BEAST. However, my chain came off over a table top and locked up my engine at the top of 3rd gear. Now I'm having a weird clicking noise in neutral now. When the clutch is pulled or the bike is in gear there is no noise so I'm sure I messed up the shift shaft or the shift forks on the shift drum got bent I'm not sure. So it's just sitting at the moment. It is crazy fast with the big bore/ race head kit. I haven't got to open it up yet and you can tell it's a big difference over stock.

@killacoiler1707 Merry Christmas! The forks are non adjustable. We haven't been able to find any springs you can swap out. My brother just went to 30 weight fork oil and added a little more fluid to make the forks a little stiffer.
Both should be close in power and price range. The seat height for both bikes should be pretty similar as well. Both bikes are considered mid sized bikes.The apollo bikes have graphic kits for them, and X-pro don't at this time. Apollo has already made a name for themselves, and the x-pro bikes are just seen as a cheap bikes at the moment that haven't been tried and tested as much as Apollo. The X-Pro brand is getting there, though, with people like myself and others. I would determine what riding you are going to be doing, if you want to leave the bike stock, or modify it, and I'd look at the specs of each. Then you'll be able to make your decision. Hopefully, this helps some.
quick question i’m 12 and saving up money for the x pro would it be worth it? for a starter, i grew up on a yamaha 125 and other honda so i know manual is it worth it?
@rybry-lt6tx The yamaha 125cc is a way bigger bike than the x-pro. To learn a clutch on and to have fun the bike is awesome. If you've only had Hondas and yamahas you probably will want to save for a used one of those bikes. The x-pro is a fun bike ,but parts are readily available for Japanese bikes. For Chinese bikes parts are available, but limited and you have to do research to determine if something works universal compared to for a specific bike. The X-Pro 125cc has more power than my Honda 110, but the Honda is more comfortable for an adult. For a kid it will be awesome. The wheel dimensions are very close to a crf110, but the plastics and seat are from a ktm50sx. Hopefully, this will help with your decision. For the price the xpro is amazing. If you find a Japanese bike in great condition under a 1000 get it.

@nejlepsisnowboardistavsechdob Any semi automatic dirtbike or pitbike will be great to learn on. The crf110 is designed for a kid , but the bike in this video a rider that's 6ft 1inch or 2inch rides the bike and weighs about 190lbs. If you want a larger beginner bike with a clutch the klx 140 is nice or crf 125. If you are looking for a cheap bike just to see if you like it, the apollo brand bikes look nice , x-pro has held up well for me but they have low stock at the moment on some models. Powersportsmax.com had the best price shipped for the cheaper bikes,but amazon.com carries a ton of them as well.

@danielreekwald4702 That's Awesome! 😁 Any way you can make them lighter and keep them just as durable will be worth the upgrade. The yamaha 110 is already the lightest from the factory, compared to the honda and kawasaki. The lithium battery weighs a good bit less than a regular acid battery. A good set of tires and suspension upgrades make the biggest difference to me. The dunlop mx34s have worked excellent on my bike and my brothers. You can always make more power and shed a little weight ,but if you're not getting traction, you're not going to be faster. You know this, though 🙂
You definitely end up wanting more power. Just fun riding with friends through trails and backyard tracks instead of having to pay fees to ride motocross tracks😏

@KrossLong-i2u The china exhaust are already the size of aftermarket sized exhaust for Japanese bikes. There are a few exhaust systems ,but i haven't been able to figure out which one would work for this specific bike. Lm performance ,big gun exhaust , and the thumpstar exhaust look like very close designs that might work.

I have a tao tao 125cc dirt bike for my first dirt bike ever owned so clutch was easier for me because I owned a atv before now and that was a 250cc so it came naturally using a clutch go from race ready to a yard demon its a huge difference between a name brand and Chinese
The biggest advantage of the big name brands is that the aftermarket is readily available. The aftermarket for the Chinese bikes are out there, but you have to hunt for better products than what comes on the bike. Performance wise, the 125cc china bike is stronger than the stock 110s , but it should be.
@MartinRacingChannel yea I found the website and had to order some bearings for the front forks and about to order a tank but whenever parts are available I'm always asleep or working so it's hard to catch a restock every time
@garyrusso8031 I order most of mine from powersportsmax.com and use Amazon for a good amount of parts for the china bike. TBparts.com has a good amount of chinese engine upgrade parts. I use them for the china bike and my Honda.

@tyspangler8302 I didnt take it that way.😁 A 2 stroke definitely has a learning curve, but they are a blast.It won't be long and you'll be able to put him on a Cobra 50 or something similar if he likes riding.
😏 They are really competitive with the built Hondas power wise. Reliability wise it's very difficult to compete with a Japanese bike. Aftermarket is way better for the Japanese bikes as well. Only a few companies stock parts for the china bikes.

The extra cost is almost worth the efi and etunning for me.
@@ColdStoneRacing The efi is nice, but most of the factory carbs are on point with minimal jetting changes needing made when upgrading.
The best beginner bike for a small child is a pw50 hands down anyone who says anything different is delusional
I started my son off on a crf50 when he was 4 with training wheels. It was too tall. The pw50 height is perfect for the little ones.
