  • This is my review of the Anker PowerCore III - Sense 10K Portable Battery Bank. Anker is well know for their battery banks and the PowerCore series accessories. They have great prices, they're well-made, and you can find them anywhere from target to best buy, and on Amazon. The new Ankwer PowerCore III Sense series is neat because not only do they work but they look stylish as well, coming in multiple colors - and even has low-output mode.

    Helpful video. You are correct, the instructions don't say much, and I have no prior experience with battery banks. Thanks.

    I just bought one and I can't get it past 2 lights...one green and it's been 4 hours..so I don't understand...I have tried different wall outlets. I need more understanding why 10 hours versus 4 hours...4 hours isn't working for me...

    Bought this battery and was totally caught off guard by the fact that it comes with no way to charge the battery. I just spent $50 for a battery bank and now I have to go spend more money to even be able to charge it??? Ridiculous.

      @@joshualong1796 yep, and i didnt have one. probably like lots of people. seems pretty stupid for the manufacturer to assume someone buying this would either already have one or would somehow intuitively know they need to buy one to even use the product. literally every electronic i’ve ever bought that needed charging came with the required cable to do so. thats foresight i appreciate by the manufacturer and is good business.

    I charge my airbuds with 18w charger is that gonna damage it?! 😖

    • @TechOdyssey
      @TechOdyssey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s not designed to be charged with that much power but I do the same thing for the most part. There is always an insert in the earbuds that says to only use 5W. It’s a small battery and not designed for that much electricity. They put the insert in there as a warning. But I’ve never heard of anything bad happening.

      @@TechOdyssey thank you for your respond really appreciate it, I thought that it has it’s own power monitor like the iphone, ipad and other devices because I heard that you can plug the iphone into 60w or 45w and it’s only gonna take what it’s need which is 18w or 20w

    • @TechOdyssey
      @TechOdyssey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@waadabdullah9942. There are a lot of technologies like power delivery (PD) that help with that stuff and will adapt the power. As far as the 45-65W super fast chargers I don’t know. This power bank has power delivery on one port and also has low-output mode for your earbuds

    Can I use Apple 61 watts charger to charge this powerbank? Will it damage the powerbank?

    • @TheViperMan
      @TheViperMan 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      There's some sorts of negotiating between the powerbank and the charger. (PD does that) if your powerbank can't take more then a certain amount.. it will automatically lower the output of your charger.
