Tiger looks so beautiful! Thank you Mama for going with Tiger’s wish for a cut, honestly, hair is the lesser of the battles we as parents, especially mama’s, should focus on as they get older and more independent. By allowing this change, you are embracing her individuality as a young girl but as a person. Not today there shouldn’t be lines not crossed like respect, modesty, obedience, but hair is a safer form of independence for children from Tiger’s age through their teens.

I donated my hair for the first time around Tiger’s age. It has become quite the “addiction” now and now I donate it every time I cut my hair so it’s quite the massive chop every time! I’m glad tiger seems to love her new style!

My daughter decided on a chin length bob when she was 5 because she was struggling to keep her hair clean and brushed. She still needed help til she was 7 or 8 but it was a lot less time consuming.
