She didn't treat all the hair the same because they are different textures and have different needs. She did however treat all their hair with love and care. The haircare needs of all children were met. That is what is important.

I am a psychologist and this woman is actually abusing her child. "My daughter is sad because she doesn't want to do hair day." "I'm not going to let my child walk out the door without her hair ." Having no empathy for others others is a symptom of both narcissism and psychopathy. Why can't she just have her natural hair? Making others conform to you is abuse.

you are so right. this is the first video i've ever seen on this channel and there's just so much love in it, it made me tear up a little. i wish my multicultural family was like this growing up. when i was young, nobody talked about it - people made it shameful. i remember being cared for as if i were white. my parents weren't cruel make no mistake, and i was cared for! but it took a long time for me to understand my own body, hair type, etc. and with hair especially, that meant undoing years of accidental damage. it makes me so happy to see a family able to embrace every member with love and understanding, and even happier to see that they can post it publicly online and show other people how truly important it is to create this loving environment. the number of people who are glad to see it and think it's beautiful, makes me tear up too. i remember hearing so many unkind things said about my family. people are still like they were when i was young, sometimes, but i see more and more people who are good and kind and it brings me hope for the world.
sorry to ramble. it made me feel so warm to see this!

The first time I dated outside race I was astonished with the difference in hair texture. I'm northwest European and she's southeast Asian. I became obsessed with playing with her hair. The highlight of my week was when she let me shampoo and do her hair. She was the one who taught me about jojoba oil which I highly recommend as it strengthens hair. I have always had long hair myself but it would wear down at the ends at roughly half the rate it grew so it would take me ten years to grow two feet of hair and always looked ragged but it only took her five years for the same length and she always looked like a shampoo model. Then I started using jojoba oil and it was a huge difference. Instead of only getting 2.5 inches of additional hair per year I started getting 4 inches of additional length per year and now my hair is well lets say longer than most women's hair. My hair is naturally thin and brittle but it's now actually thick because the jojoba oil will infuse the individual hairs and increase their individual diameters. It's almost like I have extensions in my hair now. For any hair that is naturally brittle or tends to break or wear down easily I strongly recommend it. It also makes it far easier to comb. It's expensive but you only need a fraction of the amount people use of other oils. Stay away from coconut oil. it smells nice but does nothing but clog pores and inhibit growth. Jojoba is also good for very dry skin and really good for nails.

I hope Panda and Drue get the option of a spa day if they ever want one!
Even though it's a lot of work and time, I'm so happy for Tiger, Cow, Badger, and Jeena. This one-on-one time is so valuable for bonding, and also teaches that taking care of one's self is something that is important and can be done thoughtfully. I love that Jeena uses lots of conditioner and is mindful of not pulling on hair.
I hated any time my parents had to do my hair because it was only ever to get tangles or debris out and it always hurt a lot. I am tender-headed, but I can imagine if hair days were like this instead, I would have loving memories of these days and might find taking care of my body to be an easier/more appreciated thing for me.

This brings me back to my childhood. My parents never did anything so excessive like this. Wet-shampoo-rinse-dry, that was it. But I have such fond memories of my dad mimicking a tornado with my hair and the hair dryer. Or them rubbing my hair with the towel. Everything you should not do with hair. But I loved it. And noone cared if my hair looked dry, anyway. I don’t think it’s important for kids to have the most healthy and styled hair. As long as they’re clean and loved. Then again. I guess it must be different for kids with deep curly hair.
Anyway. This family looks amazing. They spread a contentedness I wish I will get someday. To the woman: your husband’s right, you are glowing.

I love watching y’all. You are such an amazing mom. I think I need you to be my mom even if I am probably 25 years older than you. I love how you treat all you girls the same. I tried once to do my goddaughters hair, I had no clue how to do her hair. She cried, I cried, and when her mom came back she laughed. She told me that her hair wasn’t just wash and go that there was a lot of steps. Heck I didn’t know I just thought you did like I did mine. It takes me about 15 minutes start to finish with my hair because I let it dry naturally to keep my curls for a few days.
