You dont need precise zcull for GoW3, approximate is faster.
The scale of the opening, even by today's standards feels so larger than life. Many other triple A games fall short in 2023

It's great to lock the game at 60fps and then use Lossless scaling to scale 2x to 120fps
idk if it’s my settings but my 2070 super max-q cannot run it at all. it’s on 5 fps when kratos yells at zeus with while he stabs the ground with the blade of olympus

My one and only issue with this thing. To make it go past the 100% scaling. It simply doesn't work. I can set it up as 800% (10k) and it will not make a difference in quality or performance)

Is this still the level of CPU performance you need to get solid 60 fps in God of war 3? Maybe the emulator was further optimizing on the last year requiring less CPU

I have rtx2060 but the emulator doesn't use all of the GPU it's like 30% to 40% of the GPU sometimes 20% but CPU 100% what's the resaon ?

13900k is not working with avx 512
AVX512 is only available on Alder Lake, Rocket Lake and Zen 4.

Dang that looks/plays good. Has more progress been made on the emulation performance recently or is it just being brute forced by your i9/4090?
I think it's a combination of the two. I have seen a lot of new options on the emulator now, how much that helps I am not sure. But the games are looking closer to what we would expect now.

Most of it I would say it's the power of their rig, I have a i7 9750 12 core and a 2070, doesn't come nowhere close to their performance, 20 fps at most haha :(

I have a RTX 4090 and AMD AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor, I am using your settings but for some reason I'm only getting 25 fps. Any idea what could be going on? 1080p and 4K both give me 24 FPS, and the CPU is barely taxed. Something's limiting my GPU (4090) and I can't figure out what it is.
Intel Alder Lake and Raptor Lake CPU's are just considerably faster when it comes to the RPCS3 Emulator. This is my performance when I was using my 5950X th-cam.com/video/NWshTklD1e4/w-d-xo.html
You can easily go 8k. Gpu just sits at 23%
Emulation is limited by single core of the CPU, going up in resolution also increase load so would decrease performance by a lot.
@@satnav9699 RPCS3 can use 8 cores on games the took advantage of the PS3's SPUs. The processor is mostly used for getting the game to run. Enhancements like resolution increases or anti-aliasing is mostly on the gpu.

Because the RTX 4090 is not the main factor in emulation. It is your CPU that is responsible for most of the performance.

Why is it not 100% gpu usage? Is it utilizing everything or is there something limiting the gpu.
ps3 emulation is really JUST about the cpu and gpus only upscale rather than affect the fps (if it does it bearly does anything)
hey i have i9-9900k and gainward gtx 1660 super with be quiet! Pure Loop 280mm water cooler and my temperatures are sky roket high like 80 or higher degrees, do you think the bottleneck is the cause of this or the settings in my emulator?
Check diff games and change cooler.

God of War 3 is listed as Ingame and not Playable. Did this crash for you anywhere?
I haven't tried to play the game from start to finish, so maybe later in the game you will have issues. But the part I played was fine with no issues

7900XTX competes with 4080 not 4090. You won't get 60fps at 4k with it.

@@dagrimmreepa 7900xtx isn't a ryzen dummy, it's a gpu. He meant the 7000 zen 4 cpus. And the 7900xtx would easily do 4k 60fps.

Nice. How do you think this would run on a 13700k with a 3080ti? Also does ram speed matter? I'm using ddr5 5200MHz vengeance. Also you tried mgs4? It's a crime that you can only play that on ps3.
I'm not really sure how it would run on the 13700K and 3080 Ti as I don't own that hardware, but I wouldn't expect much difference considering this is an emulator. How ram speed impacts this emulator I have no idea and I have played MGS4 many times in the past and it works pretty decent.
@Bang4BuckPCGamer cool hopefully I can play mgs4 all the way through. Looks pretty bad on a ps3 on 4k tv. Konami really need to release a remaster on pc.
13700k with a 3090 here, I have the same memory sticks as you, GOW3 runs at an almost locked 60 @ 4k resolution scaling with an occasional dip to the mid 50s/high 40s during big scenes. Only the color grading patch(speed boost) is applied since I feel removing the layered fog hurts the atmosphere and picture quality too much
lol I forgot to uncap the frame rate since its a new build I'm playing on. Its pretty much the same performance as you see in Bang4Bucks video, with his having an avg of about 5-10fps higher in a few intense scenes. CPU is pretty much the biggest factor when it comes to RPCS3

The CPU is more important with emulation. The RTX 4090 is barely using 30% of it's power
If I use your settings my 9900ks crap his pants. More than 50% less performance with mirror settings.

Es una lastima que rpcs3 sea tan mal optimizado que incluso como vemos en este excelente video necesitas una rtx4090 para poder jugar un juego de 2010 que incluso se ve que con las gpus de gama mas baja 1650 super y rx6400 deberia de ser posible correrlo a 60fps pero no se nota que el emulador esta vendido con soni por que hasta ahora es posible jugar asi a 60fps y solo con una grafica extrema cuando los juegos de ps3 que salieron en pc fue posible jugarlos siempre a 60fps o mas con una humilde 1060 por eso siempre se a dicho que rpcs3 siempre estubo vendido con soni y este video lo demuestra claro un juego viejo de 2010 no puede ni correr arriba de 30fps con graficas como las series 16 y rx 6000 gracias con el video pero comprobaste lo que siempre la comunidad supo de ese emulador que siempre el progreso para la emulacion del ps3 fue bloqueado a drede por soni
Bro la emulación es un caso diferente, siempre va a ser mejor el rendimiento de un juego nativo de PC a uno que se emula, y en este video esta el ejemplo ya que con esta bestia de PC que esta utilizando el creador del video muchos juegos superiores en gráficos podrán ir mejor, ahora es de tener en cuenta que en este emulador importa es el procesador, es por eso el buen rendimiento es un i9 13900k, yo por ejemplo tengo un 15 12400f con una GTX 1060 6gb y la mayoría de tiempo alcanzo 60 FPS no son estables porque el procesador se queda corto a lo que exige RPCS3, pero si a mi GTX 1060 6gb le monto este i9 13900k el juego a 2k ira a 60 FPS estables. Por ultimo, lo de optimizado creo que es complicado porque lo que los desarrolladores de este emulador han logrado es una azaña de otro mundo. Saludos!!!
@@joseoswaldobetancursuaza8893 men me refiero a que sigue siendo una burla que para poder jugar a 60fps estos juegos en pc necesitas gastar casi 4.000$ mas o menos cuando esos juegos y la consola no valen nada casi el juego lo ayas gratis pirata o de coleccion bien barato y la consola la encuentras por unos 200$ con disco de 2 teras en cuanto al emulador no te parece raro que hasta ahora aya gpus que mantengan los 60fps o arriba es como si los juegos y el emulador limitaran la potencia adrede y solo hasta ahora la 4090 liquida ese bloqueo a fuerza bruta y tu que dices tirar 4000$ o mas por solo jugar a 60fps un juego de hace mas de 10 años eso es lo loco de todo esto que el emulador este tan mal que se necesite una grafica de empresa para levantarlo bien
@@alejandroaguilar3354 no hay que gastar tanta pasta, solo es saber que componentes comprar, este juego con un i7 12700f y una GTX 1650super A 2K ira a 60 FPS sin problema, le repito este emulador no demanda grafica sino procesador, aunque es obvio que en una GTX 1650 no se puede correr a 4k pero si con una 1660 super o GTX 1070 que no son graficas que valgan un riñon, y lo del rendimiento en PC no es una burla antes todo lo contrario hay que agradecer que exista este emulador y que sea capaz de correr el juego asi teniendo en cuenta lo compleja que es la arquitectura de PS3 y lo complejo que es programar, le recomiendo que busque videos de god of war 3 con i3 12100, i5 12400f, 12600k, 13600k, ryzen 5 7600x como información que le ayudara a comprender que no se necesita un PC de la nasa para que este juego valla a 60fps. olvide decirle que el rendimiento del emulador ha mejorado por el buen IPC que tienen los procesadores de nueva generación intel 12 o superior y Ryzen 7000 o superior en un futuro, con procesadores anteriores así lo acompañe de una RTX 4090ti los fotogramas serán malos.

Scammer nvidia and intel makes good chips with horde of dedicated zombie engineers...before arrival of new games in 2 years and they soft code kernel of their chips to adopt new direct x rendering schemes for 90% of games at 2k subtract 60-80 fps and get 3080 ti 250 watt while 4090 can give more fps for 150 watt in normal rendering without heavy use of shaders in games yet in demanding games it could consume 500 watt to infinity with all options checked while you could want to enjoy a next gen game made for it after paying so much for it..for cpus all the same for games +10% vs -10% fps between generations less than 8 years old chips vs +50% or -150% power effectiveness to infinity for multi thread use.
